We've done several trips to this shop for lights, transformers, and some miscellaneous gardening tools. Their staff were moderately helpful but we encountered various staff. Some were more helpful than others. They are fairly rigid with return policies and restocking fees. Their affiliated brand is called "landscape products" which includes transformers, is more flexible. We had to return a transformer three times for being a faulty product. We found their selection of outdoor lighting products to be pretty good and more stylish than your average hardware store. I believe they have two locations in town.

My wife and I were in the need for more stone for our property and I called…read more Sonoran Landscape Materials, just off of Grant near I-10 at Silverbell and spoke to Mathew, the co-owner. Mathew asked me what I was looking for and I told him we need more stone for our house in Oro Valley. He asked me if I knew what stone and size I wanted. I had no idea. He asked me to send him a photo of some of the stone, he had me place the stone on a sheet of white paper and place a tape measure next to the stone. I did that and in a few minutes he sent some photos back asking me if one of these was the correct stone and I checked and it was. A few days latter my wife and I drove to his location on Silver Bell and order five tons of stone. We scheduled the job and he had five ton delivered by Sergio, who showed up and dumped the stone in our driveway. The next day Matthew had Daniel scheduled to haul the stone from our driveway and placed around our house. Little did we know at the time that five ton wasn't enough. I called Mathew and said I need two more ton delivered. A few days later two ton was delivered by Sergio and Daniel was scheduled to distribute two tons of stone. The customer service all around was excellent, they kept me posted by text messages and called when they were leaving, the price was fair and Daniel did a great job. He worked for several hours and the job and cleanup was 100%. I would not hesitate to use them again. I recently called old Pueblo cactus when our beloved saguaro began to appear ill. I received a…read moreprompt response from the reception and sent out the field manager within days. Jalon was wealth of knowledge in regard to the saguaros health. Unfortunately I got the bad news that it wasn't looking good for my cactus. However, Old Pueblo Cactus offers removal service and they sell a large variety of cacti as a replacement. Jalon, the field service manager offered us different options at different price points for something to go in its place. They can place extremely large saguaros (with multiple arms) either by truck or crane if it is in a difficult to access area. They will arrange the crane service and take care of everything. We may have underestimated how much time then saguaro had, And it ended up falling over on its own, almost like it knew we were planning a removal! So, we actually didn't not end up having to cut it down. They have a beautiful nursery and holding lot with very healthy specimens to choose from.

Nora is an absolute genius! She helped me with my pond, gave me the equation on how to figure out how many gallons my pond is and recommended the right plants and the right fish. Their service guy Anthony was wonderful. He brought the plants and the fish, but probably because I was also giving them some Koi. Otherwise, I think you go pick your stuff up yourself, unless they're doing a service. They don't charge by the hour, like some of the ridiculous companies in Tucson, they charge by the job. To me that's fair. Way more fair than sending two of guys with only pressure washer experience at 150 bucks an hour! And as far-fetched as that sounds, I promise you there's a companies in town that do exactly that. Ponds Plants and More have great fish, great plants and great folks. I'm really happy that I found them. And I'm looking forward to making sure that they're the only ones in town that help me with my pond from now on.

Beware of this company. They installed a new pump in my pond. Then cut the wires exposing them…read moreabout two inches above the water and "sealed them with a liquid tape. For this I was charged $646.00 $389.98 for the pump and $225 for the service call. I had my electrician look at the pump and he informed me it was very dangerous. I brought this to the attention of the owner and nothing was done. I then had a pond expert check the wires out and he agreed it was dangerous. He replaced the pump and charged me $400 pump and labor. Certified letters requesting some kind of reimbursement were sent. Spoke with them and they denied wires were cut even though I have a written note from her stating that she sealed the wires she cut with liquid tape. They have refused any ownership of what was done or reimbursement. Do not use this pond company.

Some of the other places we look at the prices did not include planting. They came out to the house we're here in time planted it exactly where we wanted it in the yard. They did an excellent job. When they left you couldn't even tell something you had been planted, look like that cactus has always been here. They came…read moreone day to remove some and then cancelled the day before they were supposed to come back for the rest. A new date was set and they never showed up and were ignoring our calls, when we finally reached them via email they said their truck for transporting them broke down. When we asked about a new date, no response and now will not answer their phone. Communication is all we asked for if they need to wait for a buyer then that's ok but nothing has been said or done going on 3 weeks now! Now we have a terrible looking landscape and trying to find a new buyer.
