I want to give out a shout out to Nick for excellent service. We tried to get an employee to help in the Tech department but all the employees noticed us, but acted as if we weren't there. Nick came along ,and although he didn't work in that department he tried to help us. He sent us to the front and ensured someone attended to us. We bought a Backbone 1 Gen 2 Playstation edition. I called in today and spoke with someone from guest services, they have no idea what is going on, asked HR for information for employment there, girl who I spoke with, did not address her name and no greeting, one of those ungrateful staff work there, once we finished talking, she hung up but wasn't hung up completely and heard her saying "Oh God!" I've been to this Target about half a dozen times over the years and have always left a happy customer. They have great selection on organic produce and gluten-free cookies. The store is always well stocked and got friendly folks that work the sales floor. This store often has great clearance on items such as shampoos, lotions and other personal hygiene products. Right now they have all their summer stuff on clearance such as T-shirts, shorts and light tops...sometimes if you use their app you can get an additional percentage off certain clearance items making them virtually free.... sweet... They're located right off Cumming Highway and Northside Cherokee Boulevard. There is a Starbucks right inside of here as well. You can't ever go wrong coming to Target for your stuff...its a good choice... read more

Well, this is my second review of this location. I brought my wife in for glasses and was not using insurance, but paying out of my pocket for the best RayBan frames, lenses and coatings. OUT OF MY POCKET. When she got her glasses she couldn't see out of them. The "manager" woman told her "just get used to them". Well, a week went by and she STILL can't see out of them, so they tell her bring them back, but the ONLY time they could see her was FIVE DAYS later. FIVE, not immediately, but making her wait FIVE DAYS. She shows up for her appointment on time, but walk ins were allowed in front of her for over an hour. They look at the lenses and determine the prescription is not only WRONG, but there is no progressive grind in the lenses I PAID FOR. They order the lenses and said they would be "expedited", which at this point is LONGER than ordering the glasses last time. It's now over two weeks and the only explanation was well, it might take longer than expected. I PAID FULL PRICE for incompetence and apathy. I was interested in the XBOX SERIES S for my wonderful grandson who has turned 13 and wanted to please him for Christmas this year. I've recently moved into my own apartment and had a desire to find one for him. When hearing about the stores running out of them at this Holiday season, I was believing that there wasn't any hope to get one. He has grown up without a dad in his life and so I was on the course to find him that BOX, if possible. My second bedroom would be perfect for this need - a desk, a gaming chair and this gift if I could find this SERIES S. Upon hearing there was one, (only one) at Canton, GA Target two days ago, I quickly thought, could it still be there. - just what are the odds? I wondered. And so my mission was set and off I drove to the store. Didn't know - was it still on the shelf somewhere? I approached Gabe Crittendon in Electronics and explained my dilemma to him. Being the caring person he seemed to radiate toward me, he reached for his phone and spoke with a co-worker. After hanging up, this incredible man began to show something positive across his face as he directed me to follow him to Customer Service. There he opened up a locked cage. Gabe was smiling as he presented to me the only X BOX SERIES S Target had! I was beyond words as he continued that engaging smile of his. "Here mam, this is for you," as he rung up that beautiful gift for my grandson, another surprise occurred. With this purchase came a great discount and in addition, I received a $50.00 gift card which was attached to this deal! "Are you kidding?" I was ecstatic as I clapped my hands. He was beaming from ear to ear!!! I could tell I made his day as he made mine and soon on Christmas morning, would be a totally surprised young man, 'beside himself' with the knowledge someone really cared for him who hadn't even met him. I couldn't thank him enough. With my gift card I shopped some more! I spent some time talking to Gabe's management staff in regard to him. He started a few months previous and how they are pleased with his performance! Kudos to this exceptionally incredible man at Target. Gabe has not been there long but is loved by all. I bought my girlfriend some beats fit pros for her bday. Naturally we opened them in excitement & to our dissatisfaction we were unable to get the right headphone to output any audio whatsoever. After attempting troubleshooting the issue, I went to return them from this location from which I originally