Great experience with Method Home Renovations We hired…read moreMethod Home Renovations for our bathroom renovation and couldn't be happier. Their communication was top-notch: daily progress photos and a heads-up every day about who would be at the house and when. Because this was our only full bath, they made it a priority to get the shower and tub ready to use within 5 days. They also repaired a damaged wall on the exterior side, and when it came to tile, they went to the store and handpick pieces that would match. They helped us find cost-saving alternatives which we really appreciated. They welcomed working with new materials. We wanted porcelain countertop and they were willing to install it. Their attention to detail really shows in the finished bathroom. Highly recommend!

Our experience with this contractor was very disappointing. After the project, we found nearly an…read moreinch of dust in the bathroom cabinets and on the window screens. There was a heavy layer of dust throughout the attached bedroom. Personal items--including jewelry, books, the TV, and bedding, etc. --were all covered. No protective coverings were placed on the stairs to the third floor bathroom, and both the contractor and his crew consistently walked through our home with their boots on. We now need to hire a professional company to clean the vents. We also encountered several unexpected additional charges throughout the project. While the workmanship itself was acceptable (a B), the lack of cleanliness and care for our home was extremely concerning (a D-). At the completion of the job the contractor also left two buckets of watery grout in our garage for us to dispose of. This reflects our experience and is offered to help others make an informed decision."*

Upstairs, they repaired parts of the subfloor in both the kitchen and the bathroom and built the entire kitchen from scratch. For the lower one, we also had them fix a part of the cabinets with water damage. For both projects, they were really helpful and knowledgeable, and we think the price was fair. I ask questions when I have them, and they are always willing to explain what they know and think. I missed that they did not fill the nail holes in the quarter-round moldings before making the payment, which I wish I had done, but I was able to take care of them on my own. If I had found them right after they were done, I think they would have done it for me as well. Overall, it was a good, helpful experience with relatively easy communication, and we are happy with how the project turned out. Based on my experience, communicating with some contractors is really hard, so I appreciated that aspect, too. I will recommend them to anyone considering kitchen remodeling.
