I'm so glad to finally have a hot pot in Longmont. Even better that it's one of our favorites style/cooking which is Yummy Hot Pot which we always drove down to in Denver; here now in Longmont as Hot Pot City. You have individual hot pots so you're not sharing with others and choose your own broth. Choose your ingredients from meats such as ribeye, pork belly, fatty beef, to veggies like bok choy, lettuce, spinach and cook it in your pot. There's tons of all you can eat items. I highly recommend the Chef Special Sauce. The price is right, it's the same or similar to other hot pot places. The service is great, and the food is awesome all you can eat. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. It is grand opening today, so they did not have some of the items. Otherwise the offerings are standard. The fatty beef and pork belly are definitely on the fattier side, so if you want less fat red meat, stick with the lamb and rib eye. Happy to have a hot pot in Longmont!

The food was great and there was SOOOO MUCH FOOD! We had a lot of fun. It was nice to be able to customize your food and cook in your own hot pot. This was my first hot pot experience and I'll definitely go back!

Vegetarian options

We had four very different eaters (vegetarian, pescatarian, meat lover and fussy) and everyone loved the food. The sauce was delicious. We enjoyed chatting and eating for 90 minutes which is way longer than we usually last at dinner. The meat was delicious and so were the vegetables and noodles. And the best part is that after dinner we did not have that heavy feeling you often get with a typical meal out.

Perfect experience! Delicious broth and tasty meats and veggies. It's an experience not just feeding your face. Servers are so polite. Try it! It's great

Hot Pot Sauce with Garlic

It is nice to have a local spot in Longmont that competes with the best Hot Pot spots in Vegas. The food is always super fresh and high quality. Make sure to try the Hot Pot City sauce, it is one of my favorites!

Either the broths lacked flavor, the meats weren't fresh enough, or the overall experience just didn't live up to the hype. At one point I genuinely thought maybe hotpot in Colorado just wasn't for me. But my friends, who absolutely LOVE this place and come here all the time, basically forced me to give it a try, and wow, I'm so glad they did. From the first bite, I could immediately tell this place was different. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting in a way that makes you want to keep eating even after you're already full. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and actually well-prepared. The meats, veggies, noodles, and sides all complemented each other perfectly, and the whole experience just felt cozy and satisfying. Another thing that really stood out to me was the service. Every server I've interacted with here has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They genuinely make the experience even better because the atmosphere feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. You can tell they care about making customers feel comfortable and taken care of. Now it's literally all I think about whenever the weather starts getting cool outside. Like the second there's even a slight chill in the air, this place immediately comes to mind. It's become one of those comfort meals that you randomly crave late at night because nothing else compares. The kind of food that warms you up completely and makes you leave feeling happy and full. Honestly, this place changed my opinion on hotpot in Colorado completely. If you've been disappointed by other hotpot spots around here like I was, PLEASE give this one a chance because it is on a completely different level.

I went with the spicy broth, hoping for that deep, numbing kick... but it came out surprisingly bland. Not much flavor building even after simmering for a while. I've had better spicy bases elsewhere that actually make your lips tingle and keep you coming back for more. Meat selection was mixed: - Lamb was the biggest disappointment--way too dry and tough. I've had melt-in-your-mouth lamb slices at other spots, so I know it shouldn't be like chewing leather. - Brisket was solid--lean, not overly fatty, cooked up tender. - Pork belly was a highlight--cut thin like bacon, so it crisped up fast and tasted rich without turning greasy. - Tripe and beef stomach were both pretty good--chewy in the right way, soaked up the broth nicely once it finally started carrying some flavor. Overall, it hit the spot for a casual hot pot meal, especially when you're not starving. But for the price, I'd expect more consistent quality on the meats and a broth that actually delivers the punch it promises. Service was friendly and attentive, though. Might return to try a different broth or on a busier night when things are fresher, but it's not a must-revisit spot yet. Would I go back? Maybe. But I'd be pickier next time.

We weren't informed when we were seated that the restaurant would be closing in about a half hour. Their hours are not posted on the door; we checked after being rudely shooed out by the owner. He dropped the check while my elderly mother was still eating; fine and good. Some places are fast paced. Then he came by and tapped on the check in a very passive-aggressive manner. Then he began obviously bustling around and signaling "get out" vibes before telling us, while my mom was still chewing "we close at two!" They didn't let us know how little time we had to eat when we were seated, OR when we ordered. They didn't give a ten minute warning. They didn't even offer a BOX for the remaining bites on my mom's plate. There were so many ways they could have flagged that they understood the inconvenience and tried to make us feel accomodated. I have never felt less welcome in a restaurant. The food was also thoroughly mediocre. I SO want there to be a decent Korean restaurant in Boulder, but I will never go back.
