Waitress was very sweet. But the place is disgusting. There's food on the ground all over the place, the kitchen is disgusting, and the food...oh lord the food. The wings taste like straight shit, they don't feel or taste like wings what so ever. The fried pickles taste like disgusting cardboard. My first time here and definitely not coming back what so ever. The manager was great and respectful but that place is so gross. read more

If I could give no star, I would because we ordered raw oysters and other foods. When the raw oysters came out, it was covered with lots of mud all over them. This is absolutely disgusting because how dare they serve food like that? Even though we brought this concern to the manager's attention, and he waved the charge, but the way he reacted to it was that the way they handle it were just to open the oysters, rinse it real quick, then serve. So, it was expected, I assume. So, it should be typical to them to have mud on the oysters. But no, it was nasty, unacceptable, and sickening. Will never return, or recommend anyone to Hooters!!! Overall experience was ruined and ridiculous. read more

Bartender was no very hospitable. Happy hour was at 3pm we wanted to order a pitcher at happy hour price at 257pm she said we had to wait. Instead of pouring it and ringing it in at 3pm. Not very friendly no emotion. Not a busy restaurant either. Order a pitcher of coors lite for me and coworker and had a chicken sandwich pickle chips. Then move sober to have drinks with my friends at another table . Manager cam over to cut us off for an hour if we were to order another drink. Seemed odd for guys to have two beers a piece from a pitcher and food and not be able to order more drinks. read more

2 stars is a stretch but our waitress was really nice and didn't care it was close to closing time. My husband and I waked in to this establishment Saturday night around 9:30. The Cowboys were playing so we figured the staff would be quicker on their feet with service. NOPE! We waited 5 mins to be seated. No one, NO ONE made eye contact. At least 4 waitresses walked passed us, even the manager walked by at least twice and NEVER said a word or even looked our way. The bartender looked over at us once, and I know this bc I smiled at her, but she never said "someone will be with you shortly" or any gesture. Finally we were seated. (Sigh) There were 2 waitresses that I walked pass us, one of which was squatted down WITH HER LEGS WIDE OPEN sweeping under the table. There's better ways to make a good tip, darling. Finally our sweet waitress came to our table. She was across the restaurant dealing with a huge table of guys, but still managed to come over and help us. Her name was Lexie. She took our drink order and since we didn't get help, or even a "hi how are you" from any other waitress, we were ready to order. The food was correct and we ate and hung out for a bit. Lexie was very kind and made small talk. She seemed pretty busy the whole time we were there; dealing with other tables. Sad that all the other waitresses were busy getting ready to shut the place down and no one offered to give her a hand. When I go to a restaurant, I expect them to work as a team. That's what makes me want to go back and have a pleasant experience. read more

After our last visit, I wasn't expecting much. However, we had great service and the food was piping HOT and delish! I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and the meat was hanging over the bun and was tender and juicy! read more

Hmmm, thats weird, I just watched a UFC event there in December. For my review I will say this. It's Hooters. Mediocre food, cute girls (sometimes). read more

Before we could even sit down we were greeted by Vanessa with a big smile and playful attitude. When ordering my food she was very polite and attentive to my needy order. Slow, slow, slow and more slow! Waited almost 45 minutes for a sandwhich. My previous lunch here wasn't quite as bad, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and another chance. Good food most of the time, just not much on the long wait time. It's Tuesday around 3:00 p.m and not very busy at all! read more

Just a quick to the point review: -THEY DON'T SHOW THE UFC EVENTS HERE!!! -Make sure you don't get the waitres Hana because she likes to chat a lot...with the OTHER tables. -The food is served rather quickly. -THEY DON'T SHOW THE UFC EVENTS!!! read more

Spent ~45 on wings, fries and beers for two. Certainly didn't get a good value. Wings were okay and fries were good but that's hard to mess up. Restaurant didn't live up to its standards. It's main attraction fell very short. Was surprised that this was the case since this is the easiest expectation to meet. Found a part of feather on a wing, when i pointed it out to the waitress she told me it happens because the wings are fresh. I found this to be a BS answer but maybe I'm wrong. Won't be back, better wing joints read more

I will never ever return to this restaurant again even if they were giving out free food! I placed a to go order and when I arrived at the correct pick up time my food wasn't ready until 23 minutes later. So I said to my self ok since the food isn't ready yet it's gonna be hot and fresh bull crap when I got into my car my fries were cold and hard as hec and the chicken looked like someone had picked in it. And while waiting on the cold food, I saw one of the waitresses put her hand into a food container how disgusting is that" and she didn't have any gloves on. I really see why Hooters are closing down across the country this location should be next on the list to close! Smdh what a waste of money ! Stay way way from this place. read more

