I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am a massive hot pot lover and this has become a new favorite for me. This has been my second time at this location and I foresee many more in my future. The pricing is based on broth type and by colored plates and it's very reasonably priced. I think the portions are very big and you can also carry out what you didn't finish. The service is very prompt and they are very kind. They are attentive to your needs and ensure that you have everything that you need during your visit. The decorations and style on the inside is very minimal, but it's the food that matters most at this location. They also do PUNCH CARDS. I love that. I now have 4 punches. Once you get 6, your 7th is free and they punch per person. Ugh great incentive

Woohoo . Sushi at Hot Pot Heaven in Kapolei is here! Chef Thom from the 4 Seasons is here making awesome sushi . We tried the Dragon Roll (shrimp tempura roll wrapped with Unagi and Avocado drizzled with Unagi Sauce) and the Spider Roll ( soft shell crab deep fried to perfection accompanied by avocado and topped with Tobiko and drizzled with Unagi sauce). Of course we had to have our favorite Hot Pot with Mushroom broth. Sushi bar has counter seating but they do table side service as well.

Hot Pot Heaven is located in Kapolei Shopping Center next to Pho & Company. The shopping center has lots of parking but does get busy during lunch/dinner rush and weekends. The interior is always very clean and there are lots of tables inside, able to accommodate to large parties. There is no waitlist, you just go in and tell them how many is in your party. I don't think we've ever had to wait long to be seated and when we get there everything is ready. This hot pot is a la carte ordering, not AYCE. This is more of a sharing style. The broths range from $6.99-10.99 and you can either do a split bowl with two broths or just one big pot - their most popular is the Thai but we usually get chicken and beef and add our dipping sauce to it. The sides (veg, starch, sides, etc.) all range from $3.89-$6.89 and they have two huge fridges full to choose from. Meats and seafood (pork belly, chicken, beef tongue, scallop, etc.) you can order from your server Their dipping sauces are complimentary and you can create your own or follow the recipes on the sign they have up! Everything is reasonably priced and their quality is great. They also have some cooked appetizers to choose from such as: pork and shrimp wontons, seafood gyoza, and spring rolls. Some of the meats and sides we love getting are the pork belly, chicken thigh, ground pork and shrimp meatballs, mochi dumplings (the wrapper is so chewy and addictive!), rice cakes and enoki mushrooms. There are endless options and something for everyone. The service has always been 10/10 and the owner, Bang is very personable and does his best to round on and talk to the customers. The server is great and is awesome about checking in on us, refilling and answering any questions we may have. They also do takeout, catering and you can even rent the place out. After your meal, they give complimentary Jin dui (deep fried sesame balls with red bean filling). Tip: if you go between 4-6PM it's happy hour and you get 15% off your bill. We definitely will be back again and again; thank you Hot Pot Heaven and staff for always great service and yummy food!

Very attentive service as soon as you step in the doorway. Great place if you're watching your carbs since you select what you will eat. Lots of protein in the refrigerated cases as well as a variety of leafy greens. Hubs chose vegetable broth and I chose medium Thai. Next time I will select mild. You can add sauces and ingredients to add to your meal. Totally stuffed and glad we ate healthy. Many tables were occupied after 1 pm. Happy 4 th of July

We went for a last minute Mother's Day dinner with no reservation and we were luckily enough to be seated right away with no wait. We ordered the Thai and Mushroom broth which was recommended by our server and both were so flavorful! But if I had to choose one, I would definitely go for the Thai broth. There were five people in our party, and our bill came out to about $150 (we did 18% gratuity). Which is pretty good considering most AYCE hot pots restaurants are about $35-45 per person. We ordered 3 plates of brisket, 2 plates of pork belly, and one plate of whole shrimp. I'd recommend the brisket as it was super tender! As for all our other sides, we just walked up to the fridges and grabbed all our veggies and whatnot. The sauce station is in the back as well and has a good amount of options! The restaurant is not too big so I do recommend making reservation or calling ahead to see if there is a wait time. I Highly recommend this spot if you're not looking for an AYCE spot!

First time at this hot pot restaurant, the place was quiet, being a Tuesday at 5. Server explained the process, pick your broth, meat, and vegetables. Price based on number of items and type. We chose 2 different broths to create our soup with. The Thai and beef broth, as you can see from photo there is a divider in bowl. It was interesting to create our own soup and place our items in it. We picked ribeye, noodles, bok choy and mushrooms. Both broth choices were were good with the beef being more like what we were use to. I took home what was left of Thai broth to create my own soup. The server was friendly and fast. We enjoyed our experience. The ambience was was tidy and clean.

I'm a believer in always supporting my go to stops but I'm also a believer in liking more than one place for my favorite food. Glad I did! The restaurant itself is very clean, spacious and has a lot of parking. Staff were very patient, always filling up water and cleaning tables. They were very pleasant and had a great smile on their faces. No matter what day I'm having, a great smile is always nice. I took a chance on their roast pork and it totally paid off. Initially, it didn't look like much but it was loaded up well. It had all the makings of a solid bahn mi. Lightly toasted soft baguette, savory meat and pate, tangy pickled vegetables and fresh herbs. Officially adding this place as a go to. Ps. I love capping my meal off with a delicious sweet potato tapioca dessert. Their version is delicious.

I ordered the Bun Bo Hue today. So what is Bun Bo Hue? It's a complex and robust noodle soup…read morethat has a varying degree of spiciness, mildly sour and herbaceous. There really is no sweetness to it. Overall I give it a 4/5. I'm comparing it to places I've eaten in Southern California in Little Saigon and Vietnam. Here is my breakdown: Good: 1. Decent amount of meat. Some places skimp out on the meat portion and all they give you is a bunch of noodles. 2. The beef shank was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. Good job! 2. Fresh and plenty of herbs. I really like that they also provided shredded banana blossom and morning glory. You don't always find this at most Vietnamese restaurants. 3. I am happy that they DID NOT provide blood cakes. I think for most Americans, blood cakes is not something that is appetizing. Even for me, I tend to take it out if it's provided. Bad: 1. Nothing bad stands out. I think I would suggest providing the noodle soup in a bigger bowl. Neutral: 1. Typically in Bun Bo Hue, thicker round noodles are used. In this case, they used thin vermicelli noodles you find in summer rolls. I kinda like that to be honest with you all..... What I would of wanted more from the broth: 1. The broth overall was good. I think if there was more of a lemon-grass flavor to the broth, it would have added more to the taste. 2. I would have like more of the shrimp paste flavor. I know not everyone likes the fermented and "stinky" smell of fermented shrimp paste, but there are ways to add it to the broth and hide the smell while enhancing the flavor. 3. I personally like pork knuckles or hock, and I would have like bigger and more of it, but it's not a deal breaker. Vietnamese Ice coffee (without the condense milk): 1. I would suggest adding more sugar next time. I could taste the bitterness of the Robusta beans. Not a deal breaker. DOG FRIENDLY - I brought my dog (service dog) with me and had absolutely no issue. I think even if my dog didn't have the service dog vest on, I don't think the staff would have minded. So THANK YOU for being pet friendly. Have I had amazing Bun Bo Hue? Yes....in Vietnam. But you're also in Hawaii and I think the people at this restaurant did a great job. I would order it again.

Curry sauce - I ordered mild - was very good. Food came relatively quickly but not immediately. Croquettes were just tasty mashed potatoes and the crispy breading was great. Didn't eat much rice since there that so much starch/carbs sincei was saving room for popcorn later but the rice was also very good. One friend had curry udon and a piece of katsu from her husband's meal. She said that's what she usually gets (she is a noodle fan).
