We stayed two nights at the Jolly Hotel Midas (aka NH Midas). The hotel is a little on the outskirts and not in the heart of Rome (the busiest areas).
I thought the hotel itself had a lovely look and feel. The décor is here sleek and modern. Our hotel room had a balcony although not much of a view. The lampshades in our room were gray and boxy. There was green stencil décor above the bed and the same green design on the glass on the shower door. The bathroom had black slate tiles all over.
Underneath the television is a table and pull out white decorative stools and there was a pull out stool under the sink in the bathroom as well. Next to the bed is an oversized gray chair which was so comfortable. The large bed was actually two beds pressed together. The mattresses were firm, but comfortable. The room had wood floors and the lighting is motion censored in the closet and actually throughout the main hallways too.
Also, if you want to take a walk, there is a supermarket down the road. We walked there to fill up on extra toothpaste, mouthwash etc. I actually found some Nutella with a decorative jar with turtles on it and bought a couple of those too! I also found some Hello Kitty chips with a bracelet inside! HA....
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. read more
