(Yeah, somebody should probably make a separate Yelp listing for the golf course versus roping it in with the rest of the place but, whatever) Ok, it's been a few weeks since playing here and the details are quite fuzzy, but here's a few points: First, every course should have something like the below on their website. It's a must read before playing here. Every hole fully broken down by yardage/tee box locations/hazards/distances to the green from hazards & landing areas, etc. You're flying blind & insane to not look at it before playing. mountairycasino.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Golf_Course_Tour_R1.pdf The best way I can describe this course would be to say that every hole has something going on and you, IMHO, cannot DeChambeau it here by just gripping/ripping and seeing what'll happen next. Let me help in advance that what'll happen next is usually going to involve something with your ball being lost in sand/water/trees and a high ass score. Yes, every hole has some combination of extra narrow fairway, lined with trees, water, multiple traps, water & traps, healthy elevation up or down, blind dog leg, etc. Even the "easy" ones, have a twist that's not in your favor. I'm not saying this place is impossible, but it does require thought/strategy and if you have it (I know I don't) some ability to be a measured shot maker. Unlike your garden-variety municipal course where the holes just go back and forth and a hook or a slice turns into simply playing out of the next fairway, here, if you're not straight or in the fairway consistently, usually you're screwed. The three signature holes to me would be #17, #13 and #14. #17 is a short par 3 where you hit from an exaggeratedly high tee location and the entire main resort/casino building is below/in front of you. #13 is a par 5 that's about 480 but you got trees to the right and left off the tee and around 250 yards out there is a large patch of waste land and then water you need to either lay up in front of or try to bomb it over to get to the other half of the fairway. #14 is my favorite because you tee it up right next to their sewage treatment plant. Nothing says ambiance better than a big fat nose full of summer steamer when you're waiting for people in front of you. Pace of play was so-so. They have signage and all sorts of crap out there about it, but no one is enforcing anything. We played on an early weekday afternoon and had no one in front of us until #13. Two hours to play 1-12 and two more hours to play 13-18. That's BS. The only real negative is that they push their middle of the round food/drink stop a bit too timeshare hard. Each of the three staff members we encountered "reminded" us about it and they have a large sign after #8 re-reminding you that you can call your order in to pick it up after #9. Was mid, room was ok. But we had blood stains on the back of the pillow case, we threw that pillow on the floor.The room was 80 degrees when we walked in. The bathroom lights flickered and kept going out. And the shower head leaked, and the other shower head did not work. The fans don't work in the bathrooms. One of the towels we went to use for body to dry off after the shower had brown stains on it, don't even want to know or think of what it was because it was close to being used on my face. Found a hotel maid/cleaner, and had her give me another towel. But like seriously, these are things that should all be double checked before renting a room out to someone. We got charged 335 for a Sunday into Monday, and honestly we should have been discounted or given a voucher for another night or something. Because that's just crazy. read more

