The cheesesteak was fantastic--packed with steak and cheese and served on a perfect seeded roll. And even though the Joey's Hot Honey wasn't what we ordered, it was absolutely delicious as well. We ended up taking it home with us, and after an hour-long drive, it was still delicious. We both agreed it probably would have been even better fresh off the grill. Mistakes happen, and honestly, I can't find it in my heart to give Cafe Carmela anything less than five stars. The food lived up to the hype, and we're glad we finally made the trip. The sharp provolone cheese, roasted red peppers and seeded roll made for a really nice flavor profile. Everything tasted fresh. They cut the sandwich in half properly so you aren't struggling to break it apart. Service was pleasant and fast, and prices are reasonable.
