This was still a horrendous experience from start to finish. We arrived around 3:45 PM and were told to seat ourselves. Since we have a 1-year-old, we chose a table in the back where other guests were already seated. That section was split between two servers, and somehow neither one took responsibility for our table. We sat for nearly 20 minutes with no greeting, no drinks, and no acknowledgment until I had to get up and find a manager. The biggest issue here is the complete lack of communication among staff. It was obvious the servers were working their own tables but not communicating with each other. At the very least, the server who was clearly attentive to the tables directly across from us could have alerted her coworker that a new table had been sitting unattended. That basic level of teamwork was missing. To be fair, once our assigned server, Melanie, finally addressed us, she did apologize for the delay and acknowledged the lack of communication. I appreciate that. However, an apology at the end does not erase the fact that it took far too long to even be acknowledged. It is now 4:30 PM and everyone in my party has received their food except for me. Waiting 45 minutes while the rest of your table eats is unacceptable. This experience points to poor coordination and weak floor management. Customers should not have to chase down staff to receive basic service. There are too many other options to justify returning after an experience like this. read more

Came today because the family wanted wings. The wings were awful this visit. Dry as I have ever had. Asked for them medium and were served so dry and overcooked that we had to say something. When the server went to tell the manager. The manager wouldn't even come to our table. He told her to take five bucks off the bill at such a shame, especially since I'm an executive chef and I work in the food and beverage industry if anyone wants to go to Hooters because the wings are normally fantastic. I suggest going to the one on Call Way by far. They have the best Customer Service and the best tasting wings ever. I don't think I'll ever come to this Hooters again, even though it's closer to my house. I would rather take the drive and make sure that the qualities is on point. What a shame. read more

The spousal unit and I visited this Hooters on 2/17/2025 for lunch. "Diamond" was our server. I ordered the lunch special - 10 pc boneless wings and fries + iced tea + water. The spousal unit ordered the lunch special - Buffalo shrimp wrap (grilled with mild sauce) + iced tea + water. When Diamond delivered our iced teas, she said she would be right back with water. It never came. No complaints with my boneless wings, but the spouse's grilled/mild sauce shrimp wrap was fried with no sauce. Once we had our food, Diamond never once stopped at our table to check on our food, offer iced tea refills, deliver water, etc. Even when we were finished and had everything stacked on the edge of the table, we had to track her down to get the check and a to-go box (for fries). Translation: crappy service on top of improperly prepared food! We were seated where I had a great view of wine glasses at the bar, and they were gross! Dried soap (which will give you the craps), hard water stains, and/or greasy fingerprints were on just about every glass I could see. I don't think I will ever visit this Hooters again. Worst hooters I've ever been to. There were 5 of us, only one of us was satisfied with the food and he literally likes anything. It took about an hour to get seated, and a group that got here 15 minutes after us got seated before us because we had 1 extra person (a child, that could have gotten seated with one us, it didn't matter). Our group of 8 got seated in separate tables. The waitress was extremely slow... like I have never experienced such delay in everything. The drinks tasted like they had no alcohol and the waitress said "that's the point", but NO ONE feels anything whatsoever. I'm typing this as we're waiting for our boxes and check while seeing the waitress yapping her life off with people outside (it's been 30 minutes waiting). I realize it's a matter of taste, so for me the Hooters chicken wings are the best, and in this Doral location they are consistently out of this world. Today I order them with the super hot Three Mile Island sauce; they came out piping hot, and I quickly devoured them. I cooled them down with a pitcher of ice cold Heineken beer. I also had their signature curly fries with melted cheddar cheese and celery sticks with blue cheese. If you're not into hot wings, I highly recommend the Philly Cheese S sandwich. This is a great Hooters location. It has a nice out door bar and patio. The inside has plenty of seating and the bathroom is surprisingly clean. The food is consistent with other Hooters locations (good wings and fries). Plenty of parking as well. The service is average to slightly above average depending on the day. read more

First of all, the service was great and our waitress was very attentive to our table. We have been going to this location for a long time but it seems each time we go to food gets worse and worse. Our wings always seem smaller and with less sauce which makes them not as tasty. Also, our fries while had good seasoning - they were not enough. I came to Hooters in Doral, Miami about a couple of weeks ago with a good friend and we both thought it was still a good place. I am a Miami native and I've been here before and I would say it's still a good place to watch a sports game and grab some drinks. We had two orders of burger sliders which were pretty good and two Heineken beer buckets. Waitress was super attentive she left the other beers closed in the bucket and would come by as soon as we finished the last sip to open a new one! The Friendly staff is definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back, the whole staff is really attentive and they work fast and always have a smile. This is my one of my go-to's when we're hungry and want to enjoy cheap drinks and food. I come and sit outside, the inside is way too cold plus I might smoke cigarette or vape while I wait and the Miami weather is somewhat nice so I'd rather enjoy the sun. The legendary margaritas are $5 each so that's my go to. Get a few wings, smoked wings, blackened shrimp and fries and that's enough for everyone to pick at while we sit and gossip. The sliders are also great. ALWAYS get cheese with my fries as I like dipping everything in the cheese. This is a great place to go, catch up and have a few drinks. The one in coral gables was good until i found shrimp in my chicken when i made it clear that i am allergic. Use to go there twice a month. Had another issue when they gave us cold chicken after we told them well done. One of the managers came and gave us another set which was overcooked sauce was burnt! After complaining respectfully the cooks were in the kitchen laughing. so yea we are better off at Doral. read more

Not all Hooters are created the same! My favorite, spicy garlic breaded bone in wings were well cooked, although some were not thoroughly sauced, I was given an extra little cup of dipping sauce, so no problem with the food or the beer. My problem lies with my receipt. I was given my itemized receipt and my credit card receipt to sign. I signed the credit card receipt, but for some reason the waitress took my itemized receipt away, I did ask for it back because I like to keep those things and look over them when I get home and settled to make sure there were no fraudulent charges. I did not find any fraudulent charges, but what I did find was that my receipt was already scanned for the reward points as I have the app so I collect points. I don't know if this is their little scam they got going on there but I don't like it. I don't like it one bit because it's theft! As much as I love you Hooters, I will not be returning to this location. Don't worry I'm not giving up a Hooters just this location. read more

Traveled to Miami for a guys weekend, decided to stop at hooters Doral to pregame before the clubs. Decided on the outside bar where we all were greeted hospitably by Uniqua and Denia, who both immediately made us all feel right at home. Uniqua was the perfect person when it came to drink recommendations, after mentioning that we all were interested in trying new beers she recommended a local favorite freedom tower but the real turn up was her margaritas. She was super attentive, checked on us consistently even with a packed bar, and hooked us up with some spots to hit up in Wynwood. The outside bar was definitely a turn up, wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet spot to drink but all in all, all the ladies we encountered made the crew feel like we chose the right place to go. For being someone that used to work for the Hooters company and go on a frequent I have to say how extremely disappointed I am in the quality of the food as well as service. I took my son to go have our usual, which would be the wings and the buffalo shrimp, and the food was absolutely gross. It had to be returned three different times. The french fries were not even close to par and the service was absolutely horrible. It was not even busy that they were not even on a wait yet the manager could not even come to our table to apologize or even say anything to us. Hooters is definitely one of my favorite places to go have wings and beer. The wings are like no other and definitely my favorite. However the service..... the service usually depends on your server. There's a 1 in 5 chance that you will have good service in this location. The day time servers always seem a bit disoriented and never remember what you ask for. Wings usually take forever to get after ordering them. It's very rare to get good service at this place.
