Our plan was to combine house and car insurance but the insurance company was the one saying we needed a new roof. They installed one on my house last year -- it has been great, no more leaks! Also, Ace provides excellent service after sale -- for example, I had bats coming in from the porch area -- Bill and his crew came over and fixed the opening (not actually part of the roof)! Then I had an issue with a gutter that did not drain properly -- they also came over and fixed that -- and installed a new drain spout, as part of their commitment to over all customer experience and satisfaction. Again, technically not part of the roof that they installed, but they fixed it anyways! They are not the cheapest in terms of price -- but you get what you pay for: Ace is a top level company in the field of roofing, even though they don't have big name recognition. I heard David Flores did some work in the neighborhood, and I contacted him about installing a basement egress window. He came out to give us an estimate the same day, talked through the options with us and explained the work (drainage!), and sent a detailed estimate with costs down to the penny. He scheduled an expert concrete cutter, included interior framing, and moved the dirt to where we needed it. The whole job was done in three days, and it's beautiful, so much light and peace of mind.
