I had my dog get groomed yesterday. The lady that groomed him, Sara (or at least that was the name…read moreshe gave me and she had removed her name tag prior to pick up), was not very professional about issues she ran into during the appointment. She suggested I hire a private groomer for his next haircut; however, psp is a private company (public being run by the government) that offers grooming services. I have no problem taking my business back to PetSmart next time as we have had zero issues with my dog with their groomers. I would be worth while for management to investigate the number of complaints that come from this groom and consider if the way she treats the animals that incites stress in the dogs. I will not be conducting any future business with this location.

Told owner I bought supplies online, and she remarked, "Did you buy a guinea pig online too?" We also went there to look at ferrets, and she said we have to use sanitizer in order to hold them, then she picks them up without sanitizing her hands, as shes sniffeling, and coughing the whole time we were there. My wife also put her hand down to pet a ferret, and the lady said "yeah, theres a sign there saying do not reach in cage, for a reason". She says they start training ferrets as soon as they arrive to use litter box, but she has 8 ferrets in circle floor play pen, and they poop and pee on the tile instead of their litter boxes, and there is no litter in the litter box, just an empty litter box. How are you gonna train them with no litter? No wonder they won't use the litter box.

They did not tell me about the extra charge, and when I asked about it the "manager" who was a heavily tattooed, obnoxious woman with multiple piercings, told me that was the usual charge. when I went to pick up my dog, they told me to come back in an hour. (There was another couple with two dogs who were also turned away abruptly.' The groomer was very professional, kind with our dog and was able to finish the job quickly for a decent price. There definitely is no shortage of grooming customers so they clearly do a great job! We visit my parents who live in the area a few times a month, and now we'll be bring our dog in for upkeep when we're in town.