purchased and the asset protection team denied my return claiming that I had attempted to return a different product because the VIN # printed on the headphones didn't match the receipt number & box. I calmly explained that I had done nothing more than opened the exact product I was in possession of & that it came directly from their electronics cabinet a couple days prior. The Store manager was called who then also denied my swap out request & referred me to the Customer Support phone line whose only solution was the exact same as in store. They even had me walk back into the store to readdress the store manager a second time without solving my issue again! I was then directed to contact Apple (the manufacturer) who confirmed that the VIN listed on the ear pods themselves typically do not share identical VIN numbers & that each headphone would display Uniquely. Also, the matching receipt & box would only correctly be listed on the Pod top lid (which it is correctly matching with the product in my possession.) I then was embarrassingly profiled as some sort of criminal & assumed to have been trying to pull a fast one by apparently attempting to return a swapped product? Keep in mind this is all happening while I'm wearing a neighboring businesses uniform & causing a huge ordeal involving multiple store associates who weren't even sure where the correctly placed VIN numbers were supposed to be located on the product in the first place. I have never experienced hassle with such a process as infuriating as Target's return policy, nor had my legitimate issue profiled and assumed as some sort of unlawful attempt to play the system. I have never felt the need to express my frustration with a shopping experience before but hopeful that I can save future potential shoppers the headache of dealing with such an incompetent corporation who scams their own shoppers. Do NOT purchase any electronics with confidence from this location without risk of being assumed as a criminal by trying to return the same product that was supplied from their own-selves. Worst target of all time. Everything I needed out of stock, looks like a flea market in the toy section. Super targets shouldn't be allowed to exist. Even employees aren't helpful when needing to find something. They have like 40 checkout lines and maybe 4 registers open. Almost got hit in the parking lot. And shopping center sucks to get out of. However, it was the only target within 50 miles that had a Taylor Swift Folklore vinyl still in stock so that made it worth the drive and the 3 stars. read more

This is a Super Target without a 'Super' staff! Big store, lots of customers but hardly any staff! I don't know how any Super Target can maintain on a makeshift staff! Below is an email I sent to Target executives detailing a horrifying and threatening confrontation from the Store Manager. The names have removed for safety. Target 's response can only be described as "ops" Saturday, July 20th began like every other weekly shopping trip to Target. The deli person and I spent 20 minutes or so talking about cars, specifically the 2020 Corvette. From there I went and got my prescription filled by April at the pharmacy and continued my shopping as planned. Unfortunately, it was not until the after checkout, did my shopping trip take a dark and disturbing turn. After checking out myself and the lovely cashier put the items in my canvas bags, as I headed out, I noticed there were a few errors on the receipt. Noticing the ham I purchased had the wrong sticker on it with the wrong UPC, I went back to the Deli to get it fixed. As expected, without any question "Eric" remembered what I purchased (and purchased every week), replaced the wrong sticker with the correct one and directed me back to customer service. The customer service counter was busier than normal, so I waited my turn until being called by "Y" (Store Manager). While attempting to explain what had happened, "Y" interrupted me and asked where the 2nd ham was. Realizing I can become short with people and that "Y" was also being very aggressive I tried to explain the situation again. While attempting to explain the situation a second time, it was clear "Y" was not listening and was being dismissive. I explained to "Y" that this is not the first time this has happened and if she didn't believe me, she could ask the deli person. Admittedly by this time I was frustrated and responded curtly to "Y", asking why she thinks I would try to scam or "steal" forty cents of ham. This is where "Y" raised her voice to me and accused me of being rude and aggressive. Confused by this I responded, "I am not raising my voice or using off-color language. How am I being rude or aggressive?" At this point, a person named "T" walked by and was summoned by "Y". Because "T" was not in any Target uniform, I believe he was an accomplice of hers. It was at this point she threatened me physically. I was told if I continued to speak in this manner, "T" would escort me out of the store. "T" stood off to the