We needed a last minute hotel for our trip to the poconos so we chose Hotel M for a quick getaway. The hotel was fine for the weekend but the prices were definitely too high for the quality of hotel. The toilet didn't work well and flushed for long periods of time. The sink was clogged and drained really slowly. They offered room service daily and the staff works hard with the limited resources they're given. One of our towels had a hole in it and the pillows were extremely cheap because several of them were lumpy. The light in the bunk bed area flickered on and off. On a positive note, having the bunk bed separate from the king bed was fantastic. The room had a good mini fridge and a microwave. The hotel offered a decent continental breakfast and the staff that catered the breakfast was extremely sweet. read more

We got a last minute room for 2 for about 110 a night on a weekend. For a last minute emergency, I'd say it's worth it. Running water, made beds, includes pool everything you expect from a hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! Booked our room online via hotels.com. Had a great deal running for 3 nights for a holiday day weekend. The room was booked 3 weeks ahead than our actual reservation. Called the hotel, spoke to receptionist who told us that everything was okay. Dates were correct & to just show up to the hotel. Fine. Hotel does not look like the pictures! There's a picture that states that the hotel is being renovated just to cover up this abysmal of a venue. Unpaved driveways, broken windows and key slots. Check in was okay, receptionist was very hopeful. Got to our first room, RAT DROPPINGS, STAINS & HAIR covered BOTH double beds. Stains on the wall, coffee stains on the countertops, & strong moldy smells. Crack in the bathroom door and the beds had NO BOX SPRINGS! Got to our second room, clear difference with the beds. We actually had beads with attached box springs. But, again hair and stains and moldy smell overcame the room. Went back to receptionist, we asked for a room change or change of sheets or at least deductions off the bill. Was told that the the cleaning service went home for the night, no deduction can be processed because manager is not available and that the computers are down. Thing before you book Not a place to stay. The bed sheets are old I found hair on my bed and there is weird stinky smell all over the hotel. No elevator and sometimes the door keys don't work so you need to walk all the way back to reception which is like literally 1000 steps lol. The bathroom sucks and not clean and neither hygiene. The management is weird as they don't have any services from 1AM to 7AM. Especially when it comes to Covid hygiene should be utmost but nevertheless waste of money. read more

First things first - the people who *work* here are lovely. None of the problems with this hotel are their fault. That said, the jacuzzi next to the tiny pool is covered over by fake grass and trees (so, I'm guessing it's broken), the shades don't close all the way (maintenance guy came up to fix it and ended up using safety pins...), the door knob to the parking lot in the back is hanging off, the pillows are almost comically lumpy and uncomfortable, the blankets are paper thin and there are no extras, the parking lot has more potholes than not -- and they don't shovel or salt it at all when it's snowy and icy! Clearly, the owner is happy to take guests' money without putting a single cent back into fixing the many, many broken pieces of this hovel. Even with all this, I think the worst part was when one of the two big-screen TVs was blaring in the morning at breakfast, with only three tables occupied, and I went up to the owner, at the front desk, and very politely asked him if he could turn off the TV -- and this is how the exchange went: "Why do you want the TV turned off?" "Not everyone wants to listen to Fox News while they eat..." "Not everyone wants to listen to CNN!" "...Yes, so why not just turn off the TV?" The owner then proceeded to walk to the other TV, the one that had been off, and turned it on -- to the same Fox News program. Summary: the place is a dump and so is the owner. I didn't bother to even check out the pool since the inside and outside of this hotel is so outdated, you can smell the age permeating from its walls. Customer service was good though. I wrote a letter to the owner. Good day I checked in yesterday around 630 pm. The hotel is undergoing renovations and I can appreciate that but not at the expense of customer service. There is no operable elevator I actually called the hotel to make my reservations and no one said the hotel was undergoing renovation or that there was no elevator. Also no one said there was no longer breakfast because of COVID that was told to me after I got here and checked in. Then I got to the room. To say the least I was disheartened at the condition of the room . The curtain is broken and dirty (stained). The linen on the bed is stained. When I say linen on one bed it was dirty the second level had hair on it the third level was ripped the fourth level had yellow stains. The other comforter (on the other bed) was dirty and the replacement comforter that was given was stained. I had to make the bed because housekeeping had already left for the day. The bathroom was dirty the toilet seat was cracked and dirty, the tub was dirty with black stuff in the bottom there was hair on the counter by the sink and the counter was dusty and dirty I cleaned the bathroom and if someone would have cleaned it they would not have seen it took one wipe to clean the mess. There is no ice machine as I had to go to the check in personnel and they gave me ice in a plastic bag. I also had no iron in the room the front desk again gave me an iron in a plastic bag. The radiator or whatever you call it was dirty. The tv was stained the mirrors were stained yet my friend ordered a room same price that's twice the size and she did not have the same issues. This room seemed like a last resort room because there is no way you rent this room to people in this condition. The toilet overflowed after I urinated and wiped with tissue. Your website and hotel description is misleading. There is no staff at the front desk 12am-8am which means there is no ice. When I checked in I was given 5 room keys(cards) and told to put some in my car because if you put the key near any electronics it will de magnify and you will no longer be able to use the card to get into your room but that is where my car keys will be if I need to get the card from the car. This is my second stay at hotel m and I am more disappointed than the first. My first visit here was a last minute decision to stay at the poconos for a night and the room was cheap and available last minute. As soon as we walked in the room it had an extremely overpowering stench of body odor. My boyfriend barely has a sense of smell and it even bothered him. We got fabric refresher from the dollar general across the street and used the entire bottle on the carpet and the beds and the stench still did not go away. The bathroom wasn't clean but it wasn't the worse I've seen, it was do-able for one night. We are now here for the second time for another last minute weekend trip. The front desk lady was very nice and friendly and the room didn't smell like body odor, just slightly musty but not overpowering. Though the hallway smelled like mildew and needed to be vacuumed very badly. On the side entrance the wallpaper is peeling off and is a little moldy and again needs to be vacuumed badly. In the room there were stains on the bathroom counter and toilet. There was also hair all over the bathroom. The most horrifying part was the blood splattered on the shower ceiling. Clearly the showers aren't cleaned if there is blood in it. Also there was a blood spot on one of our towels. I can understand the room being slightly dirty because it's a fairly cheap hotel, but seeing blood twice is absolutely unacceptable. Even if they don't wipe down the shower after every guest, it should be checked for stains. As nice as the staff was I'm sorry to say that I won't be staying here again. read more

