I placed an order about 10 days ago for chemicals for my new spa, which I bought from Paradise Valley Spas (I believe Hot Tub Things is a part of Paradise Valley Spas, based on my receipt and their website). I was skeptical of the service levels given my experience with Paradise Valley Spas and am happy to report they made a long term customer out of me! There was a delay due to back ordered product, and another shipping delay of unknown reasons. My order was listed as having been shipped but it turned out the warehouse just printed the shipping label and had not packed the order. I contacted them and Winston replied quickly and was quite helpful. Not only did he correct the problem but he offered me a discount on my next order to make up for the lengthy delay. My supplies should arrive today thanks to Winston's help! One star taken off for the lengthy delays, but I am otherwise very pleased with the service. I will be ordering my supplies from Hot Tub Things going forward as opposed to going to the local showroom for assistance. read more

They charged my credit card even though the products were out of stock. I got an email three days after I placed the order saying the order would be delayed because of "high volume." After that, my inquiries were responded to with generic automatically generated emails. read more

It seems to me this company must be going out of business. I ordered some hot tub chemicals, they sent the wrong product, I emailed them at least five times about it, they never responded. I have contested the charges to my credit card which have been reversed. I bought my hot tub from the parent company--Paradise Valley Spas--and have bought supplies from Hot Tub Things many times since then over several years. Now there is no follow thorough at all. Ordered new pillows for my spa. Received a UPS tracking number the next day that showed label created, and shipment cancelled within hour of each other. Contacted the company and got a response from Winston L that I would receive a new tracking number within 24 hrs, never got a new tracking #. Made numerous attempts to reach Winston L via email and phone, never got a response. I had to open a dispute with my bank for the charges. Do business with this company at your own risk. read more

Worst internet order experience I've ever had. Took 10 days to ship order out. It was incomplete on arrival. Notified them of this, got one reply from someone via email who said they are having fulfillment issues and promised to fix it. They never fixed the problem. He then stopped responding to emails. They do not answer the phone at the fulfillment center either. I called paradise valley spas who actually fulfills orders as per the invoice I got, and finally got ahold of someone who said it was shipping that day... it never did ship. Then called to cancel, they promised to cancel the order and send email out confirming this... never did that either. To resolve this I will have to file a complaint with the credit card company. Go elsewhere for supplies, absolutely not worth the trouble. read more

Honestly one of the best online stores I have purchased from. Don't hear this often but they have been honest and really have great customer care. Ordered some bullfrog pillows all came with indentations on them from packing i was able to fix all but one wiith a heat gun one is clearly used sent pictures in customer service never replied so i HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR THIS REASON!!!!!! Winston at HTT was super helpful in solving a shipping issue!

Before I even opened my order of the Frog @ease Sanitation system for my hot tub, I realized something was wrong. The shipping package tape had chemicals stuck to it and once I opened it I saw about a tablespoon of loose chemicals laying in the box. Inside, the manufacturer's original box was warped and faded as though it was left outside for sometime. I contacted Hot Tub Things to return it unopened and after a number of delaying emails from them (first saying loose chemicals are normal then wanting pictures), I realized they would not replace it. I decided to try to work with what I had rather than spend the shipping fee plus their $16 restock charge. After a couple of weeks of struggling to balance the chlorine level in the hot tub, it occurred to me the chemicals from Hot Tub Things might be ineffective. Sure enough, once I replaced the cartridge from a reliable source, the problem went away. Don't buy from Hot Tub Things. Jim read more

I ordered and spa cover from Hot Tub Things in the past, wanted another one, somehow Hot Tub Things is not interested in responding to my many requests to replace the spa cover with a cover identical to what I last ordered. Rude and unprofessional staff. I called In because I had a few questions about a particular service they offered on their website. I called one morning and I must have been on hold for at least 30 minutes only for someone to pick up and tell me they would call me right back. I gave them my information and waited a few days until I decided to call them back and the person that picked up told me they were going to put on hold again. I told the person to wait and I explained to him what had occurred a few days prior. I don't know who this person is but they were like "unless you plan to spend big $$$, don't call us again" and hanged up. Worst customer service experience I've had in my life. Wonderful company to do business. I ordered replacement cushions for my Bullfrog spa but one arrived damaged and another with a very slight scuff which I was willing to keep. They sent out 2 replacements anyways and did it immediately (without waiting for me to ship the previous 2 back first). Had to order a minor replacement part for my 15 year old spa (in-ground) and these guys were fantastic making sure I received the correct part. They actually bothered to write me to confirm dimensions on the same day that I put the order in. The part was received by mail (from warehouse in Memphis, TN) within a week.