side, casting what could only be called "dirty looks" and taking what I considered to be an aggressive posture. Being clearly older than "T" and knowing heart disease is pervasive in my family, I took a deep breath and tried to calm my frayed nerves. At this point, I asked again what I was doing that was rude, and her response was nothing but inflammatory, saying again if I continue, she will have "T" will escort me out. By this point I was so shaken and frazzled in fear for my well-being, the best thing do was return the entire $41.50 purchase. As this was being done, I started to get a very uneasy feeling when I was asked to put the return on my Visa card. I asked "Y" to put the refund back on my Red card because that is what was used for the purchase, she told me it was not possible and needed to be returned on a credit card. Because this seemed it could potentially be fraudulent, I decided to take the cash back. read more

This Target is the most FRIENDLY Target I have ever been to!! Walking in the door you will be greeted by a warm welcome and big smile from Jane where she has tons of clean carts and masks waiting if you need them. Moving through the clean store all of the employees are more than willing to help you find anything you need! In produce the gentleman offered me sone fresh strawberries that he was putting out and asked how I was doing, Tommy in the meat department helped me pick out some great ribs and suggested some stuffed flounder as well. He gave me his person guarantee on the items and let me know that I could come back and see him if I didn't like anything. Checking out my cashier was super sweet and let me know that they like to keep a smile on their faces and that the Canton Target was her favorite. Benjamin, the customer service manager really knows the golden standard for how a store should be because everyone in that store was fabulous! Tar-jey! Target is your one-stop place for all things essential to your home, including groceries! I highly doubt there's many people left in the good ol' U.S.of A. that hasn't been into at least one Target in their lifetime. This location is set in the Canton Marketplace amidst a plethora of other chain retail stores, and the crowds speak for themselves! For this, I had to take away one star--I'm not a fan of crazy parking lots and while there are plenty of places to park, this shopping area is very popular on the weekends. Any other day, it's not too bad. The store itself is fairly large, well-organized, and very clean. Thankfully a Starbucks is included inside the store (I'm quite the coffee fanatic, though now that I'm in the South I'm hoping to make a transition to tea!), as well as a pizza place. Target is a great place to go for all your needs for a decent price, including groceries, and this location is def. one of the good ones. read more

As of 2010 I have heard that this is the largest Target in the entire world. I don't know if that's factual, but, lots of folks have told me that. A bigger one is being built somewhere right now though. Ehh.. This Target has a major problem with stocking it's shelves. I have gone in here to a specific spot that I've found something in before, and it's gone, or something else is in it's place, and they never restock it. I've gone in looking for simple things - like popcorn that is in 'seed' form, and the WORLDS biggest Target, doesn't have it. I have had their staff running up and down aisles looking for common things for me, and after several fails, I have given up on Target. Once, I took my watch into the jewelry department to get the battery replaced in it, and the chick ripped off the back of the watch, tore the rubber gasket, and bent the little inner parts. She stuffed in a new battery, and to my surprise, the watch was missing half of the display, and no longer beeped. She called over a manager and security, and they gave me a brand new watch of equal value, and I guess the security guy was there to.... umm.. watch? *funny? ha ha* I wish she would have just said come back tomorrow, cause I'm really the intimate apparel girl. Yes - it's nice and clean and huge, and the products are of better quality than it's rivals' carry. But, hell - they don't have it, and it costs way more money. I have comparison shopped there tons of times, and now I just drive one more exit north to do my shopping for half of the cost. Yes, HALF of the cost. read more

I am not a huge fan of warehouse stores, but this one isn't too bad. If we ignore all the trouble that Target has been having with securing customer data, and focus on just the qualities of this store, I think we can be pretty fair. One thing you will immediately notice is that this store is much cleaner than other warehouse stores. I suppose you could chalk that up to the fact that facility is fairly new, but still that is worth mentioning in my book. The staff are also much friendlier here than I am accustomed to at other warehouse stores. I am not sure why, I assume they pay more on average and have better benefits, but I have no facts to back that up. But having a happy staff is what keeps me coming back. They are also about the same, price wise, with their competitors. I'm not sure if they can keep it up, but it certainly seems like a fight worth watching. All that being said, I am extremely concerned about their failure to secure customer data. I will be paying in cash until they can regain my trust. I suggest you do the same. read more

