Don't sit at the bar!! I went to Hooters on a Monday night and sat at the bar. Big mistake. The bartender/waitress "Emily" was very unprofessional and lazy. After getting the food I ordered, I had to ask for my own silverware and ketchup after sitting for over 5 minutes unattended. I had to call out for her to refill my drink. I also had to ask for a refill of wings. She actually came and asked me if I needed more after sitting for 25 minutes without getting my initial order. Apparently she forgot about my order. Then there were some customers who came in that she knew. All they did was talk trash about the manager on duty. She was talking about how he was a big a-hole. They weren't shy about it either. Everyone at the bar could hear. Needless to say, it was a very unpleasant visit. It really sounds more like a training issue. I won't be back for a very long time. read more

I am a Hooter's fan and yes it is because I love their wings. I have been to this location many times. I was less than impressed the last time I was here in Feb. I thought that experience was a fluke. A second experience proves this location has gone down hill. The wait staff was friendly, but new personnel is needed. All I will say is some girls are not cut out to wear this uniform! The food was sub par! Let's hope improvements are made because I enjoy a good batch of wings from time to time. read more

What a horrible experience. I was craving some hooters hot drums. We ordered fried pickles and beer. The waitress returned with our drinks and I ordered the drums. Sorry sir we are all out of chicken wings......???????. We just have boneless chicken. So we ordered and the entire meal was disgusting. I will never return to Hooters again. Always a fun place to take the guys when they come to town! Best beer in town and the food is pretty good.

Waitress had an attitude. Her boyfriend was eating there, so it was a nuisance to check on her other customers. We literally sat with empty glasses for 24 minutes before she came back around. However, when we finally got our check, she was at our table 3x in 3 minutes. Mediocre food that is overpriced. Save yourself money and go somewhere else. read more

I like the daytona flavored wings, buuutt, the service is a bit slow and I was charged twice at the tune of $88 wtf and my meal of course of $36 . The windows and placards are nasty with a couple of bullet holes in the window on the hiway side. My daughter worked at Phoenix Hooters and pointed it out to us the dirty conditions and slow service. Wings and fries were both cold. Fries sent back and warmer fries returned, but they weren't fresh out of the deep fryer. Wings sent back and returned cold again. The time that elapsed between when they were sent back and when new wings were served again was less than 10 minutes. Not sure the 2nd attempt at wings could have been freshly prepared in that amount of time. Flies everywhere. I know Hooters isn't about the food, but I don't want really bad food either. read more

Yesterday I came into the Amarillo Hooters with my family. We sat at a large table and next to us was a highly intoxicated man laughing at the top of his lungs being so loud, rude and obnoxious. I asked the waitress how long he had been here drinking and she said for at least 6 hours drinking. As he continued to be loud and rude he woke up my baby that was asleep and started making her cry. We made a complaint to the manager and he did absolutely nothing about it and then proceeded to go and laugh and converse with the man himself!!!! We could not get any service because all the waitresses were hanging around this man as well and he was handing out money to all them ( and he was NOT paying a tab!!!!!!).At this point we decided we had enough and we ended our meal in complete disgust with the whole experience!!! This Hooters has done nothing but go down hill for the last 3 years and seems like it's not stopping!! This is sad considering this is the only location we have here in Amarillo!!! The food has just been awful!! I just hope that man didn't kill or harm anybody when he drove home because of how highly intoxicated he was!!!!! read more

During our travels across the nation, we decided to pick an old favorite and eat at Hooters. It was not busy so we pulled off the interstate to settle in for a few bites. My spouse ordered naked wings but they arrived with sauce on them and we had to return them. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and the chicken was not fully cooked. We showed the manager the raw meat and he promptly comped the bill for us. I won't be able to eat chicken for a long time since that occurred. I sense they are unorganized in the kitchen. Also when an order was ready for the female server, the guy in the kitchen yelled out a name and one of the girls said, "why do you call her that?". I sense there is some sexual harassment issues there as well and some disrespect. All in all it was not a pleasant experience. We started going to Hooters when we lived in FL and always had a very good experience. This experience turned us off Hooters for good, even though the manager graciously paid for our meals to compensate for the errors. Eat there at your own risk. Sad to say. read more

We should have read the poor reviews of this Hooters before stepping in the door of this place. We would have left immediately! Upon walking in, 2 girls were standing at the hostess stand fixing the shorts of one of the girls. When asked if we were meant to seat ourselves or be seated, the girl (not in the short black hooters shorts that were being adjusted) very curtly said "No, we will seat you". She slowly gathered enough menus for our party of 4 and walked away mumbling "follow me". We sat down and our waitress seemed nice enough, took our drink order and left. When she came back to take our food order, we ordered an appetizer and then told her our dinner order. She was pretty non-existent until the food came at which time we asked where our starter was and she gave us a blank look and said "let me go find out". We told her never mind since she brought our meal and we had order the starter as exactly that....a starter BEFORE the meal. She never once refilled our drinks and we we had to stop her while she wandering around to get our check. We will never stop here again.