Okay so I passed by this place twice didn't know that it was a hotel it would have been nice if There was a light surrounding the sign so that when you are traveling in the dark attention is drawn to it. Step inside the ground was horrible to walk on my company elderly lady. She had a hard time walking on the grounds because every step she took it was a pothole uneven pavement or the asphalt had a hole. This is no good this is definitely a possible lawsuit so I think you guys might really concentrate on getting something done about that. As far as the room it was clean there was some black spot on the carpet on the floor but otherwise I can't complain very neat. However the lobby had a smell to it I can't really pointed out I would say it was on the scale of dirty carpet or dirty mop and that wasn't pleasant I was just praying that the smell is not also in my room. I see that they try to bring with painting the walls are yellow or goldish color which was cute and it worked. I must admit I had a hard time finding the elevator. I'm going to suggest that you place an elevator sign from the ceiling or hanging by the wall so that people do not walk around the building three and four times trying to find the elevator. The breakfast was okay I guess if you don't mind plain potatoes with no Peppers no onions no seasoning. Looks like someone just took a bag of sliced potatoes placed it into a warmer and call it hash browns LOL. Other than that boiled eggs on point kept fresh from contaminating anything around it which was good. The receptionist was friendly was not very knowledgeable about certain activities in the area that we were interested in it I think if you're going to be a receptionist you should know what's in the area possibly offer directions you don't have to give them have somebody print them out and make a whole bunch of copies and hand it to the customers as they request. The pool and fitness center were not something to be desired. Also I don't know if the videos going to show it but it was a spider spinning a web in the hallway. Now there's nothing drawing a spider in a hotel especially if it was just one I saw. So I'm not going to mine is a star because of a spider. Simply the worst hotel experience possible. When arriving to the hotel I was completely ignored by the guy at the front desk for a good 5 minutes while he argued with someone on the phone who was obviously a friend or family member. When I interrupted he held his finger up to say one minute, which became another 5. Once I actually entered the room, I enter the bathroom turned on the light and there was a COCKROACH running across the bathroom counter! I know that this might not be their fault if another patron brought it with them, so I still wasn't going to review them. This was literally the only room I could find in town or I would have been out. Surfaces were sticky, floors stained, drips down the sides of furniture and a smell that was just nauseating. The final straw was when I decided to hit the vending machine (as nasty as this place is I figured a vacuum seal should do the trick). I follow the vending machine room sign on my floor to an empty room, this took about 5 minutes, its a long confusing hallway. Then I went to the first floor, just to experience the exact same thing. I decided to go to the front desk and complain and guess what? Nobody was there, but there was a vending machine which to no surprise was unplugged! So now I am going to pray they have washed my sheets and go to sleep totally disappointed. Worst $175 I ever spent. read more

