Kohl's has been one of my go-to stores for years, and this location is a big reason why. I've…read moreshopped here multiple times over the years and have consistently had positive experiences, whether I'm running in for something quick or taking my time browsing. This is actually where I originally opened my Kohl's card some years back, and the staff made that process straightforward and easy to understand. Since then, shopping here has always been smooth--from finding what I need to checkout. The store is well-organized, selections are solid across clothing and home goods, and the frequent discounts and rewards make it easy to feel like you're getting good value. Employees have generally been helpful and approachable when needed. It's a dependable, well-run store that keeps me coming back, which says a lot after this many years.

My teenager worked for Kohl's in Hiram, Ga. as a seasonal worker and they only worked for two weeks…read morethen got taken off the schedule for three weeks because my teenager had to miss one day of work due to unforeseen circumstances. My teenager tried to call the scheduling manager, but could not get through to a manager to advise them of their circumstances. At first, I figured it was due to less work available, but later I found out that there was still a labor shortage. With the Economy in the state that it is in now, there need to be better managers and leaders with good people skills, organizational skills who value their Employees! Horrible Management and Horrible Employee inclusion!! I called the Hiram store location several times over a month and could not get through to a manager and when I got a chance to speak with the scheduling manager it got worst! I asked what happened with the schedule and they said they needed to speak with my teenager, so I got my teenager on the phone and then they said my teenager needed to come to the store. So after we spoke with both managers, they said again my teenager needs to come into the store, then I said okay after a few minutes of frustrating conversations. So I asked, when will the manager be available, then they said they could not give the information out. What! I had agreed with them, then they said they could not give me that information. It sounds like they had no intentions to resolve this issue. So here we are. Why are we wondering why we have a labor shortage? It is clear that we need competent leaders and managers who know how to manage people and treat their Employees well! I have reached out to corporate because this was one of the worst experiences I have had to see my teenager go through. No parent wants to encourage their children to be independent and learn good work-life balances and work ethics when the people in leadership do not understand it.

They've always had a mix of novelty items, pop-culture merch, gag gifts, graphic tees, posters, and the more adult-oriented products they're known for. It's that blend of funny, edgy, and nostalgic that keeps people browsing longer than they planned. Even if I don't walk out with anything every time, I usually find at least one thing that makes me laugh or brings back memories. It's a good spot for last-minute gifts or something random you won't find at a big box store. The store layout is familiar, the vibe is unapologetically Spencer's, and it fills its lane well. Not necessarily a must-buy every visit, but absolutely a must-stop when you're doing a lap around the mall.

This store was recommended to me by a friend. I usually go to Rigby and Peller and know my sizing…read morethere. When you are sized at Rigby and Peller you are given your size and why. They explain to you how each part is the bra should fit and why. I was fitted at a 32E and my breasts looked great in my clothes and in my bras. However, they are around $130-$230 a bra, which is why I agreed to try Soma. When I went to Soma, everyone was pretty friendly upfront. They put this sports bra looking device on me and let it tell me what bra size I should be. The device said 36C. I would love to be a C since it is way less expensive but it is just not the case. Companies will go higher around the waist so they can go lower in the cup but you will not get that perfect fit. The person sizing me said ok let's try a 34DD. My experience at Rigby and Peller gave me enough knowledge to see that the band was too high bc it was too large around, which makes your chest sag and breasts not sit properly in the cup. There was also a gap at the top of the cup bc it was not laying flush on my chest, also an indication the bra was not fitting properly. The clerk was happy to sell me the wrong size even though she knew it didn't for correctly. I explained to her why I didn't think the bra fit correctly and she said, "yeah, I noticed that". So why didn't she say anything? She knew what sizes she had in the store and wanted to make the sell more than she wanted me to have a proper fitting bra. I highly recommend going to the higher end store, get sized, bite the bullet and pay the high amount. Then use that size to shop elsewhere for a future bra. Different bra brands you will need a different size but get the knowledge of how a bra is supposed to fit and you will have a great starting place. Once the staff knew I was purchasing the bras there, they immediately switched from super nice to almost annoyed that I was still there. I won't shop there again.

So this was my first experience at this location. It is larger than others in Atlanta. Seems to have most of the online stock in store. Clean. Big sale section which is sort like a bomb went off...stuff everywhere falling off of wracks and shelves. But I have to say the employees don't seem to know anything about their job or store or policies. While there I asked 3 questions and they didn't decide to answer to any of them (or they couldn't but also did bother to find an answer) I asked specific ally about a pair of pants they had on an mannequin and I was walked around the whole store, shuffled to 3 different employees and nope...couldn't find it. Also just was like I don't know what those are to even try to look them up had I asked. I did try a few items on and it's worth mentioning that there was no in the fitting rooms, I don't care about this hit from a loss prevention point it's not great, and they are all SO SO DARK. I have 0 issues with my site but these were cavelike. I ended up in the assessable room (I was the only person in the fitting room for the duration of my trying on) which made me a little uncomfortable but it was the inky one that had anything remotely considered to be close to normal lighting. I included a photo of me in the fitting so you can the lighting in the "brightest" room. There was also a shelf that wasn't actually attached the wall that almost fell on me. I caught it but had I not it could have actually hurt me or someone else. I told an employee about it and she just went "oh...I girl I'll let someone know" and walked away. This was an adult...Kind if wild. Altered state isn't really geared towards my age bracket (30s) that's fine but they maybe need to have someone working that can answer basic questions customers may have. Gage it an added star because they did have more floor space and seems to have more stock than other Atlanta locations.
