Price was very low to high. This place had another place with lower prices than the store.

The fragrance department is horrible! If you are a person of color just avoid those racists completely. There is only one person that was helpful to me and that was Sharonda at the Dior counter. Those other women (not of color presumably) completely ignored me. When I asked for help, they didn't even come over, they just yelled across the store at me! Sharonda was the only one to offer any assistance. I tried to speak with the store manager and she was even worse than the other women on the floor. Her name is Cheryl and acted as though my complaint was beneath her. I will buy my fragrance off the street before I waste my time with them again. read more

A lady by the name of Cindy helped me. she was in the clothing department and she left her department to help me with pots and pans and another clothing item that I wanted. When I got home, one of the pans was missing from the box that I had gotten so I called back down to Macy's and I got this lovely lady named Cindy again and told her what happened and she got with her supervisor and I had to go back down to. To return, but she waited at the door and box ready for me with all the pans in it. She was such a big help and Macy should be very proud that they have an employee like that. Do not buy watches from Macy's the worst policy specially from two people their name is Al Buster, and Jesse they don't tell you the rules. Nothing posted on their section or the receipt with their policy. You're stuck with the merchandise always ask before you buy. they can't make up whatever they want if they decide not to return. read more

Received excellent customer service at the ESTEE LAUDER counter. Kym, the Sales Associate was very knowledgeful and pleasant. She helped me to choose a new fragrance for my self. I like this Macy's. I always seem to have good luck finding gifts here. By "gifts" I mean clothing to give as presents. I'm a Ralph Lauren fan and this location has a nice, fairly large Ralph Lauren / Polo section. They carry items that are moderately priced and also (I would say) extravagantly priced. Luckily, they often have sales and discounts. I have shopped at the Ralph Lauren store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA and I have never seen their items discounted as much as at Macy's. I recently bought a sweater as a gift and it was marked down 40%. When I was rung up at the register, I was told that I could get an additional 20% off. Wow! A 60% discount, what a deal! Thanks Macy's! 4 stars here instead of 5 stars because of the wait. Sometimes staff can seem few and far between. The line to pay, even though not terribly long, can take a LONG time to get through. read more

This retailer unfortunately has gone downhill in the past 5-6 years. When I was growing up there Town Center had a Macy's and a Rich's. Macy's not only had a beautiful store but beautiful clothes and fantastic sales associates. Not anymore. Whenever I come here now I just get annoyed. I have to walk half way around the building to go to the juniors department to check out. If I need help with an item; forget about being able to get anyone to help you out. Last Christmas I was given a bottle of perfume by someone and I wanted to exchange it. I had the receipt and the item had not been opened. Well I must of gotten passed by 3 sales associates because no one seemed to know how to make a return for one single item. I think I was there for 20 minutes waiting for them to figure out how do it and put it back on a gift card. I think I'll stick to Nordstrom and Amazon. Sorry but it shouldn't be this hard to get someone to take my money.... read more

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the person at the perfume counter was excellent !! She was the one who checked me out. However I was buying men's dress shirts. The people in the men's department cannot be bothered they want nothing to do with you. Hey here's an idea why not open all your doors when the store actually opens at 10 AM I had to walk all the way around through the mall to get in. If I wasn't in desperate need at the time for a men's dress shirt I would never shop here. read more

