Great service and atmosphere in small town Texas. The meat in the chicken fried steak was probably the best I've ever had. The breading was a bit underdone and the gravy was just okay. The fries were delicious and crispy from the duck fat but I felt they were over seasoned. My wife had the fried bologna sandwich which she said was the best she'd ever had. I write this review after many visits, maybe 15-20 to H76. My wife and I think this is one of the best restaurants in Keller or North Fort Worth. The steaks are Wagyu from their own farm. I almost always order a steak. The butchers cut is my go-to. But you cant go wrong with the strip or filet. I've also really enjoyed the avocado cilantro chicken. We like to sit at the bar because of the tv's, the vibe and the attentive bartenders. Its also cool to watch the kitchen staff doing their thing. Definitely, start with the H76 Old Fashioned! It's served with a huge cube (block) of H76 branded ice that lasts a couple hours. Much longer than the cocktail. It is definitely the best cocktail in Keller. Get the deviled eggs! Get the bread! Friendly greeting. Went there tonight specifically for their Fried Green Tomatoes...6pm on a Friday, they were all out. REALLY?? This is the 2nd time this has happened. Very frustrating!! We arrived just before 6:20pm on a Monday. I had a hankering for a burger. It wasn't busy, maybe 5 tables were already seated when we arrived. We ordered sweet and unsweetened tea (1 each), the Original Horizon Burger and the H76 Triple Smash Burger, both with fries. We didn't make any modifications to the burgers, just the way they came. It did take forever to get our food. I appreciate waiting for freshness and food that is prepared while you wait, but it seemed like an excessive wait for 2 hamburgers. We also had to flag down our server to ask for our tea when it didn't arrive after 10 minutes. All in all we were there for an hour. I don't know if they were understaffed, but it took over 30 minutes to get our food for sure. We weren't starving so the wait for food wasn't that big of a deal for us, just something we noticed for sure. When the food came, the famous duck fries that we had been hearing about were "warm" at best. The burgers were piping hot. My smash burger was delicious. My parter thought his (original) was good, but liked mine (smash) better. We both were indifferent to the duck fries. Maybe they taste better hot. But warm they were just "eh". Our server, Evelyn, was very sweet. Note: we didn't address the "warm" fries with Evelyn. By the time we got our food, they started to get significantly more busy so we just finished our burgers and asked for the check. I'd like to give it another chance. Great food, great service, and I love the menu. I've been here a few times now and it's in our restaurant rotation. The Hanging Soft Pretzel is a good starter that comes with 3 dips: chili queso, spicy mustard, and sweet honey mustard. The burgers are delicious. I'm a fan of the Texan and the Angry Cowboy. Make room for the desserts. The Table Roasted S'mores and brownie sundae is a favorite and if you like Apple Pie, I recommend theirs. They have lots of options if you're not into burgers. I've done take-out a few times here, but this was my first time eating inside the restaurant. After our movie watching date, the hubby and I decided to top off the day with an early dinner. We arrived on a Saturday around 4pm. There were a few folks inside, but most of them were at the bar watching football on the big screens mounted on the wall. We were warmly greeted and given time to look over the large menus. They were out of some of the beers I was interested in, so I went with the HWY 377 Sour. Who knew that Cabernet, bourbon, and lemon juice combine for a delicious cocktail!!!! Even the hubby was surprised at how refreshing and strong it was. We got the fried chicken pot pie and the American backyard burger. The kitchen forgot to top off my pot pie with a fried chicken tender, but our waiter noticed immediately and brought me a side of tenders. Both entrees were delicious. That pot pie was suggested by our waiter. I'm glad he suggested it because it was super delish and decadent. There are pieces of house made fried chicken tenders throughout the creamy filling. The duck fries on the burger entree were over cooked (hard) but we overlooked that because the burger was a perfect medium rare. After dinner, we indulged further by getting the apple pie with bourbon sauce and ice cream. The crust, sauce, and ice cream were delish, but the filling fell a tad flat. It was still good overall - we ate all of it. LOL! Our waiter was delightful and checked on us appropriately. We liked that we could also watch the football games on the big screens (sound turned off of course). The interior is comfy and rustic. There is plenty of parking. Have only heard of good things about Horizon 76 and wanted to try them out for dinner one night with my boyfriend. Definitely was not disappointed! If you ever have the opportunity to try them out, I highly recommend it. For lunch or dinner. We had their chicken sandwich and their American bone-in burger. Both were delicious. The American bone-in burger really was the star of the show though. It was so juicy and flavorful. The patty comes with the bone in it, just like a bone-in steak. Love their fries. All around, everything tasted amazing. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out fresh. Even the chef made sure to come by towards the end of your meal to check on everything and introduce himself. Lovely experience! Stopped here to have food and drinks on the patio while waiting for our daughter who was at an event down the street. Our mixed drinks were ok, took a while to get them and tasted a bit sweeter than we like. The fried green tomatoes had too much batter and not enough seasoning. The duck fries were good. