Open Face Crisy Chicken Sandwich and fries

Great local spot for classic American comfort food. Tanya, our server, was super friendly and helpful. I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and my wife loved her salad and tortilla soup combo. We finished with the homemade brownie and ice cream--amazing! Relaxed vibe, great service, and indoor/outdoor seating. So glad Horizon 76 is in the neighborhood!

My wife and I stopped in here after seeing the good reviews. We were seated right away and had a friendly waitress come right over to take our orders. I ordered the brisket cheesecake with fries. The cheesesteak was tasty, but very dry, I had to keep adding mustard and ketchup to make it bearable. My wife had the smothered chicken with veggies and it arrived cold on the inside meaning it was probably not freshly cooked just gravy added. The price was very reasonable, but probably won't visit again.

We genuinely appreciate a visit by Dwight when he's able to come walk the dining room, it truly makes us feel appreciated, and also familiar. The food is so relatable, what I mean is there really is something for everyone here, whether I want some comfort food like Chicken Pot Pie, or something more high end like a steak prepared in a variety of different options and cuts. The menu has a lot to choose from without being overwhelming and who knew marshmallows can be hand crafted?!? LOL, I mean, the taste difference is something to be experienced!

We got here at 9pm. Our waitress was beyond amazing. If you stop by ask for Taniya. The chicken pot pie was true home run. It gave me that comfort feeling. Bacon wrapped shrimp is a must order with a loaded bake potato. Lastly the cheese burger and fries weren't a miss. With this quality of food and service. We look forward to our next visit. Ohhh don't forgot to order that amazing soft pretzel.

Great meal, can't believe it's not busier here for a Saturday. Location was easy to find with plenty of parking. Very accessible, lots of tables and room to maneuver a wheelchair or walker if needed. Bathrooms were clean too. Caden took great care of us. Our drinks came out slow, but the bar was busy, and the bartender gave us a good pour on the whiskey. Apps and dinner came out quickly and were hot! My brisket enchiladas were delicious - I believe they were wrapped corn tortillas which were i love. My sister had the pot roast and she loved it. Her hubby and my hubby both had the combo fajitas. They both said the chicken was dry and there was not enough beef but they cleaned their plates so.... We would all definitely stop back!

I tend to go to a lot of places and get a good or a great first experience. Horizon 76 completely exceeded my expectations and would fall into the category of elite first experience. From the time I entered to the time I exited the service was top-tier. The atmosphere was very chill and the lighting was just right. The restaurant is Farm to table food, and every bit of it tasted amazing. If there was one thing I would say I'd probably like the fried green tomatoes to have a little more salt however the chicken fried fillet, you could literally cut with a fork. The mashed potatoes and the mac & cheese were from scratch the mac & cheese definitely had a nice creamy texture and tasted amazing. Not only would I recommend this to everyone I assure you, I will be coming back myself

We came on a night where the kitchen was short staffed and it slowed service down but we weren't in a hurry. Staff were friendly and most tables waiting also seemed understanding. Ordered the pretzel appetizer, a drink, a steak salad and chicken enchiladas. The pretzel is huge and shareable between 3-4 people. The steak on salad was perfectly cooked and the enchilada plate was good. The Elvis drink I ordered is a hard pass, on presentation and taste. It was topped with the most greased microwaved looking bacon and the drink looked slightly watery with the bacon in it. They may need to improve cocktails or lower the price of them. We will likely come back to try happy hour it says it included a small bites buffet.

Overall this place was just mid. We went at an off time so it wasnt very full. I ordered the brisket enchiladas with chili on top, duck fries and a salad. The enchiladas probably would have been ok but the "chili" on top was horrible. It was really just beans in juice. The fries however, were wonderful, crispy and tasteful. My husband ordered a chicken fried steak with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The chicken fried steak was well fried but lacked flavor. The mac and cheese while cheesy was also bland. He also ordered an old fashion which while small and expensive he enjoyed, I ordered the American margarita and it wasnt really good but was strong enough that one had me slighty buzzed. Our waitress was great.

We went for my brother's 18th birthday! Atmosphere: Casual dress, fancy interior. Chandeliers and a nice atmosphere for a casual dinner or celebration. Loved the vibe was not stuffy fancy but also was nice enough for the birthday pictures! Everything from the Horizon Burger to the drinks were amazing. Things I would for sure recommend are the fried green tomatoes, fried mac n' cheese, any of the burgers, and the chicken pot pie :) (anything not mentioned but is included in the pictures were not very memerable but still good). The staff was incredibly nice and sang for my brother as well!

Good service and interesting food options. The Deviled Eggs made a good appetizer, and the Mac-n-Cheese Burger filled me up. My wife enjoyed the Chicken & Waffles (sweet syrup in the fried chicken batter). Good takes on standard new-American fare.

