It was a bit difficult to eat with the plastic holder towards the end because the cone was harder to push up and hold up. It's interesting that it's only and outside order window and pick up. The inside area is not open to the public. Service was great. Very friendly staff. I wouldn't come back though.

The order took quite a while to prepare, which I don't blame on the delivery driver at all. I could see that he was waiting at the restaurant for an extended period, so I assumed they were just busy because of the promotion. When the food arrived, however, there were pieces of eggshell in the scrambled eggs. Even worse, while my boyfriend was