I've been here four times already in the past 4 months... because I love their Spicy Duck Pudding Fermented Tofu Pot. There are many similar mini hot pot places around this area, but this is m favorite one because I love spicy duck pudding. The ingredients are better quality than other locations I feel. You can also customize your drink on sweetness yourself and add boba or other add ons. It's a nice causal place if you like mini hot pot. Service is fast as well. Highly recommended. read more

My first time ordering Togo here! I'm very impressed! I ordered the stinky tofu for myself, and the beef hotpot for my husband. I asked for extra soup for both and the lady who took my order was so generous to give it to us for no extra charge! Oh and what made a lasting impression of this place is the hotpot comes with free milk tea with topping! Yum! Everything was so delicious including their dipping sauces too! Place is a bit on the small side, DIY is a fantastic experience for both the hotpot and the drink, price is also quite fair. If you're not feeling too creative, they also have premade options on the menu. Options as well as taste feel quite similar to Boiling Point. read more

Great hot pot and boba place to eat! First time I got to make my own boba. You can put anything in your cup and it's only and extra $2 for the regular size and $3 for large. It was really fun to make my own boba with what ever you want. I actually mixed the of my favorite coffee, milk tea and other flavors. Yum! Can't get that anywhere else. Fun and different. For the hot pot it's the same thing. You can literally pick what you want and they weigh it. Fun place to take the kids and mix up what ever you want. Simple and Sweet If you're looking for a place that's just like boiling point and you don't want the wait, just come here. It's big portions, friendly service, and amazing taste. You also get the option to build your own pot and boba. They also got that Taiwan specialty, Mala duck blood hotpot. It's so good and they aren't stingy with the blood either. You also get all you can eat rice to go with your pot. The soup base is delicious and not overly spicy. It's the perfect balance of taste to spice. The owners are friendly and welcoming. They explained everything in great detail since it was our first time. The prices are about the same as BP. Maybe slightly cheaper. The big specialty pots are about 17-18 and the regular ones are 12-14. Next time I want Taiwanese hotpot, I'm coming here no cap! read more

We've been here several times and always so good! Pots are served with an individual warmer so that it continues to boil for several minutes after reaching your table. We like the pre-set pots with Thai Fusion being my favorite. The kids love the miso pot. We've also had the curry and beef pots which are also delicious. All pots come filled with veges, an assortment of meats and yummy soup bases. There is a DIY option too if you prefer to choose your meats and veges to go with your choice of soup base. The DIY boba bar is also great! Honestly the boba is pretty decent for a place where boba tea is not its main focus. Better, actually, than a few local tea houses. You pile on whatever toppings you want, fill with your choice of tea and they seal the cup for you. In addition to boba there are various jellies and popping boba to choose from. My kids love filling the cup halfway with toppings! read more

I wanted to like this place more but I was a bit disappointed. We opted for the self serve hot pots. I wished we hadn't or Atleast checked the cold bar before opting in. The vegetables available ( napa and bok choy only) were rotten and we had to pick through the pieces which sucked because we wanted more vegetables. The meats they had were fine I was a bit annoyed that I didn't notice my pot was only half a pound and it's a pound minimum of $12.99 so I got charged for a full pound and didn't even get to add more to make it closer to a pound of food... Drinks were fine. It was fun being able to add as many toppings for only $2 additional to the hotpot. Maybe next time we will just opt for a premade hot pot. read more

