They have little coffee stations, water and soda machines along with snack tables to keep their shoppers hydrated and energized. The employees are so nice and polite. We saw interesting one of a kind clothing, with one favorite - a woman's long sleeve tee with what looks like hand drawn art of a VW Bug with a Christmas tree. We saw sofas and side chairs, pillows and mugs. Prices were low to high depending on your taste and the item's craftsmanship. Everything was entrancing. I grew up very close to Amish country, in Northeastern Ohio, and my parents and grandparents both had interactions with the Amish. My parents had them do some woodwork in our house because they were known for their fine woodworking skills. We entered the store intending to just check it out but they had exactly what we needed and the prices were reasonable. Our sales person was very knowledgeable and she explained the pieces and how they could be customized according to our needs. She explained that each piece was custom made to order by a single craftsman and that each piece was individually made. It was definitely not your cookie cutter Asian imports carried by most furniture stores, even high end ones these days.
