Stayed at Hotel Lloyd for 9 days while visiting Rome. The hotel itself is in a quieter area, which was safe and clean. There are restaurants nearby, a Mc Donalds, and a local market. Other than that, it's mostly residential and you have to take a taxi ($10) or the metro ($3) to the touristy areas. Although it seems like the metro station is close, it's kind of a far walk of about 15-20 min, which isn't convenient late at night. The rooms were clean, the TVs were in Italian only, and the convenient, free breakfast was really good- eggs, meats, cereals, fruit, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again if I couldn't stay in the city center. Overall- a nice place. read more
