    Dan Dan noodles with tofu
    Ericka B.

This was unlike most Dan Dan we've tried before. It was overall pretty good. The fun/surprising part were that the noodles were homemade and you could taste the freshness. The bok choy had a nice steam to it, so it wasn't all wilty and saturated. The unique part was the full peanuts in the dish. We're used to them being chopped a bit, but that didn't detract from the dish.

First place i stopped by cause they gave me a free sample. I ordered the noodles with vegetable. It had a nice spice and so tasty. I ordered on this big kiosk touch pad. Just a nice quick ordering process.

This to-go & delivery restaurant is located inside Fresh Mart International Groceries (former Whole Foods building.) You can order through their website or at the kiosk at the end of Fresh Mart's hot bar. Kiosk ordering was very easy, and you pay right there. I suggest placing your order then peruse the grocery store for 15-20 minutes. Fresh food takes time. I ordered Beef Stir-fry Noodles. The serving size was very large, packed in an 8x8" to-go container. The veggies were plentiful and super fresh. The thinly sliced beef was tender, but the noodles are the star of the dish. I learned that they make noodles from scratch every day. They were long, chewy and delicious. Not spicy in the least, which is how I wanted it. There is a spicy sauce you could add, if desired. I inquired if Hotco Noodles also made some of the Hot Bar dishes. Yes, they do make the Chinese dishes with black labels, including noodles. So if you're in a rush, stock up on noodles for only $10.99/pound (as of 8/10/24).

Dan Dan noodles were so salty and tasteless. Do disappointed. Very watery. Bok choy was good. I hardly could eat the noodles.

This was absolutely delicious!! It was one of many companies in an Asian Food Hall and was the busiest restaurant with lots of locals!

The stir fry noodles are delicious! They have the perfect amount of garlicy flavor. The service was great and the staff were very welcoming.

It's hard to say what your experience is going to be versus mine because there are something around 100 different options (many of which are different configurations of similar dishes, of course). I ordered their spicy pineapple chicken combo which came with pork fried rice and a kimchi salad. In terms of what the dish is: It is sweet and sour chicken with pineapple chunks and a fair amount of red pepper for heat. The kimchi salad was on the higher end of hot (as one would figure) and ultimately one note solely because of that fact. The chicken was, by and large, not stringy which is a common problem at food courts regardless of the sort of food they're serving. The sweet heat combination of the pineapple with a red pepper heat was nice. The pork fried rice had pork chunks that were generally smaller than your average pea, the smallest bits of egg (barely any), and oddly enough -- corn. It had a good flavor but the pork was almost not there and the relative lack of egg made it feel not much like fried rice. Despite the three star rating -- given the sorry state of Asian food offerings on the east side this is one of the better venues Mrs. T and I have visited on the east side. The next time we have a craving for Asian food this is definitely a contender for our business (and next time: We're buying some of the amazing looking Loves desserts from the case).

If you're in the food court, I would advise to stay away from this vendor and look elsewhere since the food was meh.

Pistachio one was my favorite. There were many Asian ice creams. Propitious mango was a good one. There were a lot of small food places in the food hall. I tried food from a lot of different places. The food hall had a lot of seats, and was neatly maintained. It was never crowded. Kawasaki is close to the entry of Global Market. So the first time I was there, I went straight to this place. I had a Chicken katsu rice bowl. It was one of the best food I had in the food hall. Display had some very delicious and cute cakes. Next time I should try some of that. Taiwan Street has nice pho and bubble tea. I went for a pistachio milk shake, without bubbles. It was good. But I think I should have really went for a pho. They have a lots of sweets in display. I went for a peach swiss roll and a sesame ball. Both were good. From Dumpling House, I went for a chicken and mushroom dumpling and chinese chive pie. Both were good . It came steaming hot. I think I should have gone for some of their more favorite items like chive and pork dumpling. From Nice Flavor Stir Fry , I went for a sauteed sliced lamb with cumin. Generally this is a really flavorful dish which you cannot go wrong with. But it wasn't as good as I expected. Flavors were off, and the quality fo meat was not as good as I expected. Stir fry chicken mei fun was my favorite item from Bowl Bowl Rice. It came hot and was flavorful. I also had a tea leaf flavor egg. It was just $1. But it came with egg shell. I had to peel it. Egg was slightly less flavorful than I expected. Mochi donut is the main item in Glazed. There were some food items as well, but I didn't find takers for that. I went for 3 donuts - Oreo, honey dew and churro. The flavors were all interesting. May be oreo was my favorite. Donut texture was more chewy. From S&B Hmong Kitchen, I went for a fried rice from this place. It was flavorful. Cilantro and scallion on top gave a nice flavor kick. From Poké Mì, I went for a drunken noodles as my entree. It was not as good as I expected. Flavors were off. May be I should have gone for bahn mi. I haven't seen sugar cane juice anywhere else in Madison. So went for one. I thought it was just ok.

Johnson Creek Premium Outlets - Johnson Creek, WI…read more This mall always comes through when I need a little retail reset. It's clean, easy to navigate, and has a great mix of stores--whether you're looking for budget-friendly deals or brand-name finds. I've scored amazing pieces at places like Nike, Old Navy, and Bath & Body Works (and the clearance racks be rackin' ). One thing I really appreciate is that it's not overwhelming. It's a chill shopping experience with wide walkways, plenty of parking, and restrooms that are actually easy to find and clean. It's not a "huge" mall, but it's just right when you want to get out, walk around, and treat yourself without driving too far or dealing with crowds. Great for quick stops or a slow weekend browse. Definitely a go-to for our household!

Date of visit: August 30, 2024…read more I tend to visit this outlet mall far less than all the others on account of not heading this direction as often as I am towards Pleasant Prairie or Oshkosh, but also because this mall is much smaller than the others. And not having been in a few years, I can see that it is considerably smaller yet due to the number of closures at the mall. There are easily a half-dozen empty storefronts here, and the buildings themselves are definitely not being kept up, either. I do not think this mall will be around in a couple years unless management steps in and revitalizes it. Don't even get me started on the danger of trying to cross the street between the two sides of the development, either as we witnessed multiple cars run the stop sign in our short time there.
