Getting an appointment online was incredibly easy and they even offer some great deals along with multiple backgrounds and even props. I haven't been to JcPenney since I was a child but this one wasn't any different. The store was huge, clean and packed with different holiday decor and gifts alike. When we entered, we had no clue where to go and this nice woman was at the front of the store assisting anyone who walked in and she guided us to the studio. The studio itself is soooo small! But I can't blame JcPenney, they probably didn't know that their photo sessions would go so crazy but, they have - time for more space. There were seats for about 6 people and our Doona stroller embarrassingly took up more foot space than expected. Business is definitely booming back there though! Despite our set appointment, we didn't actually get into our shoot until an hour later because there was so much traffic. Honestly, that wasn't ideal but we totally understood because when we got into our session with our 8month old - he showed out lol. Leaving us to take an extra 20+ minutes than most probably because we were feeding and bribing a baby to smile. Our photographer was AWESOME. He was incredibly patient, kind and did all he could to make our son smile. We left with a number of great pictures that we'll be able to share for years to come and with their special(s), we walked out paying a little over $100. Not bad at all, we'll be back to snap some shots in the studio again!

In fact, this is where I first signed up for my JCPenney credit card many years ago when I was just starting to build my credit. Over time, I've never had an issue with this location, which says a lot about their consistency. The store has moved things around over the years, and while I've noticed the clearance racks seem to shrink every time I visit (and I'm not a fan of the upcharge on XL clothing), the savings on their regular sales usually balance things out. There are always solid deals to be found if you take the time to browse, and the app plus the store card can help stack even more discounts. What I've always appreciated most is the staff. They're consistently friendly, quick at checkout, and always go out of their way to find extra savings. I also always get a warm welcome when I walk in and a thank you when I leave -- small gestures that make a big difference. The store is usually busy, but not overwhelming except around the holidays, and it still manages to feel well-run. For a chain retailer, this JCPenney has always delivered a dependable shopping experience, and I'll keep coming back.

Prices are good outlet prices and just about everything was 70% off, and a few things (back wall clearance stuff) were 70% + an additional 20% off. Posted sheets on the wall made it pretty easy to calculate (close enough) what prices would be for different items. Looks like they do a good job of displaying for the current season so I would be guessing, but would think they probably have 4 major updates to inventory during the course of the year. If you're shopping for a high quality purse at a reasonable price, I'd recommend coming to these outlets just to shop here before making a purchase anywhere else. Really pleased with our experience here.

From the greeting itself when I entered the store, I knew it would be a great experience. Lily was my sales person and she was very kind, warm and friendly. Right away, she asked how she could help and took my measurement. From there she guided me through several racks but in my size only so I could focus my search. She was helpful but not pushy and I really appreciate this style of selling. She felt like a partner in my outfit search! While I tried on the several outfits we had chosen, she stood by my side and made comments (but not overly). I am pretty decisive and do not need opinions in general but she was helpful. She gave me a reasonable price on the two outfits I ended up purchasing after going to several other stores and coming back to Lily for the purchase. What I want to mention is that most of the stores in Global Mall have TERRIBLE customer service. Most of them have old clothes/styles to begin with and are not helpful whatsoever. They are not friendly, they are lazy. At places like Ladlee the girls sit around and gossip (loudly) and make for a terrible shopping experience. Elan is well organized, beautiful and again, thanks to wonderful people like Lily, the shopping experience is a very good one. I will definitely shop at Elan again!

Popped into Brooks Brothers on our recent trip to the outlets in search of casual/upscale attire…read morefor an upcoming cocktail party. The store is laid out really well. It is bright, open, organized, clean and in great condition. Each area was clearly defined and easily to navigate to and from. They have casual sections, suit sections, business casual, shoes...and one of the largest clearance sections I have seen at a Brooks Brothers...and maybe even at a specialty clothing store. There was only one Associate in the store at the time and he was helping other customers with a custom order, so we did not interact with him. However, the service and conversation I witness was great and the customer on the receiving end seemed very happy. Prices were hit and miss. I found several things in the clearance section that I enjoyed and ended up getting, however the clearance shoes were still marked a tad high. Our main goal was a pair of slacks, and while they were priced well for the most part, they were short in stock of sizes needed. Overall, good trip to a solid Brooks Brothers location at the outlets!

Whew! Something that I feel qualified to answer! I've been a plus-sized girl for my entire 42…read moreyears. As a young girl, I suffered through Sears' "Lemon Frog" department (the girl equivalent of the Toughskins Husky horror). I remember a time when you couldn't walk into a regular retail store and find clothing larger than a 14, or shoes larger than a 9. Luckily, that time has past. I would be hard-pressed to recommend any store more highly than I would recommend Lane Bryant. In my opinion, it's one of the finest stores for plus-sized women's clothing. I used to run store to store, outlet to outlet, and find a quality piece here or there, but once I discovered Lane Bryant, I was able to build a nice wardrobe without scouring the countryside. Years ago, I wised up and stopped buying custom intimate wear and began wearing Lane Bryant's brand, Cacique. It's much cheaper, much higher quality, and way prettier than the things I used to pay a fortune for and just tolerate. Plus, the Lane Bryant sales associates are trained to custom fit you. For free. Hard to beat that combination. Also, their jewelry and shoe selection is plus-sized (another rarity). I have a beautiful collection of bangles, bracelets, etc. that fit me. Their necklaces are just a smidgen longer than regular, so they hit just the right place. Even their socks and hosiery are made for "us". I have always been able to find casual wear and business attire all under one roof, which is a real pleasure. Big bonus: their sales are often, plentiful, and generous. The stores aren't in every mall, but there are enough of them around Atlanta to make it easy to shop with them. Online is a great option, too, as is their outlet store up near Dalton, GA. Even though I haven't shopped there in awhile (I had gastric bypass surgery, and I am slowly divesting myself of my much-loved Lane Bryant wardrobe), I will always love that store. Not just because they carried things in my size, but moreso because I always felt good shopping there.
