Best cheeseburger and fries in this area!!! Wonderful atmosphere and awesome live music! A real gem of a joint!!! After you try the cheeseburger, then try the halibut sandwich!!! Large portions.

Curve Cheeseburger

Decent bistro food, but honestly not the best for the price, and almost a 45 minute wait for the food. Menu isn't very extensive, only fried fare and sandwiches. Sodas, and water was exclusively in cans and bottles, and I'm not sure if they had anything on draft. Excellent ambiance though! Can't complain, but can't strongly recommend either.

You can definitely tell this is family owned. And I mean this in the best way possible. Great burger and great vibes.

While celebrating a special birthday we made reservations for a birthday dinner here. I will admit…read morethat I was slightly worried after reading so many negative comments. My interpretation of the gist of what everyone was complaining about was that they used to come here all the time (as did I years ago, but it's been a year since being here) and they didn't like the new, slimmed down menu... and they definitely hated the prices here now. Our service was ok, nothing special. I feel like the majority of the servers are very young and might not have the training, nor experience to understand what true service is, not just taking orders and bringing food. The menu was nice. We liked their "Everyday is Sunday" section of the menu, so we tried 2 orders (4 persons) of the pork chop tomahawk and 1 order (2 persons) of the Côte de Boeuf. We started with their Scotch Egg - WOW! Really flavorful with a great texture, inside and out. Definitely a very nice way to start. Cocktails and wine were a hit here for sure! Especially Jarad's G&T, which we got a couple of. Main dishes were great! Plenty of food too!! The spices on the crust of the porkchop tomahawk were so tasty and the temperature was spot-on! The steak in the Côte de Boeuf was incredible! Perfectly seasoned and at that absolute perfect temperature too! The carrots that came with this were very nicely done, but the potatoes stole the show! This dish came with OUTSTANDING Fondant potatoes... They had a great, smokey flavor to them, as if they were basted in pork fat. The meat was perfectly textured and flavored. Overall - While this is no longer the Hunter's Head that many came to know, love, and enjoy, I feel they're doing a decent job here. I'll definitely return, as I want to try their fish & chips!

Finaly visited the Union Jack. We had the Cod dinner, and one French onion soup. Worth a visit for…read moresure. The onion soup was fabulous! Deep rich color, clean broth, and not full of salt that is common in many restaurants. As one who makes French Onion soup from scratch and has sampled French onion soup in dozens of restaurants over many years, I would place this in the top 5. The cod was really special. Unusually very large pieces that were not drenched in a ton of batter. The result was a fresh, flaky texture and taste. The portions were such that we had leftover cod the next day. The fresh cut fries were a bonus that puts the Union Jack fries far above the typical institution, pre-made version found in most restaurants.

After reading the reviews I selected this pub after checking out the walking area in this quaint village I was offered a table in a quieter area or the bar and immediately found a seat at the bar. Selected a delicious stout to begin while glancing at the menu. I opted for the Shepards Pie since my last one happened to be when I was last in London. Service was awesome and my plate arrived quickly. This place was full but not overly noisy! I loved the pairing of the stout with the meal. Delicious pie and was not rushed to make room at the bar! Happy to have visited !!

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

Food was excellent! Except when service wasn't…read more. The server was excellent on the greeting! She was sweet, formidable and charismatic! She took the food order for the kids.... The food came excellent! Thank you to the kitchen!! We placed the order and the tuna steak came out excellent! However the burger was stupid raw!!!! I asked to not get another since our children had eaten their food already and they enjoyed it! Thank you once again to the kitchen!! The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was as quaint as you would expect!! The tuna was cooked PERFECT! Thank you to the kitchen staff!!! I asked for the check and paid it ....(despite the fact that the waiter disappeared for over 15 mins and I had to walk to the bar to ask for it!!) Left a tip and then proceeded to leave the restaurant and head to our car since both kids hadn't slept and it was past 8 pm (when I overheard the following...) Once again the server was kind and charismatic despite ignoring us in an empty restaurant where she had 3 tables when we arrived and two when we left. As we were walking out of the restaurant, the server, had the stones to show my signed check, with a 10% tip, as was warranted after ignoring us, serving me raw food and not coming back for along time.... (Sorry kitchen but the raw burger was on you for this one!) And she, had the gall to brag to another table of patrons, showing the receipt in my wife's face, that were taking away from her money, when she provided poor service!! I wouldn't dream of having her fired, hence the reason I'll never name her. " she might have had a bad day!", BUT I want her to learn a lesson about treating every customer with respect! My wife and kids didn't deserve a poor experience for our first time in your restaurant! Be kind. Be loving and understanding! Everyone can have hardships in life, as we all do, but if you're in this industry, be kind, be watchful and give a care about your job!! You never know the negative impact you can leave for fellow strangers, especially little children that enjoyed Harper's Ferry for the first time! Overall, the restaurant is excellent, food is excellent and the vibe is 8/10!

We almost left before someone not covering that section came and helped us. I got corned beef and cabbage. The cabbage had no flavor and the carrots that came with was mush.