We got there and not only was there no lake but the hotel was on a highway next to a Wendy's. The halls smelled of smoke and paint. The lobby was unfinished with a water heater just hanging out next to the vending machine for no reason. No Vending machine on my floor (2nd). Just a room with an un plugged ice machine, tarps, paint and a paint roller. The hotel is garbage, it was advertised for originally being 300 a night on sale for 80. I figured it was a steal on groupon like most things on group on . But this place is horrible. It's the bates motel mixed with the shinning and a fresh coat of paint. Never again. I can only describe this hotel as surreal. If you're going to the Poconos book your hotel far in advance so you don't end up here like I did. This hotel is run-down. The detergent used to wash the sheets and towels made me itchy and sneeze non-stop. The room we booked had a shower curtain as a divider between the bathroom and bedroom so after a big hassle with the hotel manager, concierge and maintenance person we moved to a room with a separate bedroom and bathroom. Guests put their dirty towels outside their doors in the hallways. The whole place smells terrible. The breakfast was disgusting. read more

It appears that the sheets hadn't been cleaned from the prior occupant. Simply bed made. We found hairs on the sheets and stains as well. My family and I were cutting through the Mount Pocono area to get down to Lancaster,PA for a family vacation. We'd been driving all day, so we found this hotel to stay at for the night. -Ammenities- They have a pool and hot tub; currently the hot tub is broken. They also have a 24 hour fitness center. We visited neither of these locations on our visit, so I cannot say what they were like. -The Lobby- We checked in at about 10pm. The front desk employee seemed tired but nice. They serve a continental breakfast from 6:30am-9:30am and it is held in the lobby. The seating area looks clean. They had a cart in the front entrance so you could load up your luggage and roll it to the elevator. -The Room- On first glance, it is clean. We looked at a room before we committed to it, and on checking the bedding and bathroom for cleanliness it looked fine. When you first walk in you get an overpowering scent of what I can best describe as smelling like a bowling alley (it must be the rug cleaner they use). Unfortunately you cannot open the window even a crack to get fresh air. The next best thing to do was to get some air circulation with the air conditioner. When turning that on it produced a musty old smell, but at least the air was circulating. The carpet has stains here and there, as does the upholstered chair in the corner of the room, but the rates of this hotel are decent so we didn't expect 5 stars or anything. There is a large flatscreen TV in the room, a coffee maker with instant coffee, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a clothes iron. The refrigerator in this room makes an odd ticking sound like a timer, but once the air conditioner is turned on you don't notice it. -The Bed- As with any hotel, knowing that the top comforters in most hotels are not cleaned that often, I took it off the bed. There were two sheets on the bed: a regular thin one and a slightly thicker quilted one. They were both clean except for the thicker one which had a bright pink stain on it - it looked like highlighter or a marker so it didn't gross me out too much. The pillows are HORRIBLE! Don't get me wrong, they are clean and you get three, but I recommend if you know beforehand you are staying at this hotel to bring your own pillows. They are extremely lumpy and uncomfortable; sort of like laying your head on a bag of cotton balls. I ended up folding up my robe and a jacket to use on top of the pillow. After a night's sleep I can say that the bed is of average comfortableness. Nothing to get excited about but I am not in excruciating pain on awakening. -The Bathroom- The bathroom is clean. They win the award for having the largest hotel bathroom mirror I've ever seen, it runs the length of the wall from the countertop up. The countertop is nice and big as well; plenty of space to put all of your bathroom needs (there are three of us traveling in total and we were all able to fit our stuff on the countertop). The toilet doesn't have an extremely powerful flush but it gets the job done. An extra roll of toilet paper was provided, but the kleenex box in the side of the counter had only about 7 tissues left. The hotel provides you with the usual bathroom freebies: bar of drying body soap, small body lotion, and a small bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. There is a hair dryer attached to the wall. The bathroom has only one light switch for the light above the counter, and an odd timed-light that you turn on with a dial; not sure if it was supposed to be a heat lamp, but it didn't make the room temperature any different. Unfortunately there is no fan/vent to take the steam out, so expect everything in the bathroom to steam up and get moist. The bathtub itself has plenty of room to place your showing needs. The showerhead is horrible. It reminds me more of something you'd water your plants with than clean yourself with. It is large and has three settings: the first one only sprays on the outer edges of the showerhead, so there is no water coming out of the middle aka where you actually want it to spray. Little did I know that it had such an extensive reach, it melted half of my bar of soap and also managed to spray the left side of the toilet and the wall and floor next to it. The second setting, which you switch to by using both hands to turn the large disc-like showerhead is a middle sprayer with not much power. I had to crouch down to get it to spray my head but at least it was aiming at me and not everything else. The third setting is a non-human setting, where it blasts you with enough force to actually hurt. They provide you with the usual floor towel to step out on and also a hand towel, wash cloth, and bath towel, which were all clean. In conclusion, this hotel stay was not bad at all. It is definitely decent for the price. If I needed a quick place to stay overnight at in this area, yes, I would stay here again. read more

