Well, as it turns out, the post COVID buying spree has turned supply chains upside down, coupled with people buying as much stuff as they can get their hands on, and you end up with delays. We quickly found the style of outdoor furniture, but the color we wanted was out-of-stock and were told up front that there would be an 8-12 week wait relating to the supply chain issues. Having a new house built, I didn't want anything else. We paid a deposit and were called back at about 5 weeks later letting me know that the chairs had arrived and were assembled, ready to pick up. Nice. To be fair, we drove all around the southeast looking for the "right chair" for our porch, and we always found something similar, but didn't sit right, or felt cheap. The brands that Crooked Creek had spanned most budgets, but I wanted the best. It also helps that our money is being spent locally, with what appears to be a family-owned business with various family members working at this location. A few other businesses could take a lesson from our experience. Simple, direct communication works wonders when spending a chunk of change for a comparable item that can be found online for much less. I feel like if we had any issue with these chairs, Crooked Creek would stand by their sale. We will definitely be back soon to order more for the other porch.

And today I just got an unexpected 30% off from the manager after a 15% discount I saw online and was hoping to get didn't apply in store. I was super disappointed, but that 30% coming out of nowhere was the cherry on top of an already perfect day. Moreover I got in the store 3 minutes before closing. They were all patient and nice even as it was taking longer than expected to find the item I was looking for. Even if not for the items, the customer service on it own is enough to make me love the store. Having wonderful items is a bonus. I'll keep coming and keep recommending this store. It is definitely not something I was used to seeing growing up and living in another country. Let's be French people aren't that much into customer service and us customers are okay with it and used to it. But here in USA... it's usually a big deal and I'm thankful for it. I was shopping at the perfume counter, and the woman at the dressing room came up to me and was letting me know that you guys sell cologne on the other side of the store . As a male, I am not interested as much into the cologne because a lot of it is just fake made up stuff (literally saw a fake channel bleu ) versus the perfume is actual brands. I've been a model for 5 years and love to try to find different new brands/designers. And specifically that day I was looking for something for the fall since my typical fall scent ran out. I said I'm aware thank you and tried to continue shopping. Me thinking that she would just leave me alone. She just stand there and just was staring at me for about a minute. I got weirded out and went to the back to shop for what I was actually there for. I came back to look at the perfume and found one I actually liked and enjoyed. I looked up and she was just giving me this weird death stare. It was just very weird and uncomfortable. This micro aggression is just very odd for no reason I left the store and right as I was about to leave I looked behind me and I could just see her all the way from the dressing rooms just looking at me as if I'm some criminal. This is very weird and very odd. We all have our differences and we need to leave that at home. It's a very unprofessional way to do things. At the end of the day it's a store and I am free to buy and shop whatever I would like. It's one thing trying to be helpful and recommend something to a customer, but that's not what happened . Plus, you had lots of go backs to do and plenty of other customers to help. I know this review is probably not much help for an average customer. But I posted this for manager/ associates.

I usually expect furniture stores to have employees interact more than I'd prefer but in this case there was zero help which was worse. Nice selection, though.
