Echelon Coffee is a really solid coffee spot that clearly takes what they do seriously…read more The coffee is excellent, and if you go on the weekend, the biscuits and gravy are absolutely worth it. It feels like there's a lot of care behind everything they serve. It also has that feel of a well-run, possibly family-driven operation -- like everyone involved knows their role and executes it well. The vibe is good, the space is inviting, and it's just an enjoyable place to spend some time. Pricing is a bit on the higher side -- more of a "treat yourself" stop than an everyday routine -- but the quality backs it up. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you appreciate good coffee.

I had a blood orange nitro coffee and it was amazing! The building is beautiful and a great place to relax or chat with a friend for a few minutes. The group that is outside of the shop with the dogs is very strange and this is not the shops fault but I don't understand why the city of Springfield doesn't ask them to move. They're always staffed in a way that is the most inefficient and ineffective of any place I've ever been to. They often have a dismissive rude attitude and take their sweet time to make any coffees. Even when they have three or four people working, only one is making coffee, which makes no sense whatsoever. I believe this place could be the best in town if they could just dial in their customer service and efficiency.
