Despite this, I was not informed that insurance deductibles reset at the start of the year. My appointments were scheduled for 12/20/2025 and 1/2/2026, which caused me to pay my full 2025 deductible for just one visit. There were several opportunities to communicate this - during scheduling, insurance intake, or before the appointment - but it was never mentioned. Follow-up communication was slow, and the response I received lacked professionalism and accountability. No effort was made to resolve the situation; instead, responsibility was shifted entirely to the patient.

After having surgery for a torn labrum, I was initially skeptical about physical therapy. This was my first time dealing with this type of injury, and I underestimated both the treatment process and the benefits it could provide. I was definitely mistaken. Hahn at reception is also easygoing, efficient, and quick to assist. The location is convenient, and parking is ample, which is a big plus. Overall, I highly recommend Pacific Therapy.

I've worked with Allison for the past few months and can't recommend their office enough for any men dealing with pelvic pain. Prior to my first visit I was dealing with severe nerve pain shooting through my groin into my abdomen and down my legs making everything from sitting to walking across a room feel like being stabbed constantly. Each session has been incredible with both helping to identify the root of the problem and education on what I can do to help progress the treatment in between appointments. I've recovered enough to get back to regular walks and routine trips with minimal pain and continue to address even the tiniest flare ups with Allison's help. I can't recommend them enough for anyone experiencing something similar. As an added bonus, the staff that help at the front for scheduling are super friendly and helpful in working around what works best for each individual. Thanks for all you do!

From the beginning, the team has provided exactly the right combination of expertise, encouragement, motivation, and support. They have challenged her when appropriate, celebrated her progress, and helped her stay focused and positive throughout the process. Her recovery has been phenomenal, and we are incredibly grateful for the role they have played in getting her to this point. For a motivated athlete, Fysiotherapy Hawaii is an ideal training and rehabilitation environment. The atmosphere is positive, focused, and encouraging, and it is clear that the team genuinely cares about the athletes they work with and their long-term success. The co-pay is a little higher than other physical therapists I have seen, which I'm not sure why with the same insurance, but I assume that's something to do with insurance and not with Rehab Therapy Partners. The location itself needs probably some tender love and care, it's not as well kept as other physical therapy locations, but the machines they use are all perfectly fine and clean.

My last visit I had to keep looking for the assistant helping me. And when you go in to greet the receptionist they don't seem to hear you say good morning. Or maybe they're just too busy or have headphones. And what changed my mind about continuing with them was after all my exercises the therapist came in for a "check" and asked me "do you want me to check on your leg?" How does one answer that? Isnt that why you're seeing them? I cancelled the rest of my therapy. If I'm paying for physical therapy I should have one at least observe if I'm doing the exercises correctly or need any adjustments. They cattle people in and leave them to do whatever they need to while the therapists and assistants go to their "break room" and you can hear them chatting and laughing. I was assigned…read moreto a therapist who was young and whose response to any comment or a question was a high giggle and a murmured "Oh, I see I see". I was assigned a bunch of exercises and she did not know how to print out instructions for me. She instead uploaded them to an app instead, which had me do some basic exercise exercises for up to three minutes. When I came back ten days later (she was unavailable before then) and I asked why they were so long, she said that was incorrect, but she didn't know how to change the routine in the app. She had me go back to my previous workout routine. So in the end, some of the issues with my shoulder did go away. But honestly, it did not inspire confidence in the quality of all the therapists. I think with some you're good with others not so good.

Dr. Dean Yoshimoto is AMAZING!!!…read more My mom has been suffering from extreme knee pain for some time now, and even seeing a sports medicine doctor and physical therapists back at home in Chicago, nothing was working - the pain was still there, if not more so, and there was never a clear answer or a treatment plan that was offered by any of the specialists. Here comes Dr. Yoshimoto, who literally decreased my mom's knee pain by 90% after 1 visit. Yes, you heard that right - 90%!!! He was extremely patient, kind, and really broke it down in terms of pinpointing what exactly was going on, what treatment was needed, and what exercises to do at home. He was so shocked and was left speechless that my mom was dealing with inept individuals all this time - clowns, I tell you! Unbelievable. You can tell that Dr. Yoshimoto genuinely cares for each of his patients. He's not the typical physical therapist who gives you some stretches to do, hooks you up to a muscle stimulating machine, and/or gives you a head pad and calls it a day. He actually tries to target the source of pain!
