Can't wait to go back! I got a warm and ham and cheese pastry. The ham and cheese pastry I had was flakey, warm and delicious! The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The space had plenty of seating, I sat and read while enjoying my food. I also got multiple pastries to go.

There is parking!!!! (see below) This is a really cute breakfast place. What I got when I came in was a warmed-up ham & cheese turnover along with a slice of pie. But looking around at the busy dining room I saw a lot of very awesome looking breakfast dishes that seemed to be on another level from my modest order. This is partly because when I arrived, a large line formed behind me at the single cashier and I didn't want to waste time perusing that breakfast menu so I pointed at something in the case. I will return and get something cooler; I recommend familiarizing yourself with their menu by the time you get to the register. The slice of pie I got was very tasty; it was the Toasted Vanilla pie. I want to try some of their other sweet options. I also got a straight drip coffee which was unremarkable. The people working here are super nice; it was really busy when I was there on a Sunday afternoon but the crew was unfazed. And again, the dining room is cute and not too small. There are tables outside as well. And yes there is a parking lot! Turn in from Snelling on the South end of the building, next to Coastal Seafoods.

Second time here, and yes, it's still as amazing as the first time! We got the biscuit breakfast sandwich and WOW. We can't wait to try other things from their menu!

Delicious breakfast biscuits here! Huge fan of the breakfast sandwich and the biscuit cinnamon roll French toast. Super yummy and a very cute restaurant. They have many take out options too, like whole pies and smaller pastries as well. Yum!

This was not a menu item, but something they posted on their Instagram and I showed up the next day to order it. It was very Friday energy of me! And it was everything that I expected and wanted it to be. The pound cake was moist (yea I said moist). The addition of the bacon for a bit of saltiness was perfect. The cream cheese was great, a little too sweet for me, but that's a personal preference. This was really good :D

My favorite chicken pot pie for takeout or dine-in! We went for brunch and had a delicious time. The smashed potatoes are crispy and great for sharing. The biscuits are perfect, and go so well with all of their breakfast menu items. My order was the perfect amount of food- savory and filling and I didn't need a bite more. There is a big free parking lot in back (that I didn't realize was there). This is also the place we often get pie for holidays because it's so good, and they sell it by the slice, as well as mini-pies and hand pies. You bus your own tables, and no alcoholic drinks, so just be prepared for that.

What a cute spot! A biscuit was just what we wanted and it was delicious! We ordered the traditional with honey butter & apple on the side and added scrambled egg & bacon. The coffee is from Folly, a solid brand. My daughter had an iced chai latte that was one of the best we have tried. It had a kick of clove that we enjoyed. As we were getting ready to pay a server passed by with the party potatoes... do not pass these up . On our way out we grabbed a juice that was outstanding. Now we need to find out where they can be purchased. It was watermelon & mint with I think spinach ? Pre bottled deliciousness!! I will be back for sweets next time

I've really enjoyed my experience at Hot Hands! Great staff and service and the vibe makes me feel so happy. I got the matcha latte with a mint syrup shot and it was delicious! What a combo! The syrup wasn't overly sweet and it tasted almost like the real mint plant. My partner got the peppermint mocha and he loves it - pretty sweet. The cranberry apple pie - my partner said 'is like a party in his tongue' because it's sweet, tart, a little salty, and almost a little peppery from cinnamon in the crust and crumble. I totally agree with the assessment. For mains, we got the honey fried chicken and it was delicious! The biscuit was perfect! We also got the hash, which was good overall, but not mind blowing. I will definitely be coming back.

I love getting a weekend breakfast at Hot Hands. Their biscuits and gravy is vegetarian (which is hard to find) and reminds me of the biscuits and gravy I used to eat while living in Nashville. The party potatoes are always so crispy and well seasoned. Food usually comes out quickly sfter ordering at the clinic, and I love all the fun plants growing throughout the restaurant.

Hot Hands is a casual place for brunch in St. Paul. My family and I are from out of town and just found out about in on Yelp. We stopped by to grab breakfast on a Saturday. The place was pretty busy but had plenty of seating. You order at the front counter and they bring your food to your table. I ordered the Ham Biscuit and Party Potatoes. The biscuit was fluffy and buttery. The biscuit sandwich was very flavorful, although kinda hard to eat (only because it's huge!). The potatoes were super yummy and were crispy on the edges but fluffy inside. You can definitely share this with 2-3 people. I thought the prices were reasonable. I was so full after. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in St. Paul again...and will not skip on the pies next time!

Back again at hot hands! I got two frozen pies to go - they are a winter staple in my house. A very easy dinner and they include reheat instructions! I love that you can see into the bakery as they have large windows to see. I also grabbed a chai-der drink! Such a perfect fall delight. Staff is incredible friendly in this small down bakery!

A bright good vibe place that we can't call a coffee bar, but more like a restaurant coffee bar style. The coffees are cold brew and drip blend which is somewhere between a medium and dark roast, leaning dark. Unfortunately the coffee this day was served below the proper temperature, hence not a five star rating. Who's a snob? Me? Well hell ya, been drinking the brew since I was 10. The shop is friendly, helpful and has a creative selection of baked items and small meals. Biscuits pies in small and large servings. A quick coffee snack for me was the Cheddar Biscuit with a crunchy crust and soft insides. Many types of dipping items and I would return to try again. Looks like a great place to just hang as there is plenty of seating.

To me, it's gonna taste bad no matter how great you prepare it but she said she loved it and would definitely get it again. I had the Italian Pasta if I remember correctly. I was really grateful for that experience. Honestly, the entire visit--from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out--was top-notch. For food and drinks, I ordered a Moscow Mule, the Meatloaf Wellington, and the lobster with cauliflower cheese. It was my first time trying a Wellington, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. The lobster, however, was a definite hit--I ate every bit of it! Service was good, friendly. No complaints there. The menu was quite varied - standard apps, burgers, steaks and even liver and onions. I have to wonder if maybe they should just stick to the basics though. I had the sirloin (vs. the pork chops at the recommendation of the server). It was a big hunk of sirloin. Could have been a bit more seasoned but it was generally ok. The baked potato was pretty hard/waxy (vs fluffy). The vegetable side was some kind of peas/succotash which looked awful, but was quite tasty. The problem is I literally was served only enough for 2 bites of it. The kitchen really should have been embarrassed sending it out. A couple table mates had the prime rib special. I'm not sure how 'done' they ordered it, but both came out looking gray and even fattier than most prime rib. Looked pretty awful. My husband had the New York Strip and said it was fine but that the "house au gratin" potatoes were nothing special. If I came back I'd probably stick to a burger (hand cut fries!) and have steak elsewhere.
