Came here today for breakfast with my mom it was a complete disaster. No forks no spoons no butter food was awful. Sausage was frozen bacon hard as rock. Eggs were tasteless $.70 for 2 . Hotel LBI definitely lives up to the hype as we watched it being built up and waited for the grand opening. Lovely rooftop bar- large enough for both the bar scene on one side as well as a relaxed lounge area with games (cornhole, life size checkers) on the other. Dined at the poolside cafe and enjoyed the clam pizza. Beautiful hotel lobby with a bar and cozy seating area. Has a resort vibe, with beachy decor. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. Rooftop bar is great! Fun atmosphere, with live music, fire pits, games (shuffleboard!). It feels like you are on a cruise ship. Nice cocktails, nice staff. It's great to have another choice for an evening out in Ship Bottom. The only downside is that it closes so early, 10 pm on a Saturday. But they did offer you could go to a couple of their other bars afterwards. read more

Was there for a wedding and the concierge was fantastic in pointing us in the right direction, but the layout of the wedding space on the roof was really disjointed and there was no privacy! While the bartenders (both deck and during the wedding) were outstanding the waitstaff was horrendous! Not only did many forget our courses, the staff on the deck stood around (3-4 in blue shirts) while we got our own drinks etc. The wedding reception room is gorgeous but there is NO WAY there should have been 180 people in there. Not only were we stuffed in so much so that we could barely walk around the guests, but by halfway through the place was steaming hot (those who have weddings in July beware). The worst part is the acoustics- even the young folks attending said it was too loud. Again beautifully decorated, with a delightful concierge, and fantastic bartenders, but if you're a bride think twice! read more

I was just here for a wedding reception the other day and everything was perfect. The hotel is very nice everything looks bran new. The food was amazing! The host / wedding coordinator "Petra" was great! All the staff had an excellent presence and were very professional especially with the changes due to Covid-19. We booked this hotel for a long awaited weekend. We had heard so much about it that we were looking forward to our vacation. However, to start off, you don-not get what you get what you pay for. This is a dressed up beach motel. The guests are loud, there were kids playing ball at midnight on the hallways, not just one night, but 2 nights on a row. There is no water pressure, the circuit braker kept on going off, even without turning lights. So, make reservations at your own risk!!! read more

Had a beautiful birthday event for my husband. Donna (event planner), was helpful and informative. We traded lot of phone calls and she helped me every step of the way. Food package choices were great. A little pricey but worth every penny you spend!! Beef was nicely flavored and lobster was fresh. The New England clam chowder was delish (sprinkled sea salt, made me return twice)!!! Cheese cake key lime in the mason jars as our chosen dessert was my favorite. Drinks were constantly flowing, staff was just amazing and attentive (thank you Petra). This hotel has become our new family favorite! We love everything about hotel LBI. From the staff, to the rooms, to the pool... everything is immaculate and 5 star. The staff go above and beyond to make all guests feel welcomed. We spend most of our time in the heated salt water pool. And after hours of swimming, it is so nice to have a clean room and comfy bed to rest in! Would highly recommend for families or date nights! read more

I came with 10 friends to stay at Hotel LBI and we had the BEST experience ever. I called the day before to ask if there was a space one of my friends could utilize to teach her class in and they gave us a room that typically would charge a fee for for free. The staff was SO friendly, so helpful, and attentive. There was a slight mixup with our rooms and they upgraded us to two beautiful bridal suites. They were apologetic and handled the situation politely and accommodated us immediately. 10/10 recommend read more

Disappointed... Made a reservation to stay at Hotel LBI for W-F July 7-10. Our family loves LBI and was looking forward to our beach vacation. June 26 (11 days before our stay): family situation forced a cancellation of our trip so I called hotel to cancel our reservation. Staff wouldn't entertain any sort of flexibility on charging me $630 even though I couldn't use my reservation. Left my name and number and was told a general manager would call. July 4: received a reminder email of my upcoming stay. July 5: called again to find my reservation had not yet been cancelled. Was able to leave a voicemail for the general manager asking for a call back. It is now July 8th. Have received no call. Disappointed that this hotel appears to be nearly sold out and they plan to keep my $630 and not even hear me out. If you're planning on staying on LBI, I recommend renting a beach house as you'll get more for your money. read more

