Stopped in on a Monday morning for a quick bite before driving out to zip line. Ordered the steel-cut Oatmeal with strawberry and cinnamon crunch and a California Panini. My lady friend ordered a Fireball Panini. The oatmeal was good - not seeming to be sweetened on it's own, so the cinnamon and strawberries helped. California Panini was solid, good morning sandwich. I stopped in on a Saturday for lunch and was not disappointed. I have been wanting to try more healthy options and chose the sun dried tomato panini and cream of broccoli soup. Panini was unlike any i have tried or seen before. It resembled more of an oversize bagel. However i have to say that it was the best panini i have had by far. Panini had mushrooms, red onions and more. Soup was average and i also had dark roast coffee that was probably one of the better dark roast i have had, mellow and smooth tasting. I will return for veggie panini, dark roast coffee, and try some other soup choices. Service was good and also friendly. read more

I did the medium 'create your own' panini. Steak, mushroom, onion, Swiss, with jalapeños and chipotle mayo. Hot grilled right before your eyes. Tasty would be an understatement... it was savory! I came here yesterday and made my own personal small panini. I did chicken, pesto, mozzarella, roasted onion, spinach and tomato. It was absolutely fantastic and fresh. The line was long but the service was extremely fast and kept everyone moving along at a great pace.... I hardly had time to pick my sandwich before it was my turn to order. Very convenient indeed. Was at a conference in Springfield and decided to walk over to Hot Table for lunch. Boy, was I glad I did. Bright, clean and very welcoming atmosphere, not to mention the super friendly staff. I was overwhelmed with the menu as you can get just about anything you want. All the fresh ingredients you can choose are right there in front of you. I decided to order the buffalo chicken panini. I was not disappointed. I chose the medium ciabatta bread. It comes with a ranch dressing blue cheese crumbles, cheese, chicken, lettuce and as much hot sauce as you want. They brush it with oil and grill it to perfection. The inside was tasty and gooey not messy. The medium size is more than enough for lunch. I bought some rosemary and olive oil potato chips and a raspberry flavored lemonade. There is ample seating inside and even some tables outside. Can't wait to go again! read more

Delicious! My first time here and I had a BBQ chicken salad (deluxe). I added cucumbers for no extra charge but it has a great assortment of veggies already. Think Subway but with better bread and fresher looking toppings! I stopped in with an out of town friend who is a vegetarian and her husband who is not and everyone (even my two kids) were able to find something tasty. You have the option to choose any of their signature sandwiches or to go down the line to pick and choose what you would like. They also have a great variety of soups as well. The staff was friendly and smiling. Interacting with each other and the customers cheerfully. I only wish that they had a small side salad option for a side instead of just chips or soup. Went to hot table today for the first time as I recently got a new job in the building. I placed my order online at 11:45, and my pickup time was 12:15. I got down a little late, around 12:20 and still had to wait about 10 more minutes for my order. The panini itself was very good, although the broccoli cheddar soup I ordered was kind of bitter. Not sure if I'm just not used to it or if it was a bad batch. I got lemonade as well (highly recommend!). Overall my experience was good & the food was 4/5 due to the soup. I agree with another review, this place is more of a Panini Boutique. They have some creative panini offerings in a variety of sizes. I'm sure you can find something on the menu, unless you stick with a vegan diet. I've gotten three different panini's from Hot Table, with the same result. Panini's are overstuffed and piled too high with toppings, which creates for an utter mess when taking the first bite. Each sandwich ended with a everything falling out, leaving behind bread and the condiment. I really wish the staff would take the time to actually eat one of their own sandwiches and realize what a mess they are. There's so much potential here, but I just simply cannot risk getting another panini only to have the good stuff end up on my plate or worse, my lap. For the price I am paying for a small panini, I expect the sandwich to remain a sandwich. read more

