When we decided that pizza was what we wanted, my friends immediately said Maricio's and I now know why. We ordered several pizzas for take out, everything from gluten free crust to fully loaded and each of them were piping hot and delicious! The staff is friendly, and I love small towns where people know each other by name. For this South Florida gal who misses the thin crust pizza that Maricio's makes, it was one of the best dinners I had during my visit!

The service was great and waitress was very friendly. The place was clean, nothing over the top. It's not huge, but could accommodate a larger group of 8-10 people if needed. There's nice seating at the bar with TVs and a wide selection of drinks available as well. We were dining with a friend from TX so he wanted to try the cheese nuggets and mozzarella sticks. Both were good, I would get the cheese nuggets again for sure! For our main meal we dined on 2 thin crust pizzas which were fantastic! If you're not familiar with Maricio's the sauce goes on top, so make sure to order extra cheese which you can't go wrong with! PS. There's no changing table for little ones, but you can manage on the sink counter in the bathroom.

My only nitpicks are that the pizza is kinda hard to hold because of its flimsiness, which is just par for the course with this style of pizza, and the pepperoni was really greasy, which is par for the course for any pizza of any kind. Also, bonus points for a quiet, inviting atmosphere, making it sensory-friendly for my Nana and I who are on the autism spectrum.

In addition to a mint flavor burst ice cream cone I ordered a cheeseburger and wonton mozzarella sticks. The wonton mozzarella sticks are an incredible value given how many you get for the price. Crispy on the outside and had good cheese pull. The cheeseburger, which had a nice flaky bun, had excellent flavor and is one of the better burgers I've had in the area. It made me sad that I hadn't visited Jim's Place before. I wanted the blue goo flavor of flavor burst, but they were out of it that day, so I went for mint instead. It wasn't super strong like I had hoped, but you could taste the mint. I would probably get a different flavor next time (hopefully they have blue goo available at that point). The gentleman that took my order and made my food (who I assume was Jim?) was very kind. I originally ordered to dine in and switched to to-go as he was bringing my food out because of an urgent matter. He boxed it up for me and never once had an issue with the sudden change. I appreciated it very much.

Despite the fact the restaurant alone was small and the tables were close together, the staff was friendly and very busy. I really enjoyed how they decorated the walls with nostalgic memories such as the gumball machine, 70's music, beanie baby crane and a lot of "my name is Jim" tags for everyone to remember. I would move the tables out at a little further for people who want a lot of space. Also, there needs to be a parking lot made behind or next to the restaurant so that no one will have to parallel park and walk there. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody who loves delicious food at great prices.

I drove up for dinner one night and got cheese curds in addition to the chicken cordon bleu pizza. The curds looked like they would be really good, but I couldn't get over how greasy they were on their bottom sides. Each piece was sitting in a pool of grease on the tray and it made the taste a little unpleasant. What a shame. The chicken cordon bleu pizza was exactly how I expected it to be if not better. The crust was chewy, which I enjoyed, and all of the flavors had a chance to shine instead of one dominating the rest. I particularly liked the breadcrumbs on top as they gave the pizza another texture to work with. The chicken could have used a little seasoning, but that's minor. I'd be up for trying other pizzas of theirs as well considering how good this one was.

They were huuuuge blobs of cheese and it was not appetizing at all to even eat. We literally left over half of them and picked at the smaller cheese curds. 0/10 Tacos- absolutely disgusting. Definitely nothing blackened about it.. shrimp had zero color and flavor. The tacos were soggy with a mushy mango salsa and a blob of crema. Our order consisted of two 16" pizzas, one with just cheese and the other half pepperoni, half sausage. The pizzas tasted fine. Neither remarkable or unremarkable. They use a ton of cheese, which I appreciate, though as you can see in the pictures I posted, the sausage and pepperoni may have been a tad skimped on. The crust was cracker like and the outer edges of it got nice and crispy, which is a big plus for me. As you can also see in the pictures, the pizzas were sloppy. The half pepperoni, half sausage ended up having sausage on only a 1/4 of it and the pepperoni was only on the outsides. In addition, the cheese on both pizzas stuck to the crappy paper they used below the crust, leaving paper stuck to the cheese on every piece we took out of the boxes. The meat was easy to adjust by sliding it around, but the paper was annoying and not worth the hassle again.

Our waiter was super nice and very knowledgeable. However, when he was telling us about the pasta special, we both heard him talking about adding berries to it. But when it came it, we were confused what he was even talking about. The pizza was great BUT only when you eat it fresh. After it got to room temp/cold, all you could taste was the burnt crust.