My family stood at the Hotel LBI last weekend for a wedding. The place and ambience looks great both outside and inside. Our rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The lobby area is well decorated and there are multiple lounges and restaurants including a Roof Top lounge. They have a world class Spa onsite and their location is very near the water. Even though we were here in the 'off season' the service was top notch. I want to especially thank 'Ally' at the Front Desk for helping us with directions and hotel information. This was our first stay at Hotel LBI, it won't be our last. I'm sure the room rates are much higher in the summer but there is a old saying 'you get what you pay for'. I was here for a wedding. The hotel itself is very nice. Clean, the rooms spacious, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Late night, a wedding going on and I asked the bar for a cup of coffee. I was charged 4.50 for an 8 oz cup. The following morning while I was getting ready for the wedding I was attending I asked for a late checkout. I was told I could only get to 1130. I asked for the manager telling them I was in the process of getting ready for a 330 wedding and the manager could only extend it till 12. I took anything they were giving me but then I walked past my room at 3 and housekeeping was just cleaning it then. Very VERY pricey and not worth the rudeness of both the hotel staff and management. Would not recommend for guests if you are having a wedding here. The valet guys were great though. I was waiting for an automated survey but never received one. I wonder why read more

Omg you guys 5 star hotel in LBI. It is so clean. Smells amazing. Rooms are suites. It's phenomenal. And ps the manager Julie is fantastic!! Complementary bikes, chairs, beach towels, valet, beach shuttle. The front desk staff is so friendly! The valets are super helpful. Shuttle driver is beyond nice. Do not hesitate. It's incredible. We came for drinks at the outdoor (but covered bar). I read there's a rooftop bar but didn't know it at the time. This review is not to slam the hotel bit to offer constructive criticism since they re brand new! The 3 bartenders were untrained and were on their cell phones showing each other photos etc...cell phones should be put away while you're at work serving drinks. Tks! read more

Hotel LBI you've got a long way to go! I must admit the interior spaces were splendid and the deck bar (roof top)provided an outstanding view of the island complete with water views that we seldom experience. My only gripe was mariachi music playing in between sets from the live band. Really? How about a little hip hop!! After having a drink at the deck bar we went downstairs to grab a bite. Michael was working the bar by himself and he was so busy that I had to place our drink order with him and then carry the drinks from the bar to the table where my friends were seated. I had to do the same thing when ordering food. I had a margarita pie which was fair I did have a delicious mango Bellini. The menu is very very limited, I guess you need to visit their formal restaurant 'Salt' for a more varied offering. It did make for a nice evening but, I think for now I will leave this to the tourists and check it out again sometime in September/October when adjustments have been made. read more

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, staff was courteous and food was good. Valet parking was convenient and there were no issues with the lot being filled to capacity. The roof top bar has great views but I agree that it would be even better with some food options. We didn't utilize the pool as it was pretty crowded. But overall great experience!! read more

Pros - Nice contemporary decor - Comfortable beds - Lots of comfortable seating for cocktails and snacks - Salt restaurant was nice - Access to beach chairs, towels, tags, and van service Cons - All staff need to be retrained by a front of house hospitality expert. We were expected to carry our bags everywhere, load our own car with valet service, front desk didn't inform us of any of the amenities (beach tags, towels, chairs, van ride) - front desk check-in generally was odd as the young person who checked us in could barely make eye contact or figure out how to take our credit card. - rooms were not cleaned beyond the beds being made (no sweeping of floor, no replacement of toiletries or coffee, no trash can emptying)...so was the room really cleaned? - Rooftop bar is great if you can get access to it. Most boutique hotels like this provide a priority access or another way for paying hotel guests to access venues such as rooftop bar. Instead we had too leave the hotel we paid to stay in and wait outside in the parking lot in a long line to get access to roof. If hotel mgmt takes seriously the retraining of their staff (especially in customer experience) and some amenities are provided as priority for hotel guests, this will be a really great hotel. If not, it's better just to rent a house. read more