I'm really surprised to see that this resort has received low scores in the past. This hotel was really clean, had the proper upgraded amenities and EVERYONE I encountered was pleasant and helpful. The food options were great and the property was easy to navigate. The property reminded me of a well maintained Vegas property. I will definitely be staying at this property again when I'm in the area. The only negative was the smoke smell as you walked through the casino. The hotel provides a mostly pleasant experience. We aren't much for casinos but found the location convenient so decided to give it a try. Arrival was a bit rough as the valet lanes were completely blocked by large buses. Instead of being helpful or explaining anything, the valet was rude and told us we couldn't leave our car parked in the entry/departure lane. We were simply looking for a place to allow the bellhop to offload our vehicle but no one explained where we were meant to go. Note that the valet is complimentary which is nice. Free self park is also available on the casino lot. Luckily the check in was smooth and the folks at the desk were pleasant. On room entry, we found the room to be clean and spacious. The bathroom was especially nice given its generous size and ample stock of toiletries. The beds were comfortable as well. Drawbacks in the room include lack of mini fridge and microwave. They will provide one on request, but charge $25/day. A bit steep. The room was also frigid. When we arrived, the AC was set to 63 degrees. We of course turned it up but after each housekeeper cleaned, the thermostat was set back to sub zero temps! Final drawback was that the room did have faint odors of cigarettes despite being a non smoking room. It became less noticeable the longer we were in the room but never quite dissipated. Our favorite thing about the hotel itself was the lovely golf course view from our room and the onsite hiking trail. The trail is really lovely and well kept. It runs alongside a stream and is set back from the road nestled in the loveliest trees. So beautiful this time of year with the changing foliage. I wouldn't be opposed to future stays but would likely explore some other options in the Poconos first. The onsite restaurants were letdowns in our opinion but we did enjoy some offsite eateries nearby. I would call this an above average experience. This place is horribly smoke filled. To the point where we spent our two days there trying to figure out avoiding the 2nd floor entirely. We don't consider ourselves overly sensitive. We have been to many casinos in Vegas and Atlantic City, we have also been to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. We have never seen even a fraction of the air pollution inside as we did at Mt. Airy. It is hard to escape the smoke. We first had a drink in the glass bar which is right in the middle of the casino. After one drink we both felt unwell (headache, a bit nauseous). The bar tender said the conditions are the same all the time. Weirdly, most of the time we did not have anyone smoking within close proximity yet the smell is horrible. Even in the small "no smoking" area is filled with smoke. The only place you can find refuge is Bistecca because it has a door closing off the pollution. We wound up staying at the bar there and having dinner which was very good! In the morning we tried Guy Fieri's for breakfast. We hoped in the morning the smoke level would be down but somehow it was just as bad. Guy's restaurant as well as the Sushi restaurant and the buffet are all open to the casino and therefore have very polluted air as well. For breakfast we asked to be seated in the far back and we made it through the meal. We returned later for a happy hour drink and left after 1 drink again, beginning to feel unwell. We wound up back at Bistecca for drinks and dinner. It is truly the only place you can avoid the pollution on the second floor. Everything below the second floor is okay and the air is substantially better. There aren't many options. We went to the pool bar for a drink but it is not a great place to hang out if you are not using the pool. It is shocking to us that Mount Airy meets health standards. It was a very expensive stay and we were terribly disappointed. read more

The overall experience here was very disappointing. The service felt extremely rigid and inflexible. Even though I am clearly over 21 and had no issue entering the casino, I was told that I must sign up for a player card in order to be served a drink. On top of that, I was not allowed to order another drink until the previous one was completely finished -- even when the glass was almost empty. I understand that policies exist, but the way they are enforced here feels overly procedural and lacking basic consideration for guest experience. There was no flexibility at all, which made the situation unnecessarily frustrating and unpleasant. In addition, the poker room was nearly empty, and the pace of dealing was very slow. Combined with the rigid service policies, the overall atmosphere felt dull and unwelcoming. Overall, the experience here felt poorly managed and not guest-friendly. Been coming here for years. As an active player card member my experience is always first rate. Rooms are super clean, staff is asked very accommodating, and service is always worn a smile. The casino is big. Your not packed on top of one another. Handpays are always quick. Food selection is good. The buffet is ok. But I like it. Comps are good and offered every month to regular cards members. Indoor and outdoor pool for year round enjoyment. Spa and massage are first rate. While the staff were friendly enough and the lobby looked interesting, you are welcomed with the smell of smoke as your enter. Even though there are "no smoking" signs posted, not sure on how it is enforced. The smoke takes over the entire hotel. You get some relief in your room. They could loosen up those machines so people could win domestic money to take home. They offer no real drinks while you are playing. You could die of thirst on there. They don't even ask you if you want something to drink. When I finally did catch up with a young lady she said the only serve house liquor. What? I never drink house liquor it will make you sick to your stomach. I'm sure in the high roller rooms they don't serve them house liquor as much money as they lose in those rooms. The casino is small not much to choose from. Guy F restaurants a great choice to eat at. The food was amazing. The buffet had the same food from the night before dinner for lunch the next day nothing different the meat looked dry. I went to the pool and was praying they had a hot tub no hot tub and the water was freezing. That's all I have to say about that. read more

Easy check-in, bring your ID to enter the casino part. I was in the tower that didn't have the coffee shop. You'll need Id to walk through the casino to get to the other lobby where the coffee stand is. The slot machines were fun. I saw a guy win $800 at one of them!! My first time in Poconos. Get the rooms on the top floor. The rooms have vaulted ceilings makes it nice n spacious. The view is amazing. Beautiful landscape. Free valet parking, the decor in the lobby looks like it's Christmas year round! I heard the hotel has been renovated. The rooms are impeccably clean. It's still COVID pandemic so no room cleaning unless you ask. The hotel is strictly no one under 21 on the casino floor. The restaurants are on the casino floor. They call a chaperone to escort the minor to the restaurant. There is no kids arcade, so I don't think hotel caters to family w kids. The pool is a must go. Get there early n safe yr chair. Bc it gets packed. The bar is open. You can get free water at the bar. The restaurants have good food. il Mulino, Lucky 8 m, Guy Fiery and food court. See my separate each restaurant review. There's also a Starbucks. The slot machines have social distance observed, either every other machine on or separately by Plexy glass. I didn't play slots too much. I don't gamble a lot. We booked our stay before they became an adults only resort. The hotel room was extremely spacious and clean! There is no refrigerator because it is stocked minibar. The lobby was nicely decorated in festive holiday decor. Parking is pretty awful in the winter. You have to walk very far after self parking. It is made so you will valet! read more

