We, spent a good while looking for a new puppy we currently have 2 2year old Teddy Bears and have recently lost our little 8 month old, ( He had and Enlarged heart and fluid on his lungs ) after all the scam adds that are out there that wont let you come see the puppy and do remote meet or delivery. We found Preppy Pups and narrowed down to six then to two choices I had one i like Lisa had one she liked we had several call with Terri and felt very comfortable and confidant were making the right choice, Lisa drove to Clintonville to visit and meet the puppies. Well the one i liked cam right to Lisa with lickies and tail wags and the other one was just tugging at his brother. As like in the military "No Man Left Behind" we couldn't leave or separate these 2 puppers, so we got 2. Terri thank you so much for helping make our choice easy, Peanut and Nugget will be so loved and play with their new brothers We Highly recommend Preppy Pups read more

Very clean and knowledgeable. Their puppies are from fantastic trusted breeders. I just got my Shorkie from them last week and my vet gave him a clean bill of health after full examination, blood test, and fecal. I highly recommend Preppy Pups. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business. Sandy and her husband were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient in regards to helping our family find the right member for our family. When we had some concerns and questions about our new puppy, the breeder actually called us and spent close to an hour talking to us to ensure that all of our questions were answered and concerns resolved. Thank you for a truly great experience!!! read more

Every pup I've gotten here has been happy and healthy. The owner and staff are very nice. And their puppies are all adorable!

Great place for small breeds. They care about their dogs, a customer has to "fit". The breeder worked with me on a special situation. Prices sound high but are reasonable. The website shows what they are selling now. read more

Preppy Pups - This is my Bailey. She is part yorkie, shizu and poodle. Three years already. - Pet Services Near Me - West Allis, Wisconsin

Sandy and her husband helped us today. They were informative and helpful. We are trying to pick the best puppy for us and we learned so much from them. We are so excited to go back and pick our puppy read more

My daughter brought me a pup for my Birthday. I spent over 1500.00 at the vet because he was sick. I wouldn't recommend this place to no one read more

We'll, all I can say is wow or holy s***. I bought the love of my life there 7 months ago and he ended up having a double hernia, severe ear infection, and parasites so bad it took a couple months of meds and trying to find the right food to help his digestive system get on track. I figured, I love him with all my heart and I rescued him. I went back today to see if there was another little girl or boy that melted my heart and somehow the two workers (a 20ish year old male and female) ended up blowing up at me and my 81 year old mom because my mom asked if the puppies were from a puppy mill. There are no words to describe the entire experience - I'm so happy I have my little man, but so sad for all the other puppies. If you want to rescue a puppy and can get past the absolute weirdness the two employees portray, then this is the place for you. read more

I don't even know what to say, the lady was nice but on something nice I can't even put into words the experience I had there today. The worker went from walking being all over the place to the worker yelling at the puppies where the puppy couldn't even poop correctly, not know if she was yelling at the puppy for pooping and the puppy not knowing what to do just shaking because he need to go. She would be giving information and then start going off on rants about different things and talking crap about different customers or different puppy stores, as I agree no pet supply store is treating animals well in small confined places but she needs to learn customer service as we both care for the dogs her behavior ruined the experience completely. read more

Wish I could give no stars. 1st they sole us a sick dog . Then come to find out they sold us a yorkie that she said was pure breed and now we found out hes mixed with something and without a dna we dont know what he is mixed with. This store is a sham and sells mixed dogs but clams that are not . Please if you want a puppy do not buy from here. read more

Puppy's look great and seem to sell fast. We came into Preppy Pups a handful of times and asked a million questions. The employees always answered our questions and were helpful. After a couple of months we finally purchased a male Malti-Poo a few days ago. He's very well tempered and adjusting to our family great. Our three young children love him. Took him to our vet today to get checked out and they agree he is a healthy young pup. At this point we couldn't be happier. Nice store. read more

I decided to check in on this location to see the health and well being of the puppies. The moment we walked in the seller yelled at us upon entry wanting to know if we came from the humane society and accused them of spreading parvo. This embarrassed the person I was with as she yelled at us in front of people. Besides the rude behavior I can tell you this facility is selling puppy mill puppies. There are a variety of breeds being sold and no reputable breeder allows their dogs to be sold in this environment. Puppy mill breeders are USDA licensed. In fact, dog breeders that have some of the WORST violations are USDA licensed, inspected and approved to breed. While the puppy you are purchasing might not appear sick, many of them are riddled with genetic diseases that won't appear until later. Why pay thousands of dollars when you have no clue where this puppy came from? #showmethemommy Please visit the following websites for more information: https://maps.bailingoutbenji.com/wisconsin/table https://www.humanesociety.org/resources/how-find-responsible-dog-breeder read more

I haven't actually been to the store, but I have spoken with the store manager Sandy, who has extensive knowledge of dogs, and she has been extremely helpful in deciding what breed is best for our family and very patient with my nervous nelly questions. We're still debating if we are ready for our first puppy, but when we are, we'll be calling Terri, the breeder (also spoke to me for awhile and very helpful) and Sandy! read more