I couldn't cancel the reservation, because they have a strict policy, so I was stuck with whatever they gave. Being a non-smoker, I was really hit hard with a pungent smell of cigarettes inside the room. They have no windows that open, so there's no way of airing anything out. At the time of checkout, all my clothes smelled of old stale cigarettes and now I probably have a damaged lung from secondhand smoke. Amazing value for just passing through town on a long drive. Front desk person was nice, and it was no issue that we needed to checkin after midnight. The room and linens were clean, but room overall seemed a bit damp but not a big deal. Room includes mini-fridge, microwave and plenty of room which was nice. We didn't checkout the fitness room or pool. Continental breakfast included waffle maker, cereals and breads with coffee/tea. All the staff was super friendly and offered to help. read more

Groupon shouldn't even collaborate with such a hotel. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! I would rather camp in the woods then stay here ever again. If there was a "0" star rating option, they wouldn't even deserve that. This hotel was the absolute worst hotel/travel experience that I have encountered. First things first, this hotel is in THE POCONOS of Pennsylvania. They often get snow, and a lot of it. I was blown away when I went to go check into my room at 7PM on Saturday, March 3rd to find that there was no entrance or exit of the hotel that was accessible. They had about 15 inches of snow fall THE DAY BEFORE and still did not have their parking lots plowed. That being said, the entrance and exit to the hotels were blocked in due to the city plowing the road that the hotel was on. When I attempted to go around to the side entrance, there were cars PARKED IN THE ONLY ENTRANCE blocking the rest of the guests' from being able to pull in or out. When I called the hotel, Beverly answered and she couldn't have been less helpful. Her response to me being blocked out of the hotel, THAT I PREPAID FOR, was that maintenance was working on it and there was nothing she can do. Also, every surrounding business and restaurant was plowed with no issue (therefore it was not a "too much snow" to properly clear excuse) because everyone else was just fine. So after driving around for 3 hours, the. maintenance man finally shoveled a path for us to drive into the parking lot to park. Once we woke up in the morning, the nightmare continued. There were cars blocking the only entrance and exit to the hotel. I went to check out at 7:30 AM and guests were also waiting in the lobby to leave sine 6 AM already aware of the issue. Beverly (who was still there from the night before) was once again less than helpful or friendly. Instead of calling rooms or knocking on doors, they literally JUST SAT THERE. **See photos attached of Beverly and the parking situation** It took my having to call the police to send a towing company to tow all of the guests cars before Beverly decided to tell her maintenance man to start knocking on doors and waking up guests to move their vehicles. This whole process lasted 1.5 hours. I was not offered even 1 ounce of apology or anyway that the hotel would have tried to rectify the situation. God forbid an ambulance or emergency vehicle needed to get into the parking lot, because it was absolutely impossible and I'm sure broke several fire codes. Also, on top of this nightmare, although the lot was finally "plowed" there was absolutely NO de-icing steps that were taken. I witnessed 2 elderly people fall multiple times with their luggage attempting to get to their car across the frozen parking lot. This place needs to be shut down and/or reported. We arrived to discover that the computer system was down. Despite the fact that we had our email confirmation they could not assign us a room or check us in. It took the woman working the desk almost two hours to speak with tech support and get the issue resolved. The woman was friendly, but not being able to check in after several hours on the road was a disappointment. The room was a single king with a fridge and microwave. The room wasn't dirty, but it wasn't clean either. My fiancé defined it best as "old, but not visibly dirty, just nooks and cranny dirty." There were bleach marks (I hope) on the comforter, some gum/tar marks on the carpet, but it did appear to be recently cleaned. The bathroom was clean on the surface, but the wallpaper above the shower was peeling and discolored. The sink was clean, but there were stains around it. I think by now you get the picture about this place. It is a case of getting what you pay for. The room was less than $100 for a single weekend night at the end of summer. The hotel is old and it shows it. Many of the halls smells of stale smoke as the there are several smoking area/rooms in the hotel, but they make an effort to keep it clean. The continental breakfast was, eh, a typical continental breakfast. Overall the experience was