Service great. Food YUCK!! I ordered a chicken salad and it was old lettuce, brown on all the edges and some of the darker green leaves was actually slimy. Server was so embarrassed. She went to get the manager and they wouldn't even make time to come out and see the salad or talk to me. It's obviously by lack of interest they 1) don't care 2) knew about. Server came to tell me she took the cost off our bill and said that there were actually 2 managers there. WOW and neither one gives a crap. What a shame! Giving one star just because I wanted to leave a review read more

Walked in to grab some lunch. Hostess was quick to seat me. Was told my server would be with me shortly. Sat around for 5 minutes looking at menu. Was not asked by anyone if i wanted a drink. My server was no where to be seen. Another server was taking care of a table close by. Did not check to see if i needed anything in the mean time. Knowing i was there. Then I pulled a timer out to see how long it would take someone to see I wanted service. 10 minutes later, still no service. I don't care what excuse you have. If a server sees someone sitting around waiting to be served. Even if your not there server. Stop what your doing to assist, and find out what's going on with the main server the customer was suppose to have. Sitting around for 15 minutes waiting to be served was ludacris. I don't ever plan on eating at this Hooters again. read more

I can see why this Hooters only has a rating of 2.5 stars. Somewhat surprised it's not lower. I will never return to this Hooters. 1. Waitress was not friendly, at all. Never smiled. 2. Beer menu was inaccurate, and the waitress was uninformed. 3. The silverware was dirty. 4. The bathroom absolutely smelled horrible. 5. The floor was so grimy and slimy in the eating area that I thought I was going to fall walking to the bathroom. 6. Wings were lukewarm, at best. read more

This location is by far the slowest location for a hooters I've ever been too. Cooks seem to care more about having fun then preparing quality food. Orders were wrong and way under cooked. Our waiter, "sprinkles" (yes, that's her stage name, so don't bother asking her) was very nice and did a good job. But everyone else that was working, not so much. I would advise all people to rethink the choice to come to this location and choose to eat at a different restaurant. read more

Ordered smoked wings thinking they might be healthier than fried. Wrong. The container was swimming in grease. Nasty.

Great service all around and great wings.. this hooters rolls like it should! Drinks and beer great!

The good news is that the only thing open in this area at 10pm is this Hooters. The bad news is that the only thing open in this area at 10pm is this Hooters. Got to my hotel late after a 5+ hour drive from Colorado so I didn't have much choice. The service sucks, the bar top was covered in salt, the beer taps were working sporadically, the lights over the bar were flickering like a strobe light, food took forever to come out and yet there was no manager in sight. To make matters extra worse, there was some kind of group party in the side room with little kids running around even after 11pm. Another couple came in with a baby in a carrier as well. WTF is wrong with these parents?!? When my food finally arrived, the pickle slice had not been dried out so my sandwich bun soaked up all the juice. My curly fries had about two curly"s and the remainders were little short pieces. Anyway, eat here only if you have to. read more

As a frequent flyer of Hooters restaurants, I must say that I'm very disappointed. Myself along with 111 colleagues have visited the Hooters in Amarillo throughout the course of 4 weeks about 12 times and we've spent an excessive amount of money with your brand. The service has been fair for the most part but tonight I am almost positive that myself and my colleagues will never visit your restaurant again. Three of us came in after work and sat at the bar. We were greeted by a young lady and ordered drinks and we was asked for our ID. This hasn't been consistent over the last three weeks but we still gave them to her. She handed it to Jeremy Green who says he was the GM and he took our IDs to the back to verify if they were "legit" because they were out of state. I have no issue with this but the other visits to your restaurant , they just looked at our ID and served us our drinks. I opted to tell my colleagues that we will not be supporting here and we left. I'm very dissatisfied with you guys service and please educate your staff on the importance of consistency when dealing from regular customers from state-to-state! read more

Called Hooters before we came and were told they were showing the game we wanted to watch got there and they weren't showing it. Still Stayed and ordered beer and food. Found out after order that there is only a 3 beer maximum that you can order. After waiting a long time we finally got our food and it was only lukewarm. I ordered 1/2 lemon pepper and 1/2 medium boneless wings. The medium ones were right but my lemon pepper didn't have any seasoning. Told the waitress about it and instead of offering to remake them offered to bring me some lemon pepper seasoning, which I accepted because I didn't want to wait forever again. We should have just gone to our usual place. read more

