They don't have display cases, but huge boxes of merchandise as seen on Amazon (not TV). I don't think it's related to the internationally known e-commerce website. Alibaba is also the main character from the famous Arabian folk tale. Any ways, as I was saying, don't think all products from China look cheap. They're seriously made for high end consumers. Like cell phone accessories brand LeYi. I never knew this brand until I bought a cell phone case from Amazon. They got unique design and functionality. Yesterday July 31 was their first day. I arrived around 3 pm. They were busy unloading and setting up the shop. There were few customers. Employees greeted everyone as we came in. Prices are still handwritten on the crates. I saw $1, $2, $3, $4, $5... But I saw nice stuff in the crates. Oh, they take cash and credit cards. I wasn't planning to stay long because I could overspend for trinkets. Some items can become customized gifts for businesses. I'll be back when we can safely meet in person. On one of my visits, the employee initiated an altercation with a customer, took off his green shirt and was ready to fight the customer. This store also tends to be closed randomly during business hours. In my last visit, there were boxes everywhere and it looked quite tacky. Also, there were several bags of pretzels I was shopping that had a December expiration date...on February 8th. I don't expect much here but I keep coming for the cheap(er) items and convenience. This location is in a low-rent area, which can be a difficult part of town late at night, but is also a lovely and exciting part of town full of great food. It's a little run down and a little small, but there are some good deals to be found in the aisles and Barbi spent a good amount of time exploring, and enjoyed it a lot. The quality of goods is questionable. I believe they created an illusion to attract local residents. But if you look closely, there have defects. I bought a pair of sweat pants few years ago. After first wash, it became a kid's size. It went with my donation pile for Goodwill. Another incident, a planter splitting at the rim after I put soil in there. So buyer beware. Check your purchase before paying. If you expect to use restroom here, don't bother. You won't find any public restrooms in this part of neighborhood.