really marred by the computers being down and the delayed check-in. I understand it wasn't the fault of the girl at the desk, but having no back-up and making customers wait so long to check-in is a key part of making a poor experience. My better half would have given a lower rating than I as she was really tired and frustrated by the check-in experience, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say that was a rare occurrence. Don't get me wrong. The price is great. That is what drew us in. Maybe don't stay here for anything romantic. The hotel is within 20 - 30 minutes of a lot of the attraction which is great. I went for my anniversary and it was just disgusting. The parking lot was a nightmare, pot holes the size of craters. I dented my front bumper because I didn't realize there were so many holes. When we went to check in not bad, the staff was overall friendly... no problems there. We got up to our room via the stairs. The stairs had so much dust and dirt on them. The paint on the wall was unfinished and there were exposed wires where a light should have been. At the top of the stairs was a half eaten muffin that remained there until we left. (GROSS) I did not see a single staff member clean the entire time I was there. They did have a free breakfast that wasn't too bad. Doesn't quite fill you up, but still nice. OUR ROOM: King size bed with a Jetted tub. Very big. The hotel inside is non-smoking.... My room smelled terrible. Smelled liked someone smoked 4 packs a day then tried to cover the smell with cheap air freshener. There were 4 small lumpy pillows that needed to be thrown out on the bed. (Wish I would have brought my own.) The sheets were clean and comfy at least :) The Jetted tub: Looked so freaking pretty and romantic. It was heart shaped!! . I found a few hairs in the tub. There were soap marks in it where the water level was at one point. My husband had to clean it out so we could use it.There was also duct tape covering a hole that was supposed to make a few of the jets (that didn't wok) work. Very frustrating. . The worst part was there wasn't a shower or another area to get clean. The toilet was in the room with the jetted tub. No big deal.... except the was a curtain for one of the walls next to the tub. So when we we not using the tub, and had to use the toilet there was zero privacy. I did not like that at all. I like my privacy in the bathroom for those purposes. Then there was the tv that had like 12 channels... no big deal, but the signal was shady so watching tv wasn't very fun. Especially since we could hear the 4 guys having some sort of a party in the room directly next to us. We could hear there full conversation. That dove me crazy. I don't want to know that people can hear me let alone hear other people The first day we went out, someone had thrown trash on the roof of our car. Seriously, that was the last straw. We were not happy at all by the amount of empty beer bottles and trash everywhere in the parking lot. Made me uneasy. Wish they had a bigger staff to actually clean. I would recommend that you spend a little extra money on a different hotel that prides themselves in cleaning and appearance of their hotel. This was probably the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. You don't have to listen to this... I just wish I would have read more reviews so I could have enjoyed my stay. read more

We needed a place to stay on our way home from Scranton PA. Price was high for quality. Was ok. Lock system on side entrance doors did not lock and remained opened as we walked in and out with luggage. Beds looked nice. Some grease on curtain and shelf in tv cabinet had something on it so had not been cleaned. Breakfast was free and ok. They have signs they are remodelling. if they clean the smell out of the air unit, fix the side locks, I would consider giving a chance again to see if they have improved read more

Based on previous reviews, I was very apprehensive about staying here. However, me and my family took a chance. What you should know is that they are in the midst of renovations. I found the staff hospitable and welcoming. We only stayed for one night but it was not the horror show others describe. Oh, man does this place need to be shut down!!! First thing I noticed when getting out of my car was a huge (and I'm not exaggerating) hole on the side of the building. You can clearly see the hole and the pieces of wood and tarp they put up to cover it from where you check-in. There are potholes all over the parking lot and the little house and other rooms (?) across the parking lot look very creepy. Our room looked disgusting and the safety lock on our door was broken. I did not feel safe there at all and did not sleep well. I was hesitant to take a shower because the bathroom had stains and hair. There was also a moldy smell literally in every part of the hotel. PLEASE do yourself a favor and spend that extra money and stay at a much nicer and safer hotel. read more