I was new to the area and my phone had just died, while refusing to charge. I had just gotten an upgrade so I was looking for a Verizon Cellular Sales store to get a replacement. I was pretty lost without having access to the GPS on my phone so I walked into Target to get directions. The self-check out attendant was incredibly nice and gave efficient and accurate directions. Christmas week. They have (3) THREE people watching the lanes (2) TWO OPEN LANES, to see when a line is shorter 6 or fewer people) so they can tell you lane "X" only has 5 people waiting if you want to move down there. U-scan had all registers full & 7 people waiting in line, and they have (2) TWO other lanes open. TWO, but 3 people to see if one line gets shorter . Prices have gotten Much higher than Target used to be. Was a time that people used it for Walmart that didn't want the crowds or to get around Hispanics. But it's gotten so expensive, it can't even he used as a Walmart anymore, it's more like a "Whole Food". Most of the meat in the case is mark down because it's the evening before or DAYBOF expiration. I shopped one day for 55 min. I found 9 items with a bright red/white "Sale" sign on it. 4 were exactly the same as the shelf price, 3 were anywhere from $6-$22 dollars HIGHER than the regular shelf price. I e en checked that one on the scanners in the store. Itlllokk said "reg price $124.00. Sale Price $146.00. They had marked it up $22 to be "on sale". REALLY SAD.... Usually you could find most electronics and appliances on good deals. But now, AMAZON Adj/Or Walmart beats Target by anywhere from $10-)12, up to as much as $84 for the EXACT sake grand, style, size, model, etc. Really have to pay attention on the dates producys. Things like dressing, condiments, spices, etc. not at ALL unusual to get dressing 1-4 months past expiration. Same with dairy. Mot quite as long. But quite often 1-2 weeks. I guess the good thing is, once you get higher proced, expired products (boxes almost always already opened) and you hope everything that's supposed to be with it is....and you get your Lmost expires near and your dated products to the register, they'll be sure to have 3-4 people standing around watching vto see when one of the 2-3 lanes that are opened gets shorter than 6-8 people. Lots of "workers" stocking or inventorying the shelves, but RARELY does one ask if you need help. If you ask them they acted pissed because you've interrupted them and secondly, they rarely can tell you an answer. In 2 1/2 years thins store has gone WAY down. Discrimination is how I would start this review. Although, its hard to identify this it can be clearly shown if you're in this store. On May 15 I entered the store to make a purchase prior to coming in there a few times I noticed I would get followed. On this day it was more than obvious because when I got to the register Carol came over and stood by the cashier as she rung me up. Meanwhile after completing my transaction another older lady who was also a team leader came and started going through my bags. I then proceeded to question their customer service tactics. They both walked away with no answers. Well, I thought maybe a bad day. Another day I came into the same store and immediately Carol started again but instead of leaning over this employee and staring down the transaction she began to gossip to another employee, whom I know about how she has to watch me, and I use coupons. I was very upset considering she was gossiping about customers and being stereotyped. On June 6 I came back to speak with a store manager. Latoya the manager on duty denied my request and like previous times I reached out to Customer Relations. I haven't received any follow up. On June 6 I forgot to add Latoya was leaving the store but when I came in she rushed back in hurried to the back and on the walkie notified everyone the " girl with the coupons is back." She was very rude when speaking with me. I couldn't believe the level of professionalism and tone of these team leaders. I have always been a long term customer but after several encounters of being followed, bags check(when did this start as a new policy), being told by fellow employees I am not liked I could care less about spending a penny in this store. The customer relations is unreal, they compensate their nasty behaviors by giving out gift cards, which I decline. I still have not received any call backs. So now I will take to social media, word of mouth, writing letters and any other form of communication. If I can't get to the leaders I will get in their pockets. read more
