Not a good place to go if you're like me and like quality work. And plan to wait a little bit even if you schedule an appointment. My pedicure done by " TOM" wasn't what I expected at all. mind you, he has done a good job before but yesterday he must have been tired because my feet was still looking and feeling the same as they did when I first walked in!! "DELUXE PEDICURE" THAT COMES WITH CALLUS REMOVAL CREAM as part of the package is $40 or $45 and with gel polish added which i always get is an additional $15. Plus I have an acrylic tip on my big toes, to get a fill in for those cost $5 each extra. the pricing wasn't that bad compared to other places. But at the same time , if i'm spending my money , I expect good quality work. But i still had dead skin on the bottom of my heels because the lack of effort put into scrubbing my feet. my toenails , which I like to have shaped square are mixed shapes some oval and some lop sided but nothing square!! I ask him to hand me describe so I can scrub the bottom of my feet myself still see dead skin all around my heels. As well as in my inner foot. he offered to fix it himself , but it still did not come out right. so the lady working on another customer sitting next to him kept looking at me with an attitude rolling her eyes speaking in their language. I wasn't sure what her problem was??: But I had a sense that she must be related to him. She ended up interfering in my pedicure altogether because i asked him to fix the polish on my toes that was lumpy. If you would have saw how much polish was around my cuticles , and how uneven the polish was on my toes , you would have done the same. I was nothing but respectful when asking him to correct things that was wrong on my feet , but apparently she's had enough of it and decided to ask him to move so she can step in and complete the job. I didn't want her working on my feet with that attitude and I made that very clear to her. She carried on to argue with me, waving her hand around in my direction, instead of attending to her customer in their pedicure chair. At this point I assumed that she must be his wife, because she was defending him far too much , and none of the other women working there was. There was no reason for her to step in.he had it under control, and her attitude was nasty , if he didn't have under control , I still wouldn't have wanted her to help!! There was another guy walking around observing. I'm assuming he's the owner., but not one time , did he say anything to me he just watched. She eventually went to the back and pulling the curtain roughly , raising her voice talking to the guy that i'm assuming is the manager apparently about me. but still he never said anything to me. I honestly felt at this time he should've said something he should've checked and made sure everything was okay with the customer, me!! At the end of my second Polish, change, the Polish still was not to my liking, but at this point I no longer wanted to be there , so I asked , how much why was the total? so I can pay and leave!! as "TOM" assisted me with the payment, as we walked toward his station i asked what is that lady's name? and is she his wife?? he hesitated on giving me a name, but eventually he said "KIM" i honestly felt like that's not her name because of the way he has hesitated, but if it is now everyone reading this knows who I am talking about, and to be careful of her. "TOMS" attitude was never bad. i appreciate the respect he gave me. It was just the work being done on my feet wasn't good. I honestly feel like he was either tired or maybe perhaps need a refresher class on pedicures. Me being a cosmetologist myself, I understand over the years of work, the wear and tear it puts on the body. But also make sure to stay current with state board requirements as well as the customers. I'm a trendy person and I am a particular person when it comes to my nails and feet. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only customer like that so nail shops should be prepared for people who pay more attention to chip toenail polish, dead skin left on feet and anything else that's not right with the service. Constructive criticism is a part of life, it helps you perfect your craft. When given respectfully it should be taken, and not shood away with an attitude and hand movement as if that customer's opinion doesn't matter. It's now the very next day and I have to come back to this location to get a nail fixed, and the nail technician told me oh I won't charge you to fix this nail. This is the 2nd time I came here for mani and pedi. I thought I would give it a try since it's closer to home. While the lady is cleaning my toe nails I picked the color that I wanted. The lady was offering me to try their new shade and that she will not charge me extra $5. I agreed to give it a try. When I checked how it looked like after applying the first coat, I didn't like the color on me so I asked her if she could replace it with the color I initially picked. She agreed to change it and proceeded to remove color that I didn't like. Not that I didn't like the color but I also didn't like the nail polish on my toes skin. She was about to apply my chosen color when I noticed my nails was not cleaned properly, so I asked if she could clean the side of my nails before applying a coat of color. She kept on pouring alcohol on my toes but it doesn't get cleaned. I requested that she would brush it because I didn't noticed her cleaning my toenails with brush in which she said she did. Not so. After brushing my nails, it became cleaner a bit. She then started to apply a coat of polish on my toe nails. Every time she applied color on, it also gets applied on my skin