It's been awhile since I've been to Town Center. I was able to grab some dress pants at a decent price, so that made me happy. Everything looked organized (much better than Kohl's). I'll be back. However, I'm sorry to say that the young man who waited on me needs to make himself more presentable. I'm not expecting formal, in fact, I'm extremely casual myself (partly why I'm writing this). I know if it took me back, it is definitely making the wrong impression on "uppity" people. Macy's should give him a nice shirt to wear; there's plenty hanging around. Black Friday without Socks They were ready for Black Friday Black Friday in Kennesaw We checked into the hotel in Kennesaw and my wife discovers she forgot to pack socks. OK, I told her we were across from the Mall and I would take her first thing in the morning. She had a what was left on a Macy's Gift Card for Macy's so it was Macy's She was pleased. They had staffed up and when she walked it, they were able to help in minutes and on top to the gift card, the sock were on sale so she walked out of the store , after the gift card, paying only the tax. Service here is terrible. We attempted to return a dress but by the time we were able to return it they said they could not even though it was within the 60 day window on the receipt. They stated that they the policy was only 30 days. They would not do the return or make an exception or even exchange it. I was able to contact customer service and they were able to do the return, but should not have to jump through hoops to return something that still had the tags and was never worn. It is my personal & humble opinion Macy's is setting up to be approved for Bankruptcy Any huge corp is allowed to file bankruptcy but they must be approved by the Judge... My family and I were shopping on Dec 17th. Two of us needed shoes. Its holiday season so All stores are busy. In Macys at Town Center most of their staff seemed flustered & confused. At least not welcoming or friendly thats for sure...‍ We waited patiently 25 mins to try on some shoes we really liked. We could see how busy they were. Finally I went up to the lady at register between 2 & 2:40pm just as she finished ringing someone up. I asked very politely if there was more than 2 ppl working the floor so we could try on shoes. She was so incredibly Rude. She replied "No! and that there was only One person running the floor because the other girl was leaving." Then she turned around and just walked away. To say the least we just put the shoes down and left. My neice was going to buy her make up & perfume there. My hubby was suppose to go to the mens side to look for clothes. I explained no store with this kind of management hiring these kind of ppl is going to get our money under any circumstances. I told my family Macys isn't Macys anymore. They should close it down. Only in my personal opinion Macys should NEVER be allowed to file bankruptcyI believe they are only setting up their own Bankruptcy to be approved by the Courts. It is my humble opinion that Macys is hiring under qualified & idiot ppl to work there so they can show a big loss in income preparing to file bankruptcy. (no disrespect to those few dedicated great employees still working at Macys in Town Center) ( I myself worked for Macys in Fl, as undercover security in my younger years and I loved that store) Any loss of income Macys at Town Center reports for 2021 has got to be a set up to file bankruptcy. There are still some really good staff working for them so many yrs they plan to retire with Macys. I think you get a 'bang for your buck' at Macy's. The newly opened outlet section in the basement has a bunch of marked-down stuff ... from shoes, second-hand Vuitton purses, hair care products, clothing .... even housewares! As a Macy's card holder discount coupons come regularly in the mail. And if you happen to leave yours home, most cashiers have 'em by their registers. When I went to NY last month, I stopped by their flagship store on 34th Street. The place was packed and lines were long. (Did I really deal with that when I lived in Manhattan?!) I appreciate the relative calm of the Kennesaw store, and the selection I think is fine. We've bought well-priced furniture, almost room-sized area rugs, a mattress or two. Then went to executive office and no one in there and won't be all day per the one sales person working the floor. Your one stop shop for any occasion. The only thing I would say is that they need to up their customer service and add more employees. I love that they send out so many coupons. If you are a charge holder you get event more. I love that they added a sale department which really offers some great deals! I mean seriously! You can get name brand things for great prices. Went to three different counters and experienced the worst customer service at all three. Let's start with the MAC cosmetics counter first. Now I obviously buy a good amount of makeup as I had six empty recyclable containers but the associates barely acknowledged me and refused to help me find good products. Normally when I go, the makeup artist will apply the makeup for you and tell you their recommendations for which products work best. However at this location, the associate pointed to the sample station and told me to figure out what I like best. And the strange thing, is that they weren't even crowded. It was incredibly frustrating. When I checked out, I had to tell her several times that I had recyclables and a return so she wouldn't over charge me. Basically this transaction took an excruciating long time because she refused to listen to the customer. Next I went to the clothes counter and she refused to help me because the item wasn't in her area. She scoffed at me and sent me away. Lastly when we went to the purse department, the associate literally turned her back to my friend and I when she saw us coming. It took another associate to tell her she had a customer at the counter and she responded with a terrible attitude and said I know. She reluctantly took the return and made the process incredibly difficult even though I had a receipt. It was extremely disappointing because I am typically a loyal Macy's customer. Would definitely recommend better training for their associates and patronizing other stores in the mall area. read more

