I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.

I had previously taken the van to the dealership, where the spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced, but the misfire was still not resolved. Alexander performed a thorough diagnostic and correctly determined that the fuel injectors were causing the problem. He replaced the injectors and used dealer-level Mercedes diagnostic equipment to properly code and program them to the vehicle. We also discovered significant carbon buildup on the intake valves, which is common on direct-injection engines. Alexander had the proper walnut-blasting equipment and performed an intake-valve carbon cleaning. I was very impressed with his knowledge of Mercedes vehicles, advanced computer diagnostics, fuel-injector programming, and direct-injection systems. His diagnosis was accurate and his work was professional. The shop also provides general auto repair, tires, wheel alignments, transmission repair, and other automotive services. I highly recommend Alexander Auto Service to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable mechanic, especially for difficult diagnostic problems that other repair shops or dealerships have been unable to solve. Customers deserve clear communication, transparency, and the opportunity to approve charges before work is performed. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering this shop to ask questions, confirm all diagnostic fees upfront, and make sure they authorize any charges before allowing work to proceed. I would not return based on this experience.

I took time out of my day to bring my car in, only to be told they were too busy and couldn't work on it until next week. If they already knew they were fully booked, why wasn't I told that when I made the appointment? A simple phone call or text would have saved me a wasted trip. My time is just as valuable as theirs. There were pin holes in the tank and it did take almost four weeks but he got it finally and is fixing that. I have to past the smog I paid for tags. Unfortunately I have to wait past the due date again going out of town the computer has to go Thru the cycle first. So I have to.get an extension at the cost of $50. Just money as my truck runs great but California it's the law. So no ticket cause it is paid. Still cheaper than buying a new truck. However, Sherif is personable and as honest as a mechanic can be. Although really unorganized. There are so many customers with so many car problems and so little time, that I have to ask him if I need anything extra looked over on my car. He and his employees won't give a full diagnostic test on cars, they'll just fix what the customer is complaining about. Because they're in such a hectic hurry. Some days the phone there rings off the hook. While people and employees are running back and forth thru the lobby waiting area and out the other door. However, Sherif is fair with his prices, although nothing is listed. I am sure I've spend umpteenth thousands of dollars there getting my various cars repaired through the years, since the early years of 2000's.