We booked our room at the Hotel LBI for 3 nights several months in advance; when i called to book they suggested a king bed for my husband and I, which sounded perfect. When we arrived however it turned out that our room was directly abutting/facing/on the same level as the pool, such that we were unable to open the curtains if we wanted any privacy at all. This made the room like a cave. When I complained they said that there were only 3 rooms with king beds and all abutted the pool. I suggested that this major flaw should be mentioned at the time of booking. Other issues included a series of weddings at the hotel during our weekend stay, such that the hotel lobby was actually closed to hotel guests for the sake of the wedding, major street construction directly outside the hotel (also not mentioned on the phone), and a general lack of accommodation of guest needs: no maid service at all, no umbrellas at the front desk to loan guests during a rainstorm, and "no dice" when we asked for a noon checkout rather than 11 am. Finally, the linoleum floor of our room was filthy and I was unable to get into bed after walking barefoot in the room without first wiping down my feet. read more

Staff needs to be properly trained. Rooftop female bartender was rude, didn't get her name. Bathrooms for use one floor below rooftop don't flush well at all.. they need to fix that. Everyone was commenting on it and waiting on line for the 2 stalls for the entire roof. Rooftop is nice but bar blocks the sunset and the walls are 4+ feet tall so you don't get a great clear view. Also it's overlooking the bridge and highway. For the nightly rate they charge you're better off getting a VRBO with ocean or bay views that won't be ruined by cars. Pool is super small too. Location is bad to get to the beach. The whole concept would have been better Oceanside. read more

Had reservation for rooftop at 6:45 pm at Hotel LBI and arrived on time. At the Rooftop, no one greeted us and when we asked one of the hostesses they just said to have a seat and someone will come over for drinks. After sitting 30+ minutes, our party of 4 got up and one last time tried to get a hostess without success. At that point we just left. The building is beautiful but the entire service personal on the rooftop should be fired. They are all too busy with their cell phones. Enough, not going back! read more

Beautiful , clean and well kept hotel but we are disappointed with our stay and others need to be warned!! Came back from a nice dinner on the island only to have no where to park. When we inquired about parking at the desk we were told , sorry we have 2 weddings and it's first come . This is totally expectable when spend almost $400 a night!!! Guest staying at the hotel should have some kind of priority parking. Also the hotel is the main road surrounding ding it and it's VERY noisy! read more

We visited last weekend for a staycation. Alexis at the front desk was incredibly helpful even before we arrived. The room was spacious and the pool, while not huge was perfect. My kids had so much fun. We opted to order in from Salt and delivery was quick. Everything we ordered was tasty. We'd love to visit again soon. read more

The rooftop is a great spot for drinks! But how is it possible that they aren't offering any food at all up there? Really? And our server said it's due to the shortage of staff. OK let's get creative here guys...put a few fried items on the menu that can be prepared one floor below from frozen to plate in 10 mins, a bowl of nuts, chex mix, pretzels, or whatever, and add some canned olives to the list and boom!! You've got a bar menu, and your revenues for the night have just gone up by $20 per table!! :-) read more

The Roof Top bar here is beautiful and big! There are rooftop games which makes it even more fun! Very nice atmosphere. It gives me such a California vibe. I will definitely come back here. Only downside is that there is no food, only drinks. read more

Room review: Beautiful inside, well decorated and spacious. The staff was warm and accommodating. The street traffic was terribly loud and my reservation was in October. At 10pm, the Hotel dehumidifier started. I called and was told that's the time it goes on. I needed to move my room, it was that loud. A quick survey of the staff and they have heard the complaints about the traffic and dehumidifier noise many times. The Salt restaurant is wonderful for breakfast and dinner. The Holiday Inn offers a better quality sleep. read more

We stayed Oct 10th overnight to celebrate my daughters birthday. We arrived an hour eRly but were were told they would call when our room was ready and they did rather quickly. Tripe issue was this room think the worst in the hotel. No view we looked out onto a wall with a small peek at the roof of the pool and a gigantic air conditioner system. The microwave turntable had not been cleaned and there was a fly that annoyed us the full stay I did ask for a fly shatter but it never arrived. Also we had an issue with no hot water. The did come twice to try and fix it. But my husband had to shave with cold water as we would have been late for our dinner reservation. We had dinner at Salt the restaurant the meal was good the traffic sound was not. But we were outside so to be expected. read more