I have purchased thousands of dollars of furniture and rugs from Macys. Unfortunately I had a claim for a defective finish on a coffee table. Though the painted finish peels off with the most careful of use, and though we purchased the so called "worry no more" policy, our claim was denied. The policy covers any kind of accident: dog, cat and parrot gouges, nail polish or a slew of other accidents ... but not a defective finish that has worn away with extra careful use. Macys denied my claim, saying the damage was due to wear and tear. A beautiful wood coffee table finish does not disintegrate after a year of use. BEWARE: MACYS WORRY NO MORE POLICY YOU PAY EXTRA FOR IS USELESS! I sent an email to their corporate office after the warranty company denied the claim. They have not bothered to respond. Customer Service does not happen at this location. I will not return particular store. I ask for help from 2 different associates as they were passing. They both said one moment. I waited in the shoe section (where they both were working) to watch them help multiple guest that walked up after me and after I asked for help. I ended up leaving because I didn't get any help for the shoe size I needed. The associates were to the point helping the same 3 couple and overlapping their help (when one would walk away the others would approach and help) why does the same 3 couples need all of your attention? read more

I ordered a pair of shoes for my daughter from Macys. They did not fit correctly. I sent them back and followed all the instructions properly. I received an email that the shoes were received back to Macys on January 20th. It's now February 21st and still no refund. Every time I call customer service they tell me 2 more days. This past weekend, I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever while attempting to buy my wife a new watch and Coach purse for Christmas in the women's department. My family and myself could not even get the employees in these two departments to even acknowledge us while staring directly at us, and they weren't even busy. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years on my family, but no more. From now on, I will buy online or at another retailer where my hard earned money is appreciated. Funniest thing is, I sent a detailed email to Macy's customer service department this past Saturday evening, and guess what? Absolutely no response from their end. So, I just moved to Kennesaw and I specifically went into Macy's to pick up a MAC brow product in the cosmetic department because the Ulta here doesn't sell MAC. It's a Thursday, mid day, and completely dead so you would think these cosmetic girls in Macy's would want a good sale (since I'm literally the only customer at the moment). Not a SINGLE person in that entire department as I walked through said a word to me or even smiled. Not even when I walked up to the MAC counter did the two girls working there even acknowledge me. They were too busy working on visuals and stocking shelves. So instead, I go to the Urban Decay counter to see if they had a brow product shade I was looking for. This employee working at Urban Decay is no joke staring at herself in the mirror fixing her hair and just looks over at me. As an individual who has worked management in retail cosmetics for over 10 years, I know personally that this is completely unacceptable customer service. I'm actually extremely annoyed I even wasted my time on this rainy day driving over here. If I could leave zero stars I would. They're lucky I wasn't a secret shopper. This review is for the Sheseido counter inside Macy's. There was one older lady working the counter and she asked if she could assist me with anything. I told her that I was looking for a gift set and she said that there were "few and far between" even though there were several on the counter and behind the counter. O....kaaay. Anyhow, I didn't really know what to get for my aunt. so she suggested something and I went with it. When she rang me up, I asked for a gift receipt but I couldn't get one. She said it was because, "There is no gifting going on here." Um, I just purchased a GIFT set, as a GIFT, and there's "no gifting" going on? Wtf does that even mean? Three days before Christmas, and I can't get a gift receipt. Great. Looks like I'll be hitting up another Sheseido counter at another mall later. read more

A REAL MACY'S! This store is the business when it comes to clothing for women. I can't shop for women's clothing at my local store because it is just not a pleasure, (unorganized, crowded, a mess). I spent the entire time just exploring the various collections for women, (this store is huge). There were so many beautiful garments and I explored every size because I was doing a mental comparison with my local store. There were great collections and styles and breezy tops that are perfect for summer. I really appreciated seeing the red, white and blue prominently displayed. These colors really define summer for me and really get me in the mood to celebrate and appreciate all that summer has to offer. I loved the classic R&B playing in the background because it just set the tone for me to keep shopping. I only left because I received the "pick up" call and HAD to leave. I definitely plan on returning to this store for future shopping. read more