O my goodness! The food was great, service was fast and friendly, and the ambience was patriotic and comfortable! I had to stop myself mid meal to rescue some dinner for my son at home! I'm coming back for CRISPY DUCK FAT FRIES and TABLE-TOASTED SMORES!

They had a few rooms you could reserve for a private party. They offer a brunch menu until 3pm but you can also order off their dinner menu if you so choose. Since this was our first visit we had a difficult time deciding what to have. Our waiter was very accommodating & didn't make any of us feel rushed. For our extremely picky eater the kitchen made adjustments to make sure he had an enjoyable meal. After we made our selections, I feel like our food arrived in a very timely fashion & everyone was very pleased with their selections. Their mustard seed ketchup was interesting to see but very tasty. Even our picky eater thought it was good not that he strayed from the regular ketchup! The only thing we didn't try was their whisky cake because we were too full from our meals. My wife thinks this means we should go back just for appetizers & dessert. Which of course we will plan on soon. All in all it more than deserves 5 stars. And I wish we had taken photos but we were enjoying being with the kids too much to bring our phones out. Definitely put this location on your radar, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all!

Shut up and take my money…read more Impeccable service. Staff was super helpful, over the phone answering queries about wait time and in person. The servers are very knowledgable about the food and drinks and were able to break down the mixology (my husband found a new favorite whiskey). As always, hubby asked for the dairy-based condiments to be left off his dishes, and although he has more of an intolerance than an actual allergy, the server (without being asked) consulted the chef and was able to list every dairy ingredient in every dish, down to the milk powder in the brioche. (You'd be surprised how often the staff just shrugs and has no idea what's in their own food.) I believe no matter what you order, it will be one of the finest examples of that menu item you will ever taste. We had the crab cake appetizer, prime rib and gouda stack, french onion burger, chips, fries, whiskey cake, and cocktails. My husband's old fashioned was the best old fashioned he had ever tasted. He ordered a second. The food was sublime, each menu item was either delicious or outstanding. Whiskey cake is the only item on their dessert menu because it is the only dessert you will need. It is their version of a sticky toffee pudding. It's huge. We were there for a birthday, so we were given the whiskey cake for free. I'd say the margarita was just a margarita, and the water in the fancy jug was definitely gross tap water, but every other food and drink item was perfection. The restaurant is appealing and clean inside. I am glad we were seated in one of the side porch areas where there is sunlight and fewer folks. The interior is quite dark and loud, but nothing outrageous. It's just that style of restaurant. Happy hour is weekdays 3-6, with a small selection of popular drinks for $7.

She was very pleasant & interesting to talk to as she gave us the names of other sister restaurants & elaborated on their specialties & their world- famous chefs. While each of us had different entrees we all raved about the appearances & flavors of each one. And the assistant manager, Michael, stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meals & to see if we had any complaints. There were none, but it isn't often that restaurant managers come by & greet their customers. However, the highlight of our meals we agreed was dessert. Several of us had the Key Lime Pie which was excellent & enough for 2 to share. But the winner of the dessert competition was the Butter Cookie-Cake which wasn't even on the menu but was so yummy all of us had rather large bites & said we'd come back just for that dessert alone. Thank you, Marissa, for suggesting we try it--but it's puzzling why it's not on the menu. Before we left the restaurant Manager, Stephanie, came by to introduce herself & hear our feedback. THAT very rarely happens & demonstrates a concerted attention to customer satisfaction. All in all, the Towne Grill provided a delicious meal & excellent service. However, I went to the bar to buy a drink after dinner and she took issue with the $20 I handed her for payment. It was an older $20 from before they changed the design. She held it up to the light and was looking for the strip and said that because it didn't have the strip that she couldn't accept it. I looked at the bill and saw that it was a 1988 bill. I told her this and she said it should still have the strip in it. I didn't want to argue so I happily paid using a different $20, but my curiosity got the better of me later that evening and I looked it up and she was incorrect. They did not start adding the strips until 1992. I could understand if it was some youngster that might only be familiar with the newer bill design, but she was not young. I also would have accepted her stance if she said it was hotel policy to only accept bills that have the strip. The way the interaction took place left me feeling accused of trying to pass a counterfeit bill. A little more tact would have gone a long way here. I feel like a hotel manager would be more in tune with customer service. Funny enough, I went back to the bar the next night and paid with the $20 in question. The bartender on duty that night accepted it without batting an eyelash. Food was just okay. Our group tried a variety of menu items: Ribs, wings, carbonara, salmon, pretzel appetizer, hummus, and maybe a couple other things. Ribs were probably the best thing, but nothing really stood out.