I didn't realize it was a casino, but loved it we did not gamble however, it was a smoking casino, so there is a lot of cigarette smell inside the hotel. However, when going to your room, you didn't smell the cigarettes at all. The rooms are very spacious. We stayed on a Sunday night in early December in the lake view king room. We both really liked this room for the serene lookout at the lake and the lit up trees dotting the entrance. The room offered the following amenities: a Keurig with four K-cups provided, a safe, ironing board, alarm clock, toiletries, and an ice bucket. I was a little disappointed that there were no bathrobes in our room, not sure if this is the case with all the rooms here. The king bed was very conducive to a great night of rest, and the pillows were very comfortable but on the softer side, which I personally prefer. We did go down and use the heated pool during our stay. We were both let down that the temperature of the pool water was lukewarm at best. As for the dining options, they have three: Bistecca by Il Mulino, Guy Fieri's Mt. Pocono Kitchen, and Lucky 8. We didn't try any of these during our stay. read more

I was here for a work event in the convention center of the resort. I ended up staying 2 nights in the hotel and it's got a great vibe to it. Vegas feels when you enter the lobby with high ceilings both in rooms and hotel. The staff was friendly. The elevators are fast. The rooms we're spacious. Wish they had a refrigerator and/or microwave in the rooms. This resort is also not kid friendly. Had to request an escort everywhere you go even if it's straight to the restaurants or through the casino to your car. Another downside is the parking lot is on the other side of the casino, so if you're staying at the resort you have to walk all the way across the casino floor to get to your car. However valet is included in your stay. All in all it was a nice stay for me and very enjoyable. read more

I was pretty disappointed with this place, to be honest. I love casinos so my husband booked this trip as a surprise but the service was pretty terrible. I suspect they are short staffed but it was unfortunate. We tried to hit the casino but most of the tables were closed so the ones that we're open were full (only like 6-8 tables). So we tried to go to the bar for a drink to wait but there was no one was there. So we went to get a drink from one of the restaurants, but gave up and left after waiting for service for a good 10-15 minutes. My husband booked this resort even though we are not gamblers. I would say the reviews are accurate about the smoke, but it's a casino in Pennsylvania, so the casino will be smoky. I didn't really notice the smell anywhere else except a tiny bit in the lobby, but it wasn't bad. The room was so pretty! We loved it and the bed was soooo comfortable. My sweet hubby booked a coupled massage and that was really terrific as well! The staff throughout the hotel and at the spa were really friendly and professional. Free parking was a huge plus! Stayed here for 2 weeks for work nearby during the winter. Valet parking is very convenient; especially in the winter months. However, if you want to park your car on your own, the lot is far away & you will have to walk through the smoky casino to get to your room. The room was beautiful, clean & a great place to stay for 2 weeks. The minibar was a pain, as I cleared it out to refrigerate things & then got charged for things I didn't drink which ultimately got removed but was a pain to deal with. Lovely gym - definitely be sure to work out here & there is spa & also a pool where you can get drinks but the bar closes up very early. Not too many restaurant choices - we ate either at Guy Fieri's which was casual & hit or miss or the expensive Italian place. That place was excellent but pricey! My 1 star off is for the smoky casino - even when you walk the perimeter to get to the restaurant or to the self-parking lot, you can smell it - yuk! read more

