It took a few visits before she learned the routine. Before I knew it, she was actually happy and initiating zoomies during the afternoon play session. The gals are great - Roxy runs right up to them, and from the reports they give me at pickup, she actually listens to them (?!). Beagles are notorious for their stubborn behavior and mine is no exception. She has a relaxed temperament and can be quite shy, especially around larger dogs. She does great with the smaller dogs and she has always been put with that group during playtime. I love the fact they post photos to their Facebook group, often throughout the day, so I can see how my Roxy Roo is doing. The increase in her confidence has been very apparent when comparing photos from her first few stays until recent. The hours are fantastic and they offer a reasonable rate. I've never had an issue with getting Roxy in without booking ahead of time. This has been huge for me as sometimes I do not know if I will be working in the field until last minute. Upon pickup, my pup tells me (VERY LOUDLY) how her day was and she has always been noticeable well cared for during her stay. She gets exhausted from playing, and her socialization skills and anxiety of being left alone has improved greatly. Prior to taking her to daycare, she would scream cry if I was gone for more than 5 minutes. Now she can be left alone 3-4 hours. Progress! Sometimes the facility is out of my way to a field site but I'll happily take the extra time to come here where I know my dog will be cared for and remembered. Great job! Recommend and will continue to use their services :)

Her nails were still ridiculously long after her "trim." Because of this, I tried a different groomer this month. We went today, and I was told her ears were really dirty. I don't understand why her ears would be dirty when she doesn't roll around in anything. If they had cleaned her ears properly last month, they wouldn't have been "really dirty" this month. In addition, the parking lot is a nightmare. I can't speak to their other services, but definitely will not be back.

We have a three legged Doodle, which as you can imagine presents some challenges. Ours was Brittany's first tripod, and over the last year she has been extremely patient in establishing a relationship with her, and getting her to become more and more relaxed with every visit. There was a big gap between appointments due to an injury our Doodle suffered the end of 2025, but once she was confidently back on all threes, I called Brittany and was able to get her in fairly quickly. She turned a matted, overgrown mess into a whole new dog! As much as we loved her longer hair, the new look has definitely grown on us. She's a whole new dog, and we are grateful for Brittany for all she's done for us!

My dog was scalped everywhere except her face and that was not carefully cut. There were areas with stray clumps not even trimmed (tail, sides). She looked horrible and it was obvious she couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! NEVER AGAIN!

Between taking care of my grandma, my mom, and a new puppy, I was overwhelmed. I started sending Oliver to Lake Country Dog to give him some attention and to give me a bit of a break while I tended to the other people in my life. He loves going to "school" so much, that I can't say that word in front of him without him getting excited. I know that when he's there, he is loved and well cared for. My mom has been out of treatment for a year, and my grandmother passed away last August, so I don't have a need to send Oliver to Lake Country Dog for daycare. But he loves it so much, that I still send him once a week!! Natasha also grooms him, and always does a great job. One time, he even fell asleep while being groomed. We haven't been going there that long so I'm sure next grooming, if we tell them, they will see what we're asking for. They groom our Scotty and he could pose for a magazine - he looks so good. They also handle our "special needs" Westie with TLC. She always looks very good, happy plus she's 14 yrs old with health problems, and she's blind. They do a great job with her and when we pick her up she seems very happy - not stressed at all. Prices are a bit higher than we were use to.