Absolutely love Terri and Sandy I got my first baby from them 4 years ago. Sandy helped with information on what I needed to fly home with a new puppy. We have since driven to Wisconsin and adopted three more babies. We purchased additional land to create our own dog park. I love the fact that Preppy Pups is picky on the prospective owners. If we ever choose to own another dog, I will work with Terri again without hesitation. If I could I would give them a 10. read more

I came in to look at puppies, Oh man i was Not disappointed! I was so in love with all the puppies and Sandy is the best! She was so warm, and knew alot about the dogs and there personalities! I was happy to have come here because i can play with the puppies with permission of course and see how they interact with other dogs. I cant wait to come back and purchase a precious dog soon! I Highly recommend this place, especially for 1st time pet owners. read more

Not the place to go if you are looking for good customer service. Horrible experience there today, I was in and out in less then 5 minutes. Their website says they control the temperament of the puppies which I can't see to be a positive considering the woman who was there was banging on the cage of a barking puppy saying "I don't have patience for you today". As she was cleaning poop out of one cage she was pushing the puppies off her shoulder yelling at them to stop. My son asked to use the bathroom and she stated "we have one but I don't let little boys use it because they pee all over". When I assured her he won't do that she proceeded to say "well then you are going to have to wait because I just disinfected it" We immediately left after that since she obviously doesn't have patience for children or puppies. As we were leaving I said there was no need for the rudeness to which she replied "well it's not a petting zoo". I don't know about you but I want to spend a little time seeing if the puppy is a good fit before purchasing. The puppies are very over priced and she was not a friendly person. We've stopped in before and she was the same person working. I've heard her say nasty comments about customers after they left before, just do your homework and try to buy elsewhere. Their Facebook doesn't allow for reviews and my comments were deleted shortly after leaving them. That's a red flag on the business too. read more

If you are looking for a place to kiss your ass and beg you to do business, this is not the place for you. Instead of worrying about what people think, Sandy is foremost concerned about the animals and will not allow anyone to leave with a puppy if they aren't a good fit. That means sometimes people will hear things they don't want to hear. For me, this is a positive thing - as it prevents these beautiful animals from being placed in an environment that could be neglectful or abusive. She also won't place animals that aren't eating or exhibiting other concerns. When I walked in, I'll admit, she didn't immediately have the warm fuzzies of a checker of Trader Joe's - but she genuinely knows each of the animals and can tell you, "oh, she's the boss of this group!" or "he likes to hide when he poops, you have to watch him." In a world where animals are commodities, this is the exception - which is a relief as I struggle with the notion of purchasing an animal vs. a rescue. She was able to provide documentation as far back as 5 generations from the puppy's family as well as tons of information from the small mother/daughter breeder - and invitations to visit them and see the facilities personally. When it comes to living animals, the customer is NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. I left feeling extremely satisfied with the care, attention, and devotion these animals get. Expect to be prodded and know it's not always going to be comfortable. It's necessary to ensure a good fit. And in the end, it's the right thing for the animals. P.S. My little Lucy has been here for a week. She is the sweetest, most mild-mannered puppy (at 10 weeks, no less!) and the vet was extremely complimentary at her perfect health and the measures taken to make sure she had every vaccine recommended as well as dewormers. Very happy with everything. Highly recommend. read more

Came into your store on 9/11/16 and I'm still confused on why lady working there was so very rude. We walked in and she never stopped barking at us ( no pun intended) and lecturing us on Paris Hilton's dog??? She was horrible and not appreciated. WILL NOT GO BACK, luckily I found my perfect puppy the next day somewhere else. read more

Sandy knows what she is doing. She is screening people to make sure they are getting puppies for the right reason and are a good match. We got our dog from Preppy Pups almost two years ago. Healthy and wonderful dog and would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a new family member. read more

We bought our bichon poo from here 7 years ago this summer. She has been a blessing in our lives and she's absolutely wonderful. Smartest, most kind little thing. That being said, the customer service here (was) truly awful. It is clear their number one priority is making money. We have been back since and it is still the case that you receive no information on the parents or where the puppies came from. When we asked questions we were quickly dismissed and glared at. When we got our puppy she was sick and nearly died, costing us over $700 in vet bills and there was nothing done on the part of the breeder to reimburse and or help us without potentially giving our puppy back. Great dog, sketchy company. read more

We love Preppy Pups! And Sandy, who works in the store, is wonderful.....very knowledgable and helpful in explaining everything related to the pups, including their personalities and what will best match a family. She also keeps the store in pristine condition.....constantly moving around and cleaning up after and caring for the pups. We have two pups from Preppy Pups....one became part of our family 10 years ago and the other one 6 years ago. They are the best dogs ever....the best personalities! They have always been healthy and we have never had any issues. We would absolutely get another pup from Preppy Pups.....we have complete faith and trust in how they raise and care for their dogs. read more