Three stars. There's a few things off with this place. It is beautiful and our room was very clean however the curtains barely closed all the way so it was hard to keep the room dark to sleep. Also I would put a shirt over the clock every night because man that thing was bright! Besides those things, be prepared to plan meals or going to eat before your hungry. The market which makes the most sense for breakfast is closed and the pizza shop serves breakfast but they don't open till 9 so if you're an early riser.... there's always Guy's but you'll sit forever before you get served. I understand the labor shortage because of covid but of all of the places we've been to in the Poconos, they were the most staffed! To put it in perspective, the pool attendant who was by himself was managing the pool bar and the space with cabana parties better than this restaurant that had about the same amount of guests in it as that pool did. And lastly, no room service for food? After ordering food to go from Guy's one night thinking it was our only food option for a small bite (we had already had pizza) we were told that the hotel does in fact do room service, it's on the TV. We couldn't find it. And lastly one night while in the casino I used the bathroom to find it smelled like smoke and there were ashes in the toilet. I understand there's nothing I guess the resort can do about that but maybe check your smoke detectors? Overall.... would I stay here again? Not sure, the pool was great, the valet was, our dinner at Bistecca was, but the communication between guest and hotel of what is available is unclear. read more

We visited Mount Airy resort for the weekend. There were plenty of restaurants, activities, and the casino itself to keep us busy for the entire time. Something that stands out about the resort is that everything was within a single building- if we wanted to get from our room to the casino, we would hop on the elevator and be on the casino floor within two minutes. Hungry? We had a choice of about five restaurants within about a minute walk of each other, without having to go outside. There was even a Starbucks. There was also a spa where you could get a massage (make an appointment because it gets booked very quickly) and the highlight of the whole building- a pool with a bar/restaurant. The food and drinks there were delicious. The room was beautiful as well- my only complaint was that the room, as well as most of the casino, smelled like cigarette smoke. Most of our clothes after the weekend, even ones that we hadn't worn, had to be washed because the smell stayed with them. read more

Stayed for two nights. According to website, must be 21 and older, which I appreciate for my getaway. Lovely spa, and beautiful pool. Clean and spacious rooms. Only thing is, the second hand smoke is TERRIBLE. It leaks down from the casino into the beautiful "smoke free" lobby. If you are sensitive to second hand smoke, I would avoid this place, or wear a mask when you leave your room. SERIOUSLY. Gave me a headache. Could not even walk through to go get coffee. Had to walk outside and around the resort to get to the Starbucks just to avoid the smoke. Also could not enjoy the restaurants because they are accessed through the casino. They lost so much of my money that way because I love to eat and drink! PA still allows smoking in casinos. I feel terrible for the workers here who have to be near the lobby and casino. read more

This resort doesn't have the best reviews and I'm shocked. This was my first time visiting and I was very impressed. Stayed there for a few nights as I was going skiing in the area. The rooms were spotless, I wish I would have taken a picture before the bed got messy but you get the idea. The pillows were a little too fluffy, so if you have neck problems I'd suggest you bring your own. The bathroom was super clean and the shower water was extra hot! Due to covid restrictions, they are not doing the regular house keeping service but if you need extra towels ect you can call the front desk and they'll bring it up to your room. I do have one negative thing to say, I asked for a late check out and was told that it would be fine. At around 9am someone came banging on my door to clean the room. I thought the banging was unnecessary. They have a couple of restaurants in the hotel by the casino. Service was amazing! Would definitely go back! read more

This place is beautiful. We have stayed here twice in a year. The spa, pool and hotel rooms all felt luxurious but yet affordable. Pool has an outdoor/indoor combination where you can swim from one to the other. The spa has sauna and rainforest type showers. The massages and facials are professionally done and won't break the bank. They have a beautiful lake right out front where we walked and saw some ducks and swans in the water swimming. Lovely in the morning with a nice cup of Starbucks coffee. Valet is complimentary and quick. They give you unlimited free water bottles at the front desk. Employees are warm and inviting. The clientele is mainly older folks but it's also very family friendly and young people seem to enjoy themselves as well. If you have anyone under 21 you will need an escort to the restaurants, Starbucks, and self parking as minors cannot be on the casino floor without a staff member. which was kind of annoying but that's the law. We enjoyed our time, felt comfortable and relaxed. We will be returning a third time. read more

So the place is updated and has a few food options. The pool is nice and has decent food and drink pricing. All the staff we encountered was great. Kids must be escorted to and from ALL restaurants as they are ALL on the casino floor. That was a bit annoying. We were also informed that there was a curfew for kids. These things weren't apparent when booking. There is plenty to do at nearby hotels and businesses, BUT, it would have been great to have an arcade or something else in the hotel. read more