Debating if I would rate this hooters a 2 star or a 3 star... On our road trip we stopped by here because it was the closets restaurant that wasn't a fast food joint that was open. and my friends have never been to hooters before so, why not? We arrived and got seated as there were hardly anyone dining here when we arrived. We ordered some beers, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and 48 wings (different flavors). Our beverages came pretty promptly along with most of the food. The mozzarella sticks was missing the ranch we asked for however and the only time our waitress checked up on us is when she was dropping off food other than that she was pretty non-existant. if you've been to hooters, you know the wings are what to get here and their okay (in every hooters not just this one) The attentiveness could be better at this establishment though read more

Hooters gets a bar rap once in a while... usually from people who only know the NAME and not the restaurant. Sure the food isn't the BEST around but the service is usually great. The waitresses change like the wind here in the panhandle of Texas though. As of now... Kelly, Hillary, Jesse, Sherry, and Kyla are awesome... beautiful too!!!! :) Order the wings and have them throw em back on the grill after shaking them... makes it a LOT better! Never tried their "DAYTONA" wings which are similar with BBQ sauce... I just prefer less greasy wings and back on the grill they go for me! :) If ur in town check it out... it's just off the interstate and easy to get to from the Soncy exit. read more

Went in on a Saturday to eat lunch and watch some college football. Ordered hooterizer appetizer that came out with breading partially uncooked and onion rings raw. Ordered 10 boneless wings that were cooked but were soggy from sitting in a pool of sauce. Halfway into second game that we watched the waitress advised us that we were being cut off after total of 5 beers split between 2 people. Then it took 20 minutes and the managers help just to get our ticket. This place has gone down hill for food , customer service and staff knowledge. Hadn't been there in a while and will not be going back. read more

Seriously...in from the Houston area...this is the second time I have been to this Hooters in Amarillo and service has sucked and our orders were wrong and the waitress nor the manager knew the menu. Stopped here on our way home to Illinois. This place was not like or usual Hooter experience. Floors are filthy, smell of urine on the way to the bathrooms, floors are so slick with grease I nearly fell with every step I took. Only 10 Patrons in the whole place and TV's volume was screaming! Food took a long time to arrive and for the cost the food on the plate should have cost 1/2 as much. Seats are dirty and in need of repair Not recommended read more

Today's experience not so good greasy wings and slow service. I don't know why I stopped here. It was the same last time.

Slowest service ever! Waited 30 min for boneless wings and a salad. The place is not even busy! Terrible!

We recently traveled from Colorado and arrived in Amarillo around 9:45 pm. After driving over 10 hours, wings sounded amazing and lucky for us, Hooters was open late. Our 2 year old daughter was with us and as we were leaving, a huge storm was hitting Amarillo. We could barely see our truck because the rain was so heavy. My husband and I stood by the front door trying to figure out the best way to keep her as dry as possible, when the manager came up and offered us an umbrella. I know this seems like a small gesture to some, but for an exhausted mother, it meant so much. Thank you to the manager and staff working that night who were so friendly to us. We will definitely be back! read more

The worst service I have ever had at this chain. Server cared more about talking to a guy at the bar rather then taking care of us. Only reason for 2 stars was good. It was hot and tasty. Came out quick but if you asked the server for anything it took forever. Won't be back read more

What a terrible experience. Our food order was "lost" in the kitchen. During the time that we spent there waiting, my husband noticed that that there was vomit in the men's room twice within the hour and a half it took them to manage to bring our food. The manager explained the "lost" ticket and said our meal was on the house. Good thing, because when the food finally showed up it was wrong and the fries were old, cold and nasty. Never again. Hannah was our bartender and it was NOT her fault. She took good care of us and was super hard working. I told her she ought to take her work ethic to a place that is not such a dump. read more

2 stars because of the beer selection and of course games available to watch. When I used the women's restroom it was so filthy, an employee was present and commented "women are so disgusting". The next time I visited it was unchanged. We ordered the baked wings tossed in buffalo sauce when they arrived, no sauce. Server returned them to the kitchen then returned them back to our table saying " our mild sauce is a butter based you can't see it." Ok we ordered medium. We asked for the manager, she again said oh our mild sauce is butter based. Well we ordered medium "Oh yeah that's just a butter sauce also." We have had the baked wings at other locations that were so good. If ever in Amarillo seek better options. read more