I love this place. Always order the Taiwanese extra spicy no blood pork cake. The soup is tasty. Be careful if you don't be patient you'll burn your tongue (Me). I came here with friends on a Saturday evening, and there were still plenty of tables around. You have the option of choosing a self-serve hot pot or from the hot pot selection on the menu. I opted for the beef pot, and it was the perfect portion for me. I love the fact that rice refills are free! My friends took advantage of that since they love rice. The self-serve boba is a cool concept. You can get creative and add as many toppings as you want! After you finish creating your drink, the employee will seal it for you. The broth was flavorful and not overly salty. There were only a few slices of beef in the beef pot, but it was enough for me. You may want to add more meat for an additional cost. It was a rainy day today, so we decided to have hot pot for lunch. I had the beef hot pot served spicy, and my coworkers had slight variations of the same thing. The lady who took our orders was friendly and our hot pots came out about 10 minutes later. I must say it was filling, tasted great, and really hit the spot on a colder day. They are currently having a promotion where you get a 24oz drink with an order of a bowl. You get to add all the drink toppings that you desire and have a nice selection of teas and slush drinks. Soooo delicious!! You can either build your own hot pot or pick from the menu which has a set assortment of toppings! I got the build your own you are given a bowl and tongs where you are free to pick as much toppings as you'd like. There is a scale used to weigh your bowl which you can check as you go(a minimum of 1b is required). It's around $12.99 per IB which is an awesome deal! They had a deal going on with every bowl purchased you can get a small build your own boba tea for $2! They had sooo many toppings to pick from! They also have sample cups to try each tea/slushy!! Service and food was great! The hot pot here tastes so much better than Boiling Point and Tasty Pot. I got the pickled veggie with lamb, my sister had the beef and my husband had the house special. Everyone was satisfied. Each hot pot came with a huge customizable drink. You can choose as many toppings as you like from boba, aloe jelly, popping bubbles and much more plus many drinks you can mix and match from jasmine milk tea to mango green tea. We got the build your own hot pot. They have a small station where you can choose from then weigh your bowl for the final price. There aren't as many options as I would've liked and the soup bases we chose from were alright. They also don't have as many sauces as I would've liked. Wow I am so glad this place finally opened as me and wifee used to drive to Boiling even though it was 26 miles it was worth all the fuss. We used to go to Boiling Point and 3 yrs ago they changed their flavoring and everything went down the drain. This place is super authentic, their broth is delicious and love their stinky tofu as it's the shit :). Reason why we are not moving now is due to this place and we go there every other week for pick up and can't wait till we can dine again. I thought our hot pot days were over when Boiling changed their flavor, but this place stepped up and satisfied all our needs currently. Came here the first week this place opened and it was just ok. If I left a review at that time it would have been 3 stars possibly a 4 simply because it was a decent deal since the boba drink was included with the price. Now it is not which is fine since inflation sucks but the quality of the ingredients is just terrible. I love wood ear mushrooms but the frozen ones they have here are just rubber even when soaked in the boiling broth. Frozen ingredients are fine but the ones here are just incredibly poor quality. Even the greens. Broth is incredibly subpar as well. read more

My family went here for the first time based on my friend's recommendation since we were craving hot pot. We were not disappointed! We ordered 2 beef hot pots and 1 Taiwanese hot pot. All the dishes came with plenty of meat and food. They were very flavorful. We were also pleased that our meal came with a free 24 oz drink of our choice. There were plenty of drinks to choose from including milk teas and regular iced teas. I heard from friend that this mini hot pot place is definitely a must try restaurant in Ontario/Eastvale/Rancho area, I finally have a chance to try this place after eating at home forever. I think this is the best mini hotpot and shave ice I have ever had in my area. The soup broth, appropriate saltness, fresh meat/vegetable, good portion of the food, its just heavenly, great flavor combo. I ordered their shaved ice. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality. They use fresh and premium ingredients and natural brown sugar syrup that you can't find it in any other ice places. I really appreciate this place and what they are doing. I will return to try some more new items for sure. read more

The paper they give you to self order your appetizers, drinks, meats, and dessert (ice cream) is really convenient. They give a good amount of meat portions per person. And you have up to 3 rounds to order meat. The food from the bar is unlimited. They have everything from sauces, to more appetizers or small foods, a variety of vegetables, rice, noodles, seafood, and fruits. Service was great. Our server checked up on us from time to time for drink refills, to clean up our table, and to get our paper for more food orders. Such a chill ambiance here. It's a large restaurant, so even if it gets loud, you're not talking over each other during dinner. It's very spacious, so when you're up to get your food you're not bumping into people. This was my boyfriend's first time here and he really enjoyed himself. I'm glad I took him here. This is definitely a place worth checking out if you're craving hotpot.

Shabu Wara has been our go to shabu shabu spot since moving to this area and it's been great. Service was never their strength, but we glanced over it since it's the only descent shabu shabu restaurant on the area. Over the past few months, service has gotten exponentially worse with each visit. Our final straw was being seated and left unacknowledged for 10 minutes. No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... This would've been the point of walking out, but my kids were saying they were hungry and going to another restaurant at that point would've been too late for their bedtime. I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. I write this not to bash a business, but in hopes management sees this and starts correcting how their staff operates to not destroy an otherwise good restaurant.

The meal comes with veggies, which includes napa, kabacho, mushrooms, carrots and bokchoy. So much wagyu brisket for 4 oz. I thought it was more, but I saw them weighing it out and slicing it freshly so I know it's on point. The marbling on the beef was incredibly sexy. Simple, healthy and delicious! I had some constructive feedback but I was able to convey it with their manager and they were open to improve so I'll let them off the hook during a soft opening phase.