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend for our Poconos get away. All in all I have no complaints and we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the beds were super comfy. The cable did give us an issue the first night as we were relaxing before bed but a quick call to the front desk and a reset of something on their end fixed it. We had a left over pizza that was also thrown away which was not cool and there was no mini fridge. My wife has a medicine that needs to be refrigerated and they offered to delivery a mini fridge, awesome. Well it took 2 calls to the front desk and like 6 hours for this thing to appear and it was big enough for like 4 cans of soda. It worked for the meds but dont plan on storing anything else in it. My wife spent a few hours in the spa, her masseuse was kind of an odd one. Part creepy\pervy she said, would not stop talking and used some offensive language. My wife is pretty timid so she didn't want to complain. Contrary to that the woman who did her nails was like fort knox and wouldn't say a word. So yeah, skip the spa here. Next up the Casino! Was pretty typical all in all. A variety of games, most around 50 cents a minimum to play. Pay outs were a bit less than most casinos I've been to but not bad and higher rollers seemed to be doing better than those who bet the minimum. Waitresses are VERY VERY hard to flag down to get a drink from and if you go the bar you have to pay, doesn't make any sense. Next up the buffet, there was 1 dessert station, a carved meat station, a soup and salad section, a general hot food section and a section that changed nightly it looked like. We went friday night which was sea food night. Most of the shrimp was ok, crab was super over cooked and impossible to get the meat out of. Like seriously and hour to get the meat out of a handful of crabs. We also had to wait in line for an hour at 7 pm and big spenders get to cut the line. Was not impressed. We also ate breakfast at Guys Fieri's restaurant who we are both fans of, they said he does stop by but only every few years which kind of sucked. It's more or less just his name on the place. Food was great but over portioned esp with no fridge in the hotel room. They would be better off if they cut service size and price by at least 25%. Saturday was gorgeous so we hung out by the pool. We did go in Friday but it seems this place can afford hundreds of expensive games but not to heat their pool? Very disappointing. Saturday was warm enough that the non heated pool wasn't an issue and we enjoyed the swim as well as snack and some drinks from the bar. Kind of over prices but ok. Valets were great, check in was relatively ok. No free spins for join players club. All in all, it was a resounding OK. I don't think I would go again, it was 5 hours from where I live and the over all feel of the casino was that everything was just a bit too expensive or too underwhelming. read more

I am currently UNFORTUNATELY still sitting in their hotel room as I write this review. If it weren't for my sleeping son, I'd be gone! My husband and I wanted to have a relaxing time for our anniversary and we found this place online and decided to give it a try despite some of the reviews we had read. What a mistake! We drove over 3 hours to get here and have had the worst time ever! Because we had a kid under 21, we had to be escorted EVERY TIME we wanted to leave the building, go to eat or come back to our room from outside. We couldn't simply walk from a room, downstairs and 50 feet to a restaurant. We would have to show ID, wait for security, get a bracelet put on our son, then get escorted to a restaurant, then escorted back once we were done. And that was the least of the problem. We decided to go into their pool to relax...well, there was a PILE OF CRAP in the pool (see picture)..the worst part was that there was security standing in eyes view, only a few feet from it and did nothing! I spoke to a manager who nonchalantly apologized (as if this was something that happened all of the time) and offered to refund the resort fee. We wanted to go elsewhere as the pool was one of the biggest reasons we chose this hotel but nobody else close by had a pool close to the same amount of $ as this one in such short notice. Since staying was our best (and I use that term loosely) option, we took the offer and decided to stay the one more night we already had booked. Bad mistake!! My husband decided to give the casino a try later that same night..when he went to take money from the bank account it said he had insufficient funds..he checked his account and the hotel had not only not refunded the resort fee, but they OVERCHARGED him and took more than double the fee out than they were suppose to. He went to speak with a manager who again acted as if they had done nothing wrong. The manager would not give him money back immediately. Only said "they had credited it" and he has to "wait for his bank" to put the money back which could take up to 10 days. A MULTI MILLION DOLLAR company and they don't even offer to give him his money back immediately that they charged wrongly!! I am positive they would not allow someone to reach across a table and grab some money and tell them "I will give it back later, but you just have to wait" like they did to us. IT IS THEFT!!! Now the account has no money in it and we have to somehow feed our son and drive nearly 200mi! Absolutely disgusting all around. We will never be back here again and urge others to avoid the pool area as it's clearly not monitored well...and definitely use cash if you want to come to this CRAPPY resort! We stayed last night for our first time, and we were pleasantly surprised. The excellent customer service started the moment the valet attendant opened our door and greeted us and refused a tip, called the bellhop who was there in a flash. He was full of useful information for our many questions. Check in was again delightful and pain free. We were running late and they kindly moved our reservations up an hour so we could unwind and relax. We booked the King Suite and was well worth the few extra dollars. It was extremely spacious, decorated to perfection and had all the amenities to make us feel we were at home. The bathroom was oversized to say the least and the shower had great water pressure as well as many heads in shower. They also had bathrobes much to our delight. We opened a bottle of bubbly and began to unwind. It was difficult to leave the room. We had dinner at Red's, we were disappointed in the wait, 20 minutes, for our bottle of Prosecco, that was a bummer. Our servers were kind, just the wait in between everything was a let down. The food was delicious once we ate. The casino floor was busy, a very casual atmosphere. We like to dress up when out but sneakers and jeans work here too. We were able to hike the golf course this am as well since it does not officially open until April first. We will definitely be back for the hotel accommodations! We look forward to trying the spa and local hiking trails. read more

