It seems small compared to other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. However they have a decent variety of things, women's coats and jackets, active wear, pants, tops/blouses, intimate apparel. After some perusing, I found what I had came for. The quality of the outfit didn't look as good as it did online. Nonetheless I grabbed it and a couple other blouses and tried everything on in the fitting room. They had an attendant at the fitting room who was helpful and it was easy to get in and out of the dressing room. The checkout process was fairly quick and when asked the cashier let me know what their return policy was. I had until January (it was earlier this week when I purchased my items, so early November), with the receipt, all tags, and the items obviously never worn. I'm not sure if this is their usual return window or a special one for the holidays but its more than enough time to return something if you need to and I did so this was helpful. When I returned my items a couple hours later, after finding something that better fit my needs, the return process was a breeze and they refunded my money back to my original form of payment.

I was so embarrassed to show up to the mall in my work clothes but I was like eh who cares it's Wednesday afternoon but was I wrong. anyways me and my sister show up we're looking for jeans and shirts then we go into the fitting room. I will say my sister was taking a while so kindly through out the time I'm asking her nicely to hurry so we can look at other places. Then 2 min later (I'm so mad I didn't get her name but this blonde old lady looks over 40 chubby (or if she reads this fat) she must be the manager but who ever she is who was working January 26 after 4pm. ) starts knocking saying there can only be one per fitting room and so I kindly tell my sister to hurry and then 20 seconds later she rudely tells me to get out because there can only be one in the fitting room again but more rudely so jm thinking "she really wanna be like this right now??" . And So I walk out and I tell her I was helping her and I was helping her bc I was I refolding the clothes she already tried on so I wait out the fitting the room and she stands there looking at me ugly THE WHOLE TIME (I'm in my work clothes tired so I guess look like I don't have money to her even tho we had Victoria secret and other bags) anyways she made me feel so embarrassed and discriminated. Not even anyone to look up, make eye contact, smile and go back to what they were doing. Their clothes are cute and I was impressed with their selection but I don't think I'll be back. The prices for the clothes are very reasonable but the people working were more worried about where the taco person was going to set up and /or the photo Booth we're setting up then making sure I was good. Most Lane Bryant store I go to usually have the clearance panties separated out in the store. I asked them where were the clearance panties and they brought out the huge black container. One associate told us to look through it to find our size. We looked for just a few seconds and I told my niece that this is not acceptable. It would have been better for help. When my niece checked out associate told her she had a $10 reward, it didn't go through and associate just said "we can't use it". It would have been nice to explain it. My nice was looking for a bra and no associate came to help, it took us about 20 minutes to find her size. Customer service needs to be improved.

I tracked them down and asked to be fitted. Clearly, I was an annoyance to them. She took us to the front desk and measured us and left. We knew exactly what bra we wanted. We went searching for it and could not find our size. By then my friend was already ready to leave. I went again asking for assistance in finding our size and style. Again was made to feel like a terrible inconvenience to them. She could not find our sizes, went to the back and found the closest thing. By then we were done and walked out. On top of that, I was incorrectly stopped at the door for suspected theft. Staff did apologize, but the overall experience felt uncomfortable and rigid. Between the return policy starting at shipment and the in-store incident, this wasn't a good customer experience. They have very shady return policies.

This employee came up to us asking to see a receipt before we even reached the door , instead of asking can she check for buzzers . We were the only black people in the store. She had a nasty attitude and didn't even apologize. She's Hispanic with glasses . Didn't want to give us her name but I surely did call corporate and started a claim. Just because me or my son are black doesn't mean we are stealing or can't afford nice things. This was very distasteful and embarrassing. As a state employee I am disgusted.
