I had noticed that my January payment (a check) had not posted to my account by the end of the month, so I contacted the manager. Bonnie swiftly responded that payment had not been received. She helped to resolve the payment issue (payment was made via alternative means) in a highly professional manner. Bonnie maintained a high level of confidentiality and assured that when the payments that were delayed via mail were received, that they would be promptly destroyed. Thanks for all of your help Bonnie! We'll make sure to utilize North East Mini Storage for future needs and to spread the word to friends and family!

If I could give negative stars I would. When we were packing and moving back in July we had to get…read morea storage unit. We had to get the biggest size they had and we needed to get it climate controlled because we had pictures, kids memory boxes, furniture, clothes, leather couches, etc that needed stored and didn't want it ruined. We only planned on having the storage unit for a month or so because it was costing us $140/month. Well we go to get our stuff out of our unit.... There is 3+ inches of sitting water soaking all of our stuff in the unit. All of our stuff not in totes is ruined from water damage or mold. So my husband tells me we didn't get the extra insurance because we only had the unit for like a month. Im like okay, we will eat the loss of all of our stuff (which sucks), but they will at least have to pay us back for the unit. I paid for the unit to store our stuff, which it failed to do, instead it destroyed everything. So I go there this morning to talk to the manager or owner whoever he is to explain the situation and see what we can do. First of all he was a total d#$& right off the bat. Was pretty much like oh that sucks and didn't seem suprised in anyway that the unit was flooded (I'm sure it's not the first time he is hearing the units were flooded). He's not apologetic at all and proceeds to remind me we didn't get insurance so there's nothing that can be done. I was nice at first until he started being a prick. So I tell him I understand we didn't get the extra insurance. I'm not asking you to replace all of our stuff. I just want refunded for the storage unit that flooded and ruined all of our things. He just laughs and says no. He was rude and condescending so I proceeded to tell him about himself and that I wasn't paying for a unit that destroyed all of our shit. So we went back and forth we had some words, I left, he continues with the words, so I go back in and rip him a new one because he deserved it and more. ripping people off. Don't worry I left before I ended up getting arrested! So unless you want all of your things ruined do not use Elkton Storage...this is the place right behind Northside Pharmacy/Romas in Elkton. he was a jerk and obviously knew the units flooded by his reaction then did nothing to try and mend the situation

1-Star Review for Witty WITTY Movers…read more DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Witty Movers are complete scammers and the most unprofessional moving company I have ever dealt with. I moved from Maryland to Houston, and the entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish. Half of my belongings were missing, broken, or completely destroyed, and they delivered furniture that didn't even belong to me. They never provided an accurate itemized list of what was picked up and delivered, making it impossible to track what was lost. Instead of taking responsibility, they started harassing me, threatening me, and even impersonating police officers over the phone. It took countless emails and relentless calls just to get them to acknowledge the mess they made, and instead of helping, they resorted to childish and disgusting harassment tactics. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration--DO NOT use this company. Check the Better Business Bureau and other review sites, and you'll see I'm not the only one with this kind of experience. Witty WITTY Movers should be shut down.

Witty Movers is a moving company that gets hired by contractors. Your experience can be a hit or miss depending on your location and what moving companies are in your area. I worked with Ben at USMS. He gave me a quote after discussing what inventory I had in my household. There was pressure to put down a deposit via check or card (5% fee). The rest of the charge is to be split 50/50. The first payment would be the day of pickup. The second payment would be on delivery. Cash or money order only on these payments. Good service from Ben, who mentioned this was a binding quote meaning it is not to exceed price even if a customer goes over their truck and storage space (this was not the case). Ben guaranteed delivery within 5-7 days (also not the case). USMS contracted Witty Movers to pack and pick up my belongings. Witty Movers came to my house on the agreed date. It didn't seem like Witty Movers aligned with USMS on the binding pricing. On top of my quote, I was charged an extra 20% for little things like having a long walkway from the truck to the high rise, additional special packing for items like my TV, etc. This was an inconvenience because the upcharge also had to be in cash. The workers didn't start until 1.5 hours later because we debated about the upcharge. I deducted a star because I didn't appreciate the unexpected upcharge (cash only), delay, last-minute notice that my belongings were going to storage vs. hitting the road to the new location, and the workers pushed my comfort level to ask for more tips after they were late, and up-charged my quote. However, they did a great job with the packing process overall. Con: Witty Movers arrived at my location 2 weeks late from my delivery upon 5-to 7 days. Delays happen, it's understandable, but have a plan to stay at an Airbnb if you have no furniture. Pro: All my furniture was in one piece and in good condition. AURELIO and OSCAR did an excellent job at assembling my furniture back together with great speed. Everything was done in 1.5 hrs!
