I used to buy A LOT of clothes at Kohl's. However, they just don't have the selection and prices any more. How is it you barely have any khaki colored pants for men? The day I went shopping, I made a few purchases, but even that soon led to disappointment. I bought dress pants. I left and went to the target in the same shopping center. There were the same pants for $20 less (not even on sale). The problem with Kohl's is they are always trying to get you to sign up for something to get discounts (and apparently prices that other retails offer without such requirements). I've not shopped at Kohl's in over 5 years. This is because a few years ago I had a pretty bad experience here so I decided I was going to take my business else where..... On a recent errand day however I decided to pop in here and give them another shot. This Kohl's is located off of Woodstock Square Avenue right beside the Target, Old Navy and there is a BJ's behind here. It can get pretty jammed packed on the weekends but there has always been plenty of parking but sometimes you do have to wait a while if you're pulling out of this parking lot and on to Woodstock Square Avenue. There are lots of cars turning in from highway 92 and lots of cars coming from BJ's. So you want to be patient....you turn will come... I had heard recently that they were starting to sell Mally Roncal's make up here. I've been buying Mally Beauty for years and was interested to see if there was going to be new items exclusive to Kohl's...but when I got there I saw that the display case was completely empty and so I guess they weren't ready yet which was fine. I thought the store was organized and the merchandise were neatly displayed. They had some super cute teen sweatshirts for the fall and some very cute holiday dresses for little toddlers. Eventually I made my way to the panty hose section....I know most people don't wear hose anymore but I still wear them to the office especially in the winter time where my boss runs the A/C 365 a year. I figured since I'm here I'd minds well pick up a few since I'm always going through them....well they were out of my color and my size... Based on that the fact that they didn't have the item that I wanted to purchase in stock and the fact that I must of walked by at least 3 employees on the sales floor and 2 in the bathroom...No one offered to help me or asked if I was looking for anything in particular...I will give them a 3 stars. I think this is fair since I've had a bad experience in the past and this time I felt my experience was luke warm. Very Friendly My wife is a regular Kohl's shopper and while we were in Marietta for Thanksgiving she wanted to give Kohl's a try. She was looking for a Christmas Present for one of the Granddaughters and the Kohl's in Mooresville was sold out. I felt it was a long shot but gave it a try anyway. Initially she could not find what she was after but one of the sales clerks was able to help her. Item was on sale, plus she had a 20% off coupon so she got it for less than half the initial retail price. This is not uncommon for Kohl;s Very friendly but the icing on the cake was when we got home, she had an email from the store manager thanking her for stopping in knowing that this was not her regular store. We may never stop at this store again but it was impressive that he took the time to send a note in the first place. Very personable touch. read more

This store was once pleasant until 4/18/24 when I had a traumatic experience with a racist employee named Beverly. To briefly explained what happened: I was shopping for my family & I. I went to pay for my items at self checkout and was directed by Beverly to go to a register and have the cashier check me out. I explained to the cashier I'll pay in 2 transactions since I had a good bit of kohls cash I wanted to redeem before it expired in 2 days. She was very nice & checked me out with no issue. After I paid for my items I realized I forgot something else I needed to purchase so I asked if I may leave my shopping bags with the items I purchased at the customer service desk while I grab some other items. When I arrived back to the register to pay for the other things I wanted Beverly approached me saying I went over the limit of kohls cash that can be used in 1 day and that she took it upon herself to void all the items I paid for in one of the bags that I left at customer service. This left me baffled because why would she do such a thing? Firstly I didn't violate policy. Second, if this was actually policy why wouldn't you wait and speak to me so we can resolve it together so I can choose what items I'd like to keep/return. To make things worse she wouldn't even give me a receipt from these items she unauthorizedly returned. Simple & plain I was profiled for being a young black man with tattoos. I did nothing wrong & didn't deserve this treatment. I will be speaking with corporate & my lawyer! read more

You can now order on Kohls.com which is awesome and seriously convenient. My son had to go to a formal and we knew his size but we did not have the time to shop. We conveniently ordered off of Kohl's.com and his entire outfit was ready for pick up very quickly. There are items that you can't pick up so quickly but there are many items that are available within 1 to 2 days. This is an awesome perk that Kohl's has added! Since having an abundance of Kohls cash it's great to be able to go online and search through their many items and choose what I want without going to the store. Just bought brand new knives through the app that are awesome! read more

In cleaning out the closet, I found an unopened set of extra long twin sheets that I bought for my daughter when she started college. Besides being over three years old, I no longer had the receipt. Ok, so Kohl's is a Sensei of business practice in my opinion. They always find a way to get customers in the store, and once you are in, they ensure you come back. After the first visit, you will leave with some sort of coupon or inside info that will make you want to come back. A lot of times, they offer Kohl's Cash, which saves you a lot of money and really gives a solid incentive to return.... I love the selection of clothes they have here. Everything is usually on sale, and you can get some fantastic deals on stuff that are on the clearance rack. The last time I shopped here, I saved more money than I spent. So I have to say... that I wasn't really a big fan of Kohl's when they first opened. It seems to me that a lot of their merchandise is overpriced. But, I have to give credit where credit is due. When they have a sale... man, do they have a sale! My husband and I went shopping yesterday because he was looking to buy some Polo shirts. We found some here that were buy 1 get 1 free. SCORE! He picked out 8 that he liked (ranging from $26 - $30 each), I got a fleece jacket (that was originally $60 marked down to $37), and I picked up a candle that I liked the scent of (Pomegranate & Vanilla! YUM!) that was originally $15.00 marked down to $9.75. So, we get up to the register. Ring everything up and my total came out to $101.00. What?? How can that be? Well, I'll tell you how. The shirts rang up for $15 each and my jacket rang up for $18!! THEN, the clerks gave us 15% off because we forgot our coupon at home! Grand total after the 15% discount? $87.00. Seriously. Can't beat that! I always wait until they have their sales because you can really rack up then! The sales people are always really nice at this location also! Kohl's has been my favorite store for years. I recently moved to Georgia from Maine and this location happens to be very close to my house so I checked it out today. They were well organized, very clean and well stocked. There were multiple staff keeping the store clean and organized and they all were very friendly. I went back to Kohl's and was very impressed with their service. I needed help in men's wear and found a gentleman who spent time with me and answered all my questions. A woman clerk joined him and they helped me choose a cardigan sweater. I purchased other things as well. When I checked out the cashier was very friendly and helpful. So not only did an employee blatantly run into me without apologizing or saying excuse me in the Women's (Chaps/Levi's) Department, the jewelry employee literally yelled at another employee at the men's register with me standing right in front of her less than 6 inches away. Also, after spending over two hours in the store only one person even bother to be polite and that was Angela who checked us out. I went out of my way a few times just to see if an employee would acknowledge me. Unfortunately, after making eye contact, smiling, and saying hello not one of the 6 employees even bothered to smile back. It's nice to know employees go to work to converse with each other rather than actually do their jobs. read more
