The staff were friendly and decent product on hand to look at but really disappointed with the product that's as delivered. Out of the 3 living room pieces , 2 were fairly damaged. The kitchen table was also damaged. Now have to wait a week for a tech to come "look" at the items

So much smaller seats. Color is correct but it's so much smaller! We specifically requested oversized seats when ordering.

Long story short, our order for furniture was not entered correctly. In turn, delivering the wrong furniture. After being told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery, no updates were given and 10 weeks later it was delivered. We ordered the oversized seats, manual recline in gray. What we received were the regular size seats in gray. No big deal right? Just contact them to fix it and get the correct furniture. We were sooooo wrong. The runaround we got, and are still going through! Customer service listens to my husbands concerns and for some reason, put in notes, we had an issue with the furniture being put together in the driveway. Where did THAT even come from? That was never discussed and we had threshold delivery which means they don't put it together (she should have seen that in her notes). So she blatantly did not listen to the customer and put in whatever notes she deemed would work. She also told my husband the delivery men would be back out that same day to collect the wrong furniture. I ended up going to the physical store and speaking to the store manager, who was very pleasant. She explained how the order was improperly ordered and that she could have the correct furniture ordered, shipped and delivered to us on April 22. However, a case had to be opened and go through the proper channels to and be approved by corporate. She explained corporate had 24-48 hours to reach out to us with a response. It has now been 4 days and no word from corporate or the store letting us know what is going on with our furniture. We have this furniture in our home we did not order, we do not want, end tables on back order, and an outstanding case that is lingering in the air. I went in today and spoke to a manager, Jessica. Very unpleasant young woman. She first told me the furniture I originally wanted to purchase wasn't even available. When I'm turn, I stated the store manager, the previous Monday had found the furniture we ordered and put them all in the cart and gave us a delivery date. So why could Jessica NOT be able to find the furniture? Untrained? She then told me she could get this furniture, after magically finding it, but delivery wouldn't be until June! That is simply not acceptable. Not when 4 days prior I could have had said furniture on the 22 of April. I then told her to cancel the order, the end tables, pick up these loveseats and refund my money. We'll buy at a reputable company who treats customers with respect and not just a number and who listens to their concerns rather than what 'they' hear. I asked when I should expect a refund. Jessica tells me when the product is returned. I can cal corporate. I said, you should call corporate bc I'm the upset customer and I want this stuff picked up to get my refund so I can buy my furniture. She reluctantly called corporate. As did I. She asked if I had gotten through to anyone, I said no. She proceeded to hang up her phone. I asked why she did that and she told me she can't tie up the line. WHAT?? I am an upset customer and you can't hold up a phone line to help me out?!?! Very unprofessional. These people have no idea what sales and customer service is all about. She apologized ONE time and in a very low voice. She was very disrespectful and we will NEVER return to this store. Word of mouth is the worst and she could have made this situation so much better. Instead made it worse.

They are also very upfront about the effects that Covid has (and is still having) on the factories, warehouses and distribution of the products. Building a new house and needed to furnish a bedroom. Maria and the staff were extremely accommodating and answered a steady stream of questions. They offered several options in a variety of price ranges. I ended up furnishing two bedrooms for less than my original budget for one. My house wasn't quite ready for me to move in, so Maria offered to store all of my furniture until I was ready. We stayed in constant communication and when the final inspections were finished and the Certificate of Occupancy was issued, my furniture was delivered the next day. For a nominal fee, white glove delivery service is available. They showed up when scheduled, brought everything inside, assembled and set up both bedrooms of furniture, cleared away all packing materials and made sure that I was happy with everything. Great staff! They pride themselves on quality products as reasonable prices. They offer products from a well known furniture store, but at a much lower cost. I had shopped for a recliner at the name brand store and found one that I liked. Being a cost conscious shopper, I also priced that same recliner at a local "furniture outlet" store and was thrilled to find the recliner there for about $300 less than the name brand place. When Maria asked if I had checked their price, I admitted that hadn't. I gave the staff the brand and model number of the recliner and they returned with a price almost $200 less than the "furniture outlet" place. Yep, you read that correctly. Red Gate Home Furnishings "out the door" price was almost $500 less than the name brand home furnishing store for the exact same recliner. Now you know why I'm thrilled to find this furniture gem and why this review is so lengthy. If you are ready to shop for your home, do yourself a favor and check this place out. I'm sure you'll be as happy with them as I am. They get the "Fat Guy Two Thums Up" award from me!
