Pretty spacious for European standards!
We traveled from Italy (Rome / Venice) so it felt like an upgrade in terms of space and it feeling a bit more modern.
Location (+) It is adjacent to public transit which we didn't utilize. It is close by to a supermarket, a bike rental store, some restaurants, and Starbucks (which surprisingly closes pretty early!).
It is easily walking distance to lots of attractions and depending on how far you can walk, Red Light District, Rijksmuseum, Dam Square, etc.
Staff is friendly. We asked for an extra 30 min to check-out and they were accommodating.
Some extra options-
-Breakfast is an extra cost- we didn't utilize this, as it was an extra fee and we wanted to try local places nearby
-They provide coffee for all guests downstairs.
-They have a bike rental service. We used a 3rd party near the hotel instead since the hotel charges by the day and it resets at 7am instead of a 24 hour schedule.
-They also sell public transit tickets / attraction tickets
Only a small complaint- My significant other lost his tumbler which he believed housekeeping threw out thinking it was disposable so we had to search for a tumbler (which was very difficult to find and we had to resort to a mug instead), since he is a coffee addict.
Note- I did see some pictures of mold, but did not see this in our room. I did notice there was some heavy condensation at our window sill (which may be a reason for some former reviews of mold) so insulation might be an issue here.
Overall, would stay again if in the area, but be more cautious of leaving items out which may look disposable. read more
