Our room was cleaned everyday, we had a mini fridge, kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and cream, TV and a fan in the room as well. Bathroom a bit smaller, but nothing you can't handle. We were offered room no. 3 and 16. In 3 we spent the first night and the rest of our stay we were in room 16, since we chose to agree to switch the rooms. The staff kindly moved our luggage, so we didn't have to worry about it. In room no. 3 we had wifi connection, but in room no. 16 we didn't. The problem was solved immediately when we asked the staff about it and were given passwords to a different wifi :) The staff is very friendly and always helpful. As for us, we enjoyed our breakfasts - cereals, toasts, croissant, boiled egg, butter, cheeses, marmalades, nutella, tea, coffee, orange juice or just water. Hotel is just across the street from O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.There is also a lovely park, Westfield shopping centre and the Shepherd's Bush underground station are just 5 min walk from the hotel. Also I'd recommend the Italian place right next to the hotel :) Next time, I go to London, I'll definitely choose Grantly Hotel again.

At one point I had an issue with the TV (my fault as I believe my iron tripped a breaker) and they QUICKLY resolved the problem but were willing to move me to another room if need be. The ONE suggestion I might have is for the hotel to consider getting a table a chairs for their lower patio in front of the hotel. There is no real smoking location. On those few occasions where I would have liked to enjoy a fine cigar I had to stand on the stoop in front of the hotel. It would have been more relaxing to sit on their lower patio, just below street level, and be out of the wind with less road traffic noise.

There were both British and Continental European power sockets in the room but the European ones strangely didn't work. WiFi did work throughout the house. The rooms were clean aside from some water stains on the wall. The bathrooms were communal for the floor, but they were clean and I only had to wait to use the restroom once, at which I used the restroom off of the lobby. The hotel manager was very kind and took time to talk to us and get to know our story. He was very kind to tourists. While I wasn't a huge fan of the communal bathroom situation, I would definitely visit again.

But the place is 2 & maybe 3 star at best. My single is about 10x12'. No desk to work on, shower has only hot water & my room faces the noisy road with a window that does not close all the way. The wifi pretty much does not work. Except for sleeping, I don't think I will be in the room very much. Update after 7 days - location is great - short walk fro Holland Park & a little longer walk to Kensington Palace. I've gotten use to all the problems except for the wifi. It does not work.

Have a small desk with accessible plugs, comfy bed and good size bathroom. I had an issue with the AC but between opening a window and a fan they provided I slept very well.