Terrible service. I placed an online order and the staff completely ignored it. I was offered a cookie instead of the wrap I paid for, when I couldn't wait for them to make a new one (note- they didn't even have wraps at the counter, they had to go get them in the back). I stopped by Hot Table for a tasty mozzarella and tomato panini and was thoroughly pleased. They make the panini fresh in front of you and ask you if you want modifications (so if I didn't want balsamic vinegar, I could have opted out, but I didn't.) The panini had the perfect blend of mozzarella, basil, tomato, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, and it was grilled crisp and delicious. I complemented my panini with some rosemary and olive oil potato chips and a blackberry Izze soda, and I sat comfortably near the back of the restaurant and enjoyed a very relaxing, tasty, filling lunch. Hot Table used to be my favorite lunch spot until my recent trips there. I go to the location on Main Street in Springfield. I received two separate 25 dollar gift cards with receipts attached from Christmas. I was not able to use these gift cards. The staff could not ring my order, stating the first card had zero balance. I showed the staff my receipts and they said they would "call the owner." I gave the employee my name and phone number but no response, go figure. I handed the staff my second 25 dollar gift card and they told me I had zero balance. It was pretty frustrating. Yesterday I went back to Hot Table to try to see if my gift cards were working. The staff tried to ring up my coffee with my first gift card. She stated there was no balance and threw my card away. I told her I wanted to keep the card but she did not listen. She was clearly lacking customer service skills. She rang up the order using my second gift card and stated I only had 6 dollars left. She handed me the second card and said bye when I insisted on speaking with a manager. She stated there was no manager working. So essentially I paid 19 dollars for a cup of coffee, along with the other 25 dollar gift card that I am not able to use because it was taken from me by an employee. This is the second time I asked to speak with a manager but there was not one on site or one who was willing to return my phone call which is very unprofessional. As much of a headache this has been I realize that there are two sides to each story and that there has to be an explanation for this discrepancy. I would hope the management of Hot Table would be able to resolve this in a timely manner because now it's turning into an inconvenience. I would much rather continue going to Hot Table as I have always done but if these gift cards are not replaced with the correct amount, I feel that this is one less customer you will have. read more

I was just in town for a two day conference and after reading about this place for my first nights dinner I ended up eating there again the next day! I got the buffalo panini both times and it was exceptionally good both times - and keep in mind I'm from buffalo. I found the prices to be extremely reasonable given the portion size and the chocolate chip cookie was down right gigantic. If I'm ever in town again I'll definitely be back! read more

Choices are limited (small or large panini or salad, with or without soup) but there is alot of variety to be had. I ordered the Chicken Pesto small panini, which was plenty for an individual lunch. Prices are a little steep but the panini is well made, to your liking (akin to Subway). Rated this "Meh, I've experienced better." because I have experienced better, at the same location, 2 months ago. Food is decent like most Hot Table locations; however, experience is trending in the wrong direction. It seems the "shape" of the ciabatta bread has recently changed to round only. How convenient for the owner's pockets that this results in a medium being less food then before. The sandwich is hardly worth $7.99 anymore. Barely enough to make a turd in my opinion. Also, punch cards have increased to 12 punches needed to get a free sandwich from the previous 10. Next thing you know, it'll be 1.5 punch Tuesday instead of two punch Tuesday. Just a few ways management has decided to raise the prices without directly raising the prices. Such an injustice! read more

Something I learned : order your food with the sandwich artists and then make your way down to the entrance to pay for the meal. And it's a great idea because your will see the fresh ingrediants piled high onto your creation. A lot of people order wraps here but I got a panini. The small is 3/4 of the large in bun size. The turkey honey dijon was piled high with shaved turkey and it was delicious! The vegetables were also very fresh and when walking by - it made me want to get salad because it all looked so fresh! Their soups looked good but for around $9 I got a large iced coffee with a sandwich for a great lunch! The atmosphere is also very inviting with plenty of cushioned lounge chairs and also tons of booths! It just invites you to sit and stay a while. Best panini place in town, almost makes me forget all about Panera Bread. The raspberry lemonade is amazing, the steak and cheese and buffalo chicken are absolutely delicious. Tried this place for the first time yesterday and loved it. Panini sandwiches made fresh to order in front of you, soups, salads, and amazing looking desserts. I tried the classic veggie panini, which was awesome, and the lobster bisque, also very good. A nice selection of chips ( I loved the rosemary and olive oil) and beverages too.