in which she did not clean right away which make it look unappealing since this is a gel nail polish. I requested that she be cleaning it as she goes and that I don't like nail polish on my skin. But she kept insisting it looks ok. Whenever she applied another coating of nail polish, it gets on my skin and several more time I requested if she could clean it up. I initially wanted both a manicure and pedicure but after seeing and experiencing the quality of work, I decided not to pursue having my manicure done here. I am not coming back here again. Tried getting a Faulk set here with Huan. My mom swears her nails last over a month when she gets them done. She also said he doesn't nickel and dime her for fixing nails or cutting them shorter. This was not the case with my experience. It was super busy when I went in so he already seemed stressed. I had an appt so he took me right away and made the girl who he had started wait for someone else to finish. He didn't ask what shape I wanted and noticed he was getting prepared to apply the acrylic. So of course I told him and it seemed like it bothered him that I wanted a short coffin. It's always my go to even if the angle on the coffin isn't as sharp as a ballerina. I told him tapered square if he couldn't do it. I basically have chubby fingers and the taper the coffin provides slims my fingers. Does it matter if the client asks for short nails? Make it work. When he cut the angle he went super fast and careless. I figured he's gna correct it when he files them later. Not the case! I had to keep telling him after he filed that my nails were crooked until I asked him for the file to do it myself. He charged me $3 more for the coffin, you may as well do it right or I have to complain until they're perfect. Even after I tried to fix them there were a few still not up to par. I also asked him for gel and he told me it's gna be $10 more because I have coffin. TF? When I looked at the colors it said $5 for gel on their little display and the other women getting gel I overheard got charged $5 for gel and were complaining. He was irritated I got coffin and had to charge me more wherever he could. I didn't like their colors anyways so I got regular polish. As soon as I got home I had to fix the crooked ass nails that he kept saying were straight. I live and learn. My mom must be easier to please. Worst of all since he was trying to rush he chewed my nail cuticle up and made me bleed. Normal full set $22, for mine it was $25. I must add if you're looking for your eyebrows Trina is really good. She gets super busy though and doesn't have a comfortable set up. So if you're cool with a office chair that reclines in front of everyone she charges around $8? Walked in they said about ten minute wait which I was ok with and figured it'd be longer but they actually started on my pedicure right away, which was really good considering it is a Saturday. I was then transferred to Huan for my full set which I really like they're not expensive and they try and do their best and they don't persuade and push you to get the most expensive things they have which I hate that other places do because when you like pretty simple things you don't feel some type of way for rejecting all other things they want you to add to look more pretty I like simple and pretty if that makes sense. I take my daughter here to get her nails done because it's close to our house and they are open til 7pm. And she's never gotten any kind of fungus or other nasty shit from here so that's a plus! Although we're not brave enough to try a pedicure. LOL. Anyways, like most little Asian hole in the wall nail shops, most of them don't speak much English. Usually, my daughter has to point to what she wants, which works. They do have a couple of people in there that do speak decent English so if you must, flag them down for some help. Hang was great to me. But a lady that did my sister's nails was terrible. My sister was looking at the nail swatches and she snatched it from her and when my sister tried to reach for it she pulled it back farther. She wouldn't let my sister pick her own color and when my sister told her the color she wanted, the lady told my sister , " that's so ugly why don't you trust me I've been doing this for years" (my sister is 13 so she didn't stick up for herself) . So she also made my sister bleed, hurt her multiple times, she only put one lousy coat of regular polish and told her to dry them and never came back to tell her she was finished so we had to ask someone else if her nails were ready. I will never be coming back here. Just moved to the Weston ranch area and my regular nail salon is about 20 mins away so I thought I would give this place a try since it's so close to me now. I got a simple gel manicure. The polish is already coming off and it has been only four days (should typically last two weeks). Also my middle finger on my left hand is now infected. Walked in for eyebrows, got asked to sit in the back since it was me , my sister in law & our two toddlers by the lady doing eyebrows pretty sure her names trina . Then proceeded to get asked to keep our children down , & our mess get picked up as we had snacks & a couple peanuts fell on the floor as if it's not there job to daily sweep there floor . Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had and the nail salon. First off the place is far from clean. Yet I really needed a quick pedicure so I thought I would still give it a go. I arrived at 445pm the man told me to come back at 530 and he made me a apt. I arrive at 530 and he didn't they didn't seat me until 6:15 and then left me in some cold and dirty looking water until 645 so I got up and walked out.