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp with a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese seemed to have been premade and reheated, as the cheese was separating and very oily. First let me say Daniel provided exceptional service. We sat outside and he handled all 4 of the tables outside while making drinks and hosting. He never missed a step. We were super impressed. I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the triple smash burger. The only complaint he had was he didn't care for the sauce on it but that's a taste preference. The drinks were also excellent. I had the Old Glory which even my husband liked and he had the old fashion. He's an old fashion snob and critiques them everywhere we go. This is a Keller just do for dinner. the food is so top notch. and totally get the smores experience for dessert. especially if you have kids, heck even if it's just a date night. just do it, you can't beat a home made marshmallow. the food here is just amazing. I can't speak to the food. My friend and I were in the area shopping and wanted to grab a drink on a patio before heading home. I opened up my yelp app, searched happy hour near me, and Horizon popped up. Lucky for us, they do half price margarita Mondays. Score. It has just fallen below unbearably hot, so we got a table on the patio. The patio is NICE. It is large and there are plenty of TV's out there if you're showing up to watch a game. Emily was our server, and we asked her if they had any spicy margaritas. She said they could make anything spicy, it wasn't a problem. We ordered the cucumber margarita, spicy. They were really good. My husband and I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for quite awhile, but hadn't found ourselves in the area until this past Tuesday night. I am so glad we stopped in. The young man at the host stand was very polite and friendly (even made sure the women's restroom was supplied with paper towels once I mentioned they were out) and our server, Jocelyn, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave honest opinions on the various dishes we asked about. We enjoyed the cheesy duck fries, the Wagyu cheesesteak sandwich and a Caesar salad. We had inquired about their roasted red bell pepper soup, but decided on the salad instead. Jocelyn brought us out a sample of the soup to try in case we wanted to order the next time. The place had great drink specials... Tuesday is half price beers! This is another one of our favorite restaurants in rotation for our weekly family dinner. We usually have anywhere from 10 to 13 people with us so it's important that a restaurant be able to take care of us reasonably. The inside of this restaurant is very cute and open. My friend and I met there for dinner for the first time on Tuesday July 25th. Our server was named Esther and she was absolutely amazing. I felt like she could've totally sat down with us and hung out with us. her recommendations for food were spot on. We enjoyed the happy hour margaritas. Everything was incredibly delicious. Ordered the Caesar salad and the lettuce was warm and the chicken was Luke warm as if they placed an old chicken tender on top. Then it didn't have croutons as described. I asked for a fresh chicken tender and the croutons and the waitress brought them out. So I then had to hand pick all of the old chicken off and put the new chicken on with the croutons myself instead of them offering to make me a new salad. Came here for the first time wasn't disappointed! A few things would say it is a very slow paced restaurant; when I say this I say that the service is kind and well organized just slow. Took 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive food from when we got our appetizer. Server was super kind though! When we received our food everything seemed great! (We ordered cowgirl salad, American burger, and chicken tenders) both the salad and the burger were good and meat was cooked correctly, but.... The chicken tenders were over breaded and were over cooked (very dry) and the gravy was cold sadly. Overall we would come again but maybe order something different and definitely don't come here if your in a hurry or for quick eats. Prices were also reasonable. read more

The bartenders were fantastic and friendly. We ordered our poor man's martinis, beers with olives, yum. They were presented nicely and with a smile. After a recommendation from a customer we ordered a bone in burger with mushrooms and onions, the duck chips, and the Mac n cheese. Oh my goodness, both sides were really really good. Horizon 76 is a hidden gem! The owner/head chef Dwight always makes rounds to chat and check in with customers, the food is TOP NOTCH in both quality and flavor, and the service is exquisite. Our server last night was Luis, and he was fantastic. Not only did he give us his honest opinion on various dishes, but he was wonderfully patient with our large party (with several toddlers) and very attentive in the most non-intrusive way. Our experience today was AMAZING *you have to say it in a sing-song voice* !!! Our server, Maddie, was so helpful and attentive but not overbearing. She explained one of the side items on the menu to me (red pepper bisque is a soup btw!) and was definitely tipped well for her effort. Initially, there was a screwup with the wait staff; no one was assigned to our table. We finally get a waitress, get our drinks, & place our order. Nearly 40 minutes later, we see our food on a tray coming out of the kitchen and turning around and going back. The Frozen Firecracker is gorgeous and so yummy. I opted for a cherry coke. I'm the DD. The food arrived hot and wow! Chef Dwight came to check on us. He was adorable. We also got the S'mores dessert. When I say wow!, I mean WOW! You make your own with a little fire pot. It's only $10 for 4 s'mores. And with just 2 of us it was a perfect dessert.