My friends and I planned a girls weekend. Which included skiing, the spa and lots of drinks. However my younger cousin was under 21, 20 to be exact and she had to get escorted throughout the resort. The experience was kind of funny but after a while it got annoying. But we understand the legal implications. The resort itself is beautiful. Came for an overnight stay with my hubby, for my birthday. Very nice. Stayed in the king suite. Beautiful and spacious. Immaculately kept, very clean. Huge bathroom fit for a king and queen :) Pool is gorgeous indoor and outdoor. Everyone very nice and friendly. Arrived at 11:30( check in is at 3) clerk said she would text us when room was ready, received a text within an hour. So far no complaints would definately come back. read more

Very nice room for the price! As rooms go, you won't find a nicer place in the area. I've included pictures. Parking is by valet only. It will only set you back the tip and a few extra minutes. If you're coming for gaming, the casino is all slots. No tables. Poker and blackjack are electronic only. I didn't play. Being in town for business, I was quite disappointed in the dining options at this resort. I went to dinner at 8:30 PM, and there were only two places open -- Diner or Italian food. Both were understaffed and mediocre quality. For more options, the chains are just 20 min away. read more

The hotel is the best in the area. whenever I have company or associates I make them stay here The rooms are clean. Service was above average Very nice room for the price! Sad to say, but this entire place is simply a facade. The hotel lobby is beautiful, the rooms look nice, the casino is clean, the pool is large...but... At first appearance, everything looks great, however, just below the surface, just below the shiny surfaces you can see they have cut of corners EVERYWHERE! Rooms - sleek design of modern romantic, but the mattresses are hard, the pillows low quality, there's even a very low limit on the hot water in the shower so that at max it's just warm. Pool: big beautiful indoor/outdoor pool. Looks great but...Positioned so poorly that the outdoor section is in the shade by 4 pm. NO hot tub. They built in "whirlpools" that look like hot tubs but they're not. No saunas. They say it's st 82 degrees, but it certainly doesn't feel that way. Spa/salon - lovely exterior design but the hair salon is selling Paul Mitchell products. These were great in the 1980s but are now currently available at Walmart. Why would you go to what looks like an upscale salon to use these products. Food - it appears there are many choices, but they are totally overpriced with the exception of the Buffet. Casino - well-lighted, nice organization around a central bar but there are two fatal flaws - 1) the machines are mostly ancient (I think the last time I saw a 30 line Cleopatra was about ten years ago). I can honestly say this is the most outdated casino I've been to in a very long time. I love playing slots and do so often, but won't come here again. It's "knock offs" (things you've never heard of before) and old machines that should have been switched out long ago. A good third of this casino is way past an appropriate playing age and I'm not talking about the classic dollar machines. I'm talking about old IGT machines. That company became defunct in 2015. No idea why there are rows and rows of that stuff. 2) There is absolutely ZERO live music (played live or DJ-ed). I'm not one that's into the "club scene", but as this place is so remote, you would expect that there would be some form of mid-week nightlife. NOPE! Just canned 70s/80's music over and over. I heard Philadelphia Freedom 4 times today. As they are obviously catering to the older crowd (so old the IGT semi "neat"), would it kill them to put a live pianist near the bar? Some form of entertainment would have kept me playing longer. Golf - lovely well maintained course at reasonable green fees - but NO driving range. Today's route started with a 5 par uphill hole. How can one do that without taking a few swings first? It almost as though they had to cut costs while building it and some non-golf playing executive said to lose the driving range. Overall, this place is a bust. It doesn't take long to see through the surface level of this place and become quickly disappointed with the cost savings. read more

My husband and i spent the day here and loved it. Ate at Guys (expensive though) and played some wheel of fortune slots and black jack. Scott my dealer at the blackjack table was charming and chatty. read more
