I have a lot of complaints so hang in there with my review.
The location is the best thing about this place. Plenty of shops nearby and the tube is just a short walk away. Some of the staff is quite nice but I feel like they change out too often. One had no idea how anything worked.
This place would not be good for anyone who cannot climb tiny, narrow stairs.
I stayed in a twin size room in the 300s.
-the stairs are very twisting and small, no elevator, any higher than the 300 rooms and you have quite a climb to make.
-the room is okay sized, but the walls are too thin and you can hear everything your neighbor is doing. The first neighbor I had was practically yelling with his wife (thankfully they left). You can also hear whenever someone goes up and down the stairs.
-the shower is absolutely tiny and the small tub at the bottom fills up quickly, so you have to turn off the water in the middle of your shower to let it drain. Careful when you step out because I scraped my leg on the sharp corner more than once.
-the toilet is jammed as close to the shower as it can be and so it's hard to sit down comfortably
-the mattresses are absolutely awful, much too old and need to be replaced. They let cold air through and make you colder at night.
The price may not quite be worth it, pay and bit more and stay somewhere else. If you don't mind ruffing it a bit then this is an alright place for you.
And they give you free refills of tea, coffee, and biscuits, which was nice but I'd rather have a more comfortable mattress.
I almost forgot: the remote for the TV was absolutely disgusting. Completely covered in grime. I had to clean it off myself. How they could just allow it to get that way, I don't know. read more