Great Customer Service at the Men's Dept. by Betty and Patrick! I recently visited the Macy's at Town Center Mall on a Saturday to get a fitted dress shirt and tie. I was looking at the white dress shirts when an employee (I forget her name) came up and offered to measure my neck to see what size I needed. She informed me I would need a 14 1/2 size shirt. I took two shirts to the Fitting Room where Betty explained to me that I could only try on one of them due to the long process of putting the other one back on the shelf. I informed her the shirt would be for an interview and she picked out the better of the two. I then asked her if it was possible to steam press it because I wouldn't have time to dry clean it. She asked me when the interview was and I said Monday morning (in 2 days.) She was surprised it was so soon and Patrick also overheard me say that. He offered to steam press it and made me feel like it was not a big problem. I know this is not what they do for every customer, but they understood how I needed it right away and did not hesitate to say yes. I could not have asked for better customer service. While Patrick was steam pressing the shirt, Betty helped me pick out a tie to go with it. We spent about 5 minutes looking at ties and finding the perfect one for the occasion. I was so pleased with the experience that I made this my go-to store for dress shirts. I used to go to Express and other stores, but this recent experience will make me come here first every time! Lots and lots of changing rooms. Huge discounts, and the lady checking us out hooked us up with 20% off when my girlfriend couldn't find her coup. She didn't have to do this but she did because she was awesome. I am very pleased with this store. There were little kids running everywhere knocking things over and just being annoying in general. Not really the stores fault but it annoyed me enough that I dropped a star. read more

Today I walked into the shoe dept at Macy's at Town Center. After I had chosen a pair of shoes, I wanted to know if they came in widths, so I approached a counter where an employee was standing. Before I could even say a word, she sniffed, "You'll have to wait," and walked back into the storeroom - no greeting, no pleasantries, no "I'll be right with you." I waited a few minutes, and when she returned she looked annoyed to see me still standing there, and again, before I could even say a word, she said, "you'll have to go over there and get in line" and pointed to another register with several people waiting to check out. Again, she didn't extend the slightest courtesy or even ask me what I wanted. I hadn't spoken a word, but was dismissed twice. I was supposed to go wait in line for another 15 minutes to ask if this shoe came in widths when she could have just helped me? I said, "No, I won't" and walked out. Came home and ordered the exact same shoes on Amazon and they cost half the price. So tell me why I'd ever go back to Macy's and be treated as though I am interrupting something more important the employees have to do when I can save the time and gas and shop online. read more

Worst ever. I was returning a necklace for which I had the receipt, and they refused to take it back, because it was outside of 30 days. Horrid customer service. I asked for a manager, and the manager (Cheryl) was so close, she was touching me. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she did not look well. I asked her to stand back, because there are signs telling us to stand 6 feet apart. I felt her breathing all over me. It was a nightmare. This Northpoint Store is a huge rip off right now! It says everywhere that everything in the store is 40% off. I read it twice, it says in on the front door! I guess thats why your closing! The gentleman checking out my stuff was so busy acting as to impress me! He forgot to put my sippers in the bag, just slower than hell. He had people lined up all the way to the walkway. Last night we had the most horrific experience with David's Bridal. My cousin was in tears! We went into Macy's so she could simply try on some dresses to get her spirits up & so I could get an idea of what she truly wants as a bride. She tried on 15 gowns. Felt like a queen. We had little interaction with employees, but the ones we did helped her feel special & beautiful. Thank you so very much to all your amazing employees - even the ones that just gave directions. Everyone was uplifting. Let me add - it was a rainy, dreary night. She had on a sweatshirt & was still treated like the queen she is. Thank you so much for being professional, courteous, and human. Customer service in this store is non existent. Clerks dont know the merchandise, they appear irritated when you ask them questions, and you have to search for someone when you need help. I used to really like shopping in Macy's. Now, I'll shop elsewhere. read more
