Turns out Yelp had the hours wrong but I stumbled across this place when walking around. I got myself a simple seafood salad wrap. The ingredients tasted fresh and the staff was very friendly. Knew what I was going to order before I even stepped foot in the place. Chicken Pesto Panini. Wish I had asked what else was in it because my gut told me there would be tomatoes and I was right. I picked them out after the fact. Sandwich was good, had it on wheat bread. Did not really fill me up though, even eating the oatmeal cookie afterwards. I also ordered a large beef stew to take with me to work. Ate it cold which I didn't mind. I enjoyed it. Overall, I think if I were to order a chicken pesto sandwich I would personally get it from hot table. Will be back though to try another soup and another sandwich.

If you don't know what you're looking for, they have combos already set up for you on the menu that have no-brainer deliciousness. Also, the soups are so good. I had the cheddar broccoli and I have zero regrets . This is a lot because they were many soup choices. Speaking of choices, if you have never had the Tractor brand of tea and juice combos, it is better than any other thing you're going to get in a store or fridge case. My steak was overcooked and the Brussels sprouts were hard and undercooked. At first, we told our waitress everything was okay, but after more discussion toward the end of the meal, we decided the expensive steak was truly overdone and mentioned it. Our waitress was incredibly apologetic and immediately offered to have a new steak made and to take it off the bill. The manager was also so helpful and amazing in making things right. Even though the meal itself wasn't up to their usual standard, the way the situation was handled proves exactly why we keep coming back. Truly impeccable service and still one of our favorite spots.

Jaime, my server, was exceptional and super friendly as she kept checking in on me throughout my meal. I ordered calamari and a small pizza. She questioned my decision as maybe I needed something larger. Who are you kidding? The small pizza was a 14 inch pie with 8 slices for lil' ol' me!! Now I understood her question as in order a slice or two!! Regardless, the pizza was extraordinary and definitely had that stretched dough and hand toss feel and taste to it; fluffy yet strong enough to handle my carnivore toppings. The calamari... ay marron! First time I had it that didn't taste like it came from a pack of frozen bits. It tasted fresh and lightly coated and fried golden brown with a serving of home made marinara sauce. Red Rose is an Italian kitchen serving up the standard fares most folks are accustomed to, but I came here for the pie and left with a box to feed me for the next two days. Great place for locals and a pleasant experience for those visiting Springfield.

We ordered a cucumber salad, chicken panini with onions (I didnt realize that caramelized onions was an option!), The Green Goddess was delicious....with fresh veggies (spinach, mozzarella, ricotta and spinich with avocado and pesto) and incredible taste! Little Havana was our last choice and that included roasted pork, shaved ham, swiss cheese, pickles and dijon mustard. Again a big hit...delicious and some to take for later! We sat down and one of the tables and enjoyed our lunch and the incredible lunch crowd! Lots of drinks to choose from, as well. I am so glad that we made it here.
