Such a cool decor shop!! If it's a cute, adorable and unique home decor item you're looking for then the Cotton Mill Exchange in Canton Ga is where you need to be. I'm not sure how many vendor booths they have. Maybe 200 or more!! And every one is more adorable thank the one before. If you can't find it here then they haven't made it yet. Lol. I was impressed at how clean and organized this giant of a place was. And how well it's being run. They have little coffee stations, water and soda machines along with snack tables to keep their shoppers hydrated and energized. The employees are so nice and polite. Even if you're not an antique mall kind of girl, trust me -- you're going to love Cotton Mill Exchange! I have been here probably a half dozen times, and it's one of my favorite places to browse. Cotton Mill Exchange is 45,000 square feet - yes, it just keeps going and going and going - filled with furniture, home decor, clothing, and accessories from local artisans and merchants. However, it's all beautifully curated and merchandised with no sign of the overwhelming and cluttered vibe of the traditional antique mall. I'd recommend a minimum of an hour to quickly browse Cotton Mill Exchange. But to be honest, just make a half day of it! With so many new shops and restaurants opening up at The Mill on Etowah, this is quickly becoming an area where you'll want to make multiple stops. read more

First off, let me start this review off with a tip or two - Make sure you wear comfy shoes and hydrate appropriately before coming in, as you are about to do a lot of walking! Located near downtown Canton, in an old cotton mill that is easily 100+ years old, is The Cotton Mill Exchange! It's not just an antique market, it's a full blown experience from entry to exit! With close to 50,000 sq ft of space and around 200 different vendors - this place is packed with antiques, knick knacks, clothes, candles, perishables, art, signage, furniture...I could go on, but you get the gist - this place is packed full of stuff! With an antique shop, the inventory clearly changes on a daily basis, but each vendor has a specific variety of items that they sell - so, if you see the style of item you like, there is a pretty good chance it will show up at some point! The layout here is perfect, you would think with this much inventory it would be cramped and crowded, but turns out you would think wrong! With the expansive size, they did a really great job laying out the size of each vendor "booth" and ensured that the aisles were plenty wide enough. Upon entry, you are immediately greeted by the register and a small shop - then you turn to the right and the vintage/antique world sits at your feet! There are about 8 - 10 booths in this first section, along with tables of products down the center. Additionally, on the day I visited, they had a snack/water cart set up, which was a nice little add - they keep you pumped with sugar from the cookies to keep you going and provide water to keep you hydrated! Fool proof plan to ensure you can make it around the entire place! Once you roam around the entrance booths, you head to the next space through the doorways. At this point, you are in the main part of the market at this point. If you take a right and wonder up and down, you can create a pretty natural flow to ensure you don't miss anything, just another tip! The service here was excellent. They have staff wondering around to check on you as you wonder about and if they see you holding anything, they offer to take it up front so you don't have to carry with you. Then once you make it back up front, they are super helpful, friendly and genuinely nice. Our visit was mere weeks after they opened, so there was still plenty of booth space left to be occupied...which means that even more antiques are coming and we are pumped with knowing that!! Overall, this place was beautiful, functional, and in a development that is eventually going to change the face of downtown Canton! While Canton is a little hike for us, we will certainly make it point to visit as often as possible!! read more

Most of these consignment halls are just tchotchke dumping grounds. This is something different. There's clearly curation going on. There are antiques and fine crafts for sale. Need an interesting couch? They have that too. You will probably find *something* you didn't even think you needed. read more

Nice store with great products. Unfortunately, the ladies at the register are not friendly. I was the next customer in line and needed to borrow a tape measure. One lady was texting on her phone. She looked up and walked away. Two other ladies were attending to the one customer in front of me. One lady was wrapping a customer's purchases while the other lady rang her up. I thought that when the lady finished wrapping the customers purchases, she would help me. Instead, she ignored me. The cashier motioned to the customer behind me to ring up her purchases and skipped over me, leaving me puzzled as to why three different salespeople ignored me when I was prepared to make a purchase. Fun place to stroll and shop next to Reformation Brewery. Wide open spaces for walking through. Bring and wear a mask or option to buy there. Great selection of home decor, furniture, accessories, clothing and art. There's something for everyone's taste and nicely curated with not a lot of the same look which is nice for a change. Went browsing with a friend today. Found a sweater I wanted to buy and was eyeing a few more things, but wanted to think about them. I carried the sweater with me while I browsed. An employee was suddenly everywhere I was inside the store. If I turned around she turned around. It started to become very obvious that she was following me. There were lots of shoppers present. Many with carts. No one was following them around. I walked back to the front of the store and returned the sweater. Then I went to a different part of the store. She was no longer following me. As we headed out of the store to leave she was now sitting behind the counter. I want to support local, but not when local is that suspicious. read more

What Wow! What a surprise. The place inside is filled with cute shops with lots of goodies. Each booth is decorated so precious and the place was buzzing. There is plenty of space to rent if you are interested. The building is super cool and you can feel the history. Love the sculpture out front, very touching. It's neat to be next to a brewery. Plan to stay awhile because there is so much to see. The outside needs some work but they were working hard on planting and all. Would be nice to pave the road but otherwise, super proud of Canton for pushing the limits and expanding our great small community. Here's to Small business and much success! Edit - I posted the review below a few months ago. They either read the review or more people complains about the music. The music is now tolerable in this place and it's a mix. I spent an hour in the store without contemplating jumping out the window.. This place has great decorations and goods. The music literally drives me out of the door of this place. I can handle ten minutes of "screaming 1950s" and I'm ready to to rip my hair out. I don't need modern music but spending anytime on this place makes me want to jitter bug and put on a poodle skirt and I'm a man. In May, I was in the store and not only were the employees wearing masks but at the entrance, they provided antibac soap and disposable masks with a sign encouraging folks to wear them. So i thought that today my daughter and I cpuld shop there safely. For some bizarre reason, the employees weren't wearing them at the front checkout . Not sure what changed (obviously numbers much worse than in May) so I won't be patronizing this business until after the pandemic. Unbelievable that they aren't being considerate toward their customers during this difficult time. So ridiculous that they were selling face masks on the front counter but not wearing them too. We purchased items but wished I had turned around and walked out. read more

I am a fabric craft vendor who has successfully done shows in NY, PA, and now GA. I was having trouble applying for a spot on line, so I emailed them to see if I can get an application in person. The person who choses the vendors said that was fine. When I emailed her back, saying I walked the store and saw no one with fabric crafts like mine, and would be excited to be a vendor, she emailed me back. She said, don't bother applying, we are very fussy about who we chose for home decor! She never even bothered to see any of my pictures, or even ask what type of items I make. My items are all holiday themed, there is not 1 vendor that has holiday items, and I hand sew all my items with quality fabrics and materials. The website says they sell unique items made by quality artisans, where most of the items I saw were retail produced items being resold, or rusty antiques which are not an artisan produced products. read more
