And you see them struggle with a new situation. But after their first visit, you see them become more comfortable with their paws being touched and ears being looked at. And after a few more visits, they love their groomer and happily trot back with them! It's fantastic to see our dogs each learn to trust the experience and the groomer. To me, it means that when I'm away and they're being groomed, each dog has been treated with respect and handled with care. My dogs have all been large, and if they didn't want to go back with the groomer, they'd let you know my refusing to budge. Erin has handled our poofy Great Pyrenees and his immense coat with the same detail and expertise that she has given to our sleek Black Lab mix who has anxiety and dry skin. We also have a Komondor mix that she has helped with since he was a puppy ; helping to keep his nails, ears, and sanitary areas tidy while I do the work of creating his cords at home. They have been so understanding about his unique coat and we couldn't be happier! I appreciate their expertise and will keep going for all our needs!

For $10 a day (per pup) you can bring your pooch here and enjoy the company. There are a few options for exercise here: two indoor play areas (they call it a small dog area and a large dog area, but the only times I have seen the second one operational is for dog birthday parties... yes it's a thing). I will say that the indoor space is small and gets overcrowded quickly, but it's a nice option. Outside there is a large area with play structures (for the hounds!) and turf for them to run on. They have poop bags and scrub brushes to use if there is a poo on the turf. They have staff outside to monitor behavior and they're quick to get involved with the unlikely scuffle between pups. There are several picnic tables for the people and a garage door that opens to... A FULL BAR! The bar is stocked with a TON of options, and there is almost always an awesome food truck to get noms. Leah, the owner, is involved with the community as well. For example, during March, Women's History Month, proceeds from certain drink brands are donating money to Sojourner (if you're unfamiliar with the organization, they're incredible), and they are hosting pictures with the Easter Bunny for pups all 100% of proceeds go to the cause. I was at work all day and had arranged for someone to pick up my dog. Unforeseen circumstances happened and I found out that my pup wasn't picked up. I spoke with the owner via text and she was completely understanding and offered to keep my dog there with her until I got off work! I couldn't get there until 5PM and keep in mind, the shop closes at 4PM. She even offered to walk her since she'd been there all day! When I FINALLY came to the shop, she was so amazing as I apologized profusely. I went to pay and then my card was having issues. Go figure. I took Einstein to Fancy Pants today for his first grooming appointment and all I asked them to do was shampoo blow dry, clip the hairs from his butt so his poop wouldn't stick to his hair and clean around his eyes. I specifically said do not cut his hair down because the kids love it when he runs in his hair flops in the wind. When I arrived all of his hair was cut off. I expressed my disappointment and requested a refund just then all their customer service went downhill from there. They refused to refund me and accuse me of being a bad Pet owner. One lady said it's just a dog his hair will grow back. Another lady told me I should brush him and take better care of him. The cashier said I should groom him myself ...Wow! I would've never expected to be treated like this, all because of an $80 refund. They could have offered a partial refund or discount on future services instead they Insulted me one by one as they stood behind the counter and laughed.
