Wysdom on the other hand took over later in the shift and was only there to ask us if our ticket had been closed out which it had not. Lacy had come back around to ask if we wanted anything else before she left and to tell us that Wysdom would be with us shortly. That was when Wysdom asked us if our check was closed and wasn't even the one to bring the drinks. She had spent majority of the night at one table and did not check in with us. I hate leaving negative reviews because some days it's just that they are having a bad day but she did not even try with us and leisured at that table she was at right next to us. She didn't even come to check with us about last call, and didn't cash us out until after closing. We went a full hour zero service from her

I politely asked the waitress to come over and I explained my disappointment. She was SOOO extremely polite and attentive. She called a manager, who I repeated my question to. She was also EXTREMELY polite and attentive and did absolutely everything to correct the situation. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the district manager was on site. He interceded & proceeded to acknowledge and address our situation. To me, it was minor inconvenience, but this restaurant handled it with class, grace, and a huge amount of professionalism. I give a top tier review to them! I've never been disappointed at this location, but today they went above and beyond! If you're ever dining at Texas Firehouse in Amarillo, Tx on Coulter... You'd be lucky to be served by Valerie! I don't know the manager or district manager's names, but they were top tier too!!! Highly recommend! 10/10 for sure!

I asked another female waitress about it & she mentioned he'd been working there for some time, don't know how that's possible but if it were my establishment, I wouldn't tolerate that behavior. Period. Some youngster these days need serious etiquette, manners & put in their place. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant/bar as a first choice. Really ruined the whole dinning experience.

There is also plenty to keep you entertained in terms of bar games. They have TVs all over the place and are pretty good at finding the game you want to watch. They have food and snacks in case you get hungry. It's typical pub grub and fairly forgettable. But at least you can order food. Alright, now on to trivia. Every Tuesday night at 7PM they have pub trivia. This is what has kept me coming back week after week. The set up is simple, easy, and free to play. First and second place get gif cards ($50 and $25 respectively). It would be cool to see third place get something small but I'm not complaining. One of the coolest aspects of trivia, is that week in and week out you have the same teams showing up. I've found it be incredibly fun and strongly suggest you check it out.
