I've only been to the Kakaako location but they are the best PT clinic I've been to. The therapists are experienced, knowledgeable, and they care-- no "paint by numbers" exercises. They can adapt and are creative and helpful to meet you where you are and help you to improve. In addition, their receptionist is responsive and helpful and answers the phone directly! Getting back on my feet... Through a workers compensation treatment for my ankle I was sent to OrthoSport Hawaii in Kaka'ako which is located right inside of Queen's Island Urgent Care so parking would be in SALT which is free for the first hour but with validation it's just an additional dollar for the next hour. My therapist was Alicia and I just loved her vibe very calm ad caring as she begins to figure out my issues other than the obvious as our therapy sessions went a couple times a week she gave me ways to not just strengthen at home but what's the proper way to do so as I've been compensating other areas because of my issues. Scheduling is easy and they send you reminder of your sessions which is great but working things out along with suggestions of support and techniques she's given me is great and do suggest take that care as it keeps me recover one step at a time. Sorry for the late review, but this place is incredible--truly life-changing! I tore my ACL several years ago, and it continued to cause me problems. The care I received at OrthoSport Hawaii was one of a kind. They developed a specialized workout for me that even simulated paddleboarding in the office--so creative and tailored to my needs! The staff is calm, cool, and collected, creating an atmosphere where you feel supported every step of the way. I've recommended them to all my friends and family on the island. Been getting therapy for my plantar fasciitis June 2023 by Alicia Taylor from the 400 keawe st location and she has been a huge help She stretches & squeezes my foot by hand and has me do a variety of foot and calf exercises / stretches She also recommends wearing closed toed shoes with arch support and not just slippers and Sandles all the time which do not support yr foot much I pray my PF will be a thing of the past and soon I am so tired of hobbling around here and there with a sore heel I am so thankful I am getting help from Ortho sport Hawaii Mahalo nui loa read more

As a recovered stroke patient from a vetebral artery dissection, I contend with residual symptoms of tingling & numbness sensations on one of my legs & suffer from chronic sciatic nerve pain. Daniela's professionalism, extreme knowledge in her field coupled with genuine patience were instrumental in alleviating my sciatic nerve pain & helping me manage my residual symptom flare ups. Rebecca is an incredible Physical Therapist. I spent over a couple months of treatment at this beautiful facility and was really happy to have such wonderful support and guidance during my injury. Without Rebecca I would be in huge amounts of pain and it would have been a longer process to recover my injury. Everyone is beyond sweet and have great music. Ortho sports Daniela is one of the best PT I have ever had! I have an entire ACL torn and ligament reconstruction surgery on my knee, and she trains me to build the muscles to support my knee and help me get closer to my recovery goals. She is very creative on developing different trainings that fit best for you along the way when you are progressing, and she observe the details of how your body react and adjust the plan accordingly. I hurt my lower back in May and began PT at OrthoSport (Kaka'ako). When I went for my first appointment, I was so scared as I never had a back injury or did PT before. Daniela was my therapist and she was so kind, knowledgable and reassuring. She immediately made me feel comfortable and encouraged that I could heal and get better. I went from barely being able to sit/stand/lay down without intense pain to moving around with ease, just 2 weeks later. Daniela was great in tracking my progression. We did a mixture of stretches, along with exercises and as my back started to heal more, the sessions slowly got more challenging. She made it a point to express the areas I needed to focus on/exercises I should avoid to help me prevent injuries in the future. I just finished my last appointment and I feel great! OrthoSport is by far the best physical therapy place that I have been to. I have been to other physical therapy places and this was the first place that I had one-on- one time with the therapist. My therapist was Danielle and she was always there ensuring that my form was right and focusing on the right muscles. I was visiting Hawai'i for 6 weeks during the middle of my healing process and I can tell you that just the six weeks with Daniela my range of motion and strength got better and I had a pretty major surgery (fractured shoulder, torn labrum, torn bicep, and shaved clavicle) so rehabilitation was tough but with their expertise, I was able to heal faster. I specifically requested Tasha Connolly (745 Fort Street/Topa financial center) based on a high praise from a dear friend whom worked with Tasha on a chronic neck pain. For me, I had a severed rotator cuff and was experiencing quite a bit of pain. What made the process of working with Tasha so unique is the fact that I had my surgery and began my PT in the bay area and when the PT sessions continued with Tasha, I recognized the binary difference between the quality of the treatment. The former PT was fine, but what Tasha brings to the process is a much higher level of understanding of the injury, immediate improved pain management, and the methodical steps and explanations involved with daily sessions, as well as what to expect for the upcoming appmts. They have great evening hours which made it easier for me to go to work then go for PT not only evening hours they start early as well so I could also go before work. The PT's have such a great passion for what they do and are so knowledgeable that you can't help but want to spend more time with them. The location is good with a parking garage next door which cost a dollar for a hour. The staff is great. You see them cleaning any piece of equipment right after someone uses it. The PT is done one on one so you have your therapist total attention.