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Our room was filthy. My kids turned on the a/c because the room was warm only to find out that there were smashed cheese doodles in the air vents that caused the room to smell like a stinky feet gymnasium. There was pizza cheese on the carpet and some sort of blood stains on the shower curtain. The gym consisted of a few pieces of broken equipment with empty snack bags and crumbs on the floor. We didn't even attempt to go in the pool seeing how dirty the actual hotel was. And certainly did not stick around to see how the free breakfast was. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I can't not emphasize enough warning about this hotel. They are a scam that steals your money! We were there for two nights and had an email confirmation with a price but when we went to check in the price was doubled. We complained and questioned the personnel but they were rude and told us there was nothing they can do and we would be charged anyway regardless of if we stayed because the cancellation time had lapsed. The hotel it's self is gross. Dirty, run down, holes in the sheets and carpets, the pool looked like a swamp!! Their email is fake so you can't contact them. The front desk people make dozens of excuses. Do yourself a favor stay far far away from this place. read more

First I walk in with my two kids and I hear the guy in the front arguing about a room a member got that smelled like cigarettes. Next thing I'm in a room that wouldn't you know. ... smells like a nicotine factory. They gave me a different room but how comepletey disseespectful. I have a 4 and 8 yo. Anyway. The room was filthy I the corners of the floor were cracked up with dust dirt n hair. The air conditioner was disgusting they didn't even try to clean it. Never came ant took the trash once on my 3 day stay. The pool water. Haha , so philthy it looked like someone took a bath in it and left the water. Horrible customer service and absolutely discussing! We had put our belongings into the safe, after going for a swim we went back to go get our belongings and tthe safe would not open. No, it was not because we were putting in the wrong code, it was due to the fact that they purchased cheap safe and there was a malfunction. We asked the front desk for assistance and they sent up the maintence guy in which he had no idea what to do. The maintence guy decided to call the manager. The managers response was that he will deal with it in the morning. We told him absolutely no. We need our wallet and other valuables. He hung up the phone on us. We called a locksmith and they were able to talk us through on how to reset the code. The next day, it was pouring and there was a leak in the ceiliing. Our belongings were under the leak, so of course our stuff got wet. Their only solution was to switch rooms. They switched our rooms to a dirty room. Attach you will find a video of the leak and a picture of how dirty the desk was. At the end of the night the manager thought it was nice of him to go buy us a $7 bottle of wine that came from 7/11. He thought this would solve everything but it obviously did not. If he was trained the right way and knew how to speak to people things would have not got this bad. DO NOT STAY HERE! Gave 5 stars because your paying for what you get. There wasn't anything wrong with this hotel, it was clean and in a good location of attractions. The only downside is it is an older hotel and outdated, but it did the justice of allowing my boyfriend and I a place to sleep while we adventure into the poconos for the weekend. read more

Well the bed was comfortable, and it was reasonable priced. But stop there. The sink in the bathroom was broken the vent in the bathroom was dirty, stains on the toilet, the bathroom sink had a huge crack in it . The bedroom... stain on the ceiling,stains on the curtain, and the tv reception wasnt the greatest. The parking lot had a pile of broken lamps in one spot and there are some creepy bungalows also in the parking lot. The outer door to where our rooms were didnt lock and the inner did but it was temperamental and it looked like it had been pried open. It was a place to stay, but I think the owners need to take more pride in the place and it would be a big improvement. read more

My family booked three rooms and I had the best of the lot. All rooms dirty beyond what's expected during renovation. My shower the only one that delivered more than a trickle. Elevator floor so dirty that my shoes stuck. One room had a partly eaten apple laying in the corner! Breakfast not bad and seemed to be fresh. read more

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!! We checked in and the first room was had an incredible odor, so we went to the front desk, and the front desk extended us a different room. That room was odorous and disheveled as well. The front desk offered us keys to several other rooms we checked the third room and the pillow and bed sheets had stains on them (see photos). This was simply not acceptable, so we returned the keys and checked out. The manager would not refund our money even though the sign near front desk reads, "100% Satisfaction Guarantee." Please, please, please think twice before booking this hotel. Save yourself the grief. read more
