WE had a safe dry and secure container we were able to work out of and mange to keep the business going. We are now being bought out and with one phone call the container is picked up and all is well with the world. I had noticed that my January payment (a check) had not posted to my account by the end of the month, so I contacted the manager. Bonnie swiftly responded that payment had not been received. She helped to resolve the payment issue (payment was made via alternative means) in a highly professional manner. Bonnie maintained a high level of confidentiality and assured that when the payments that were delayed via mail were received, that they would be promptly destroyed. Thanks for all of your help Bonnie! We'll make sure to utilize North East Mini Storage for future needs and to spread the word to friends and family!

If I could give negative stars I would. When we were packing and moving back in July we had to get…read morea storage unit. We had to get the biggest size they had and we needed to get it climate controlled because we had pictures, kids memory boxes, furniture, clothes, leather couches, etc that needed stored and didn't want it ruined. We only planned on having the storage unit for a month or so because it was costing us $140/month. Well we go to get our stuff out of our unit.... There is 3+ inches of sitting water soaking all of our stuff in the unit. All of our stuff not in totes is ruined from water damage or mold. So my husband tells me we didn't get the extra insurance because we only had the unit for like a month. Im like okay, we will eat the loss of all of our stuff (which sucks), but they will at least have to pay us back for the unit. I paid for the unit to store our stuff, which it failed to do, instead it destroyed everything. So I go there this morning to talk to the manager or owner whoever he is to explain the situation and see what we can do. First of all he was a total d#$& right off the bat. Was pretty much like oh that sucks and didn't seem suprised in anyway that the unit was flooded (I'm sure it's not the first time he is hearing the units were flooded). He's not apologetic at all and proceeds to remind me we didn't get insurance so there's nothing that can be done. I was nice at first until he started being a prick. So I tell him I understand we didn't get the extra insurance. I'm not asking you to replace all of our stuff. I just want refunded for the storage unit that flooded and ruined all of our things. He just laughs and says no. He was rude and condescending so I proceeded to tell him about himself and that I wasn't paying for a unit that destroyed all of our shit. So we went back and forth we had some words, I left, he continues with the words, so I go back in and rip him a new one because he deserved it and more. ripping people off. Don't worry I left before I ended up getting arrested! So unless you want all of your things ruined do not use Elkton Storage...this is the place right behind Northside Pharmacy/Romas in Elkton. he was a jerk and obviously knew the units flooded by his reaction then did nothing to try and mend the situation

1-Star Review for Witty WITTY Movers…read more DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Witty Movers are complete scammers and the most unprofessional moving company I have ever dealt with. I moved from Maryland to Houston, and the entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish. Half of my belongings were missing, broken, or completely destroyed, and they delivered furniture that didn't even belong to me. They never provided an accurate itemized list of what was picked up and delivered, making it impossible to track what was lost. Instead of taking responsibility, they started harassing me, threatening me, and even impersonating police officers over the phone. It took countless emails and relentless calls just to get them to acknowledge the mess they made, and instead of helping, they resorted to childish and disgusting harassment tactics. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration--DO NOT use this company. Check the Better Business Bureau and other review sites, and you'll see I'm not the only one with this kind of experience. Witty WITTY Movers should be shut down.

"I don't know, maybe the guy needed to poop or something."…read more Avoid at all costs. Do not use Witty Movers or United Choice Moving. UCM is a broker that contracts Witty. As soon as UCM lied to us about cost, pick up date, and space needed. UCM does not keep their promises on communication - every time I was told I would get an email or a call back, I didn't. After contracting with UCM, we were handed over to Witty. Witty's manager, Sam Saboy, was rude and unprofessional. When asked why the truck was an hour and a half late (after already moving the date from Friday to Sunday, which was not in the contract) he said "I don't know, maybe the guy needed to poop or something." At delivery, we were told to pay Witty - something that had never been communicated to me by Witty or UCM. The poor movers sat there until we finally got confirmation by UCM to pay them. The actual movers - I think a father-son team - were nice. They were just doing what their boss told them to. UCM billing did not call me back immediately, even though Sam Gaines the sales rep assured me they would. We were also upcharged on delivery - again, something neither UCM nor Witty communicated before. The unprofessionalism was astounding. Stay far away and be careful. Use a real moving company and not a broker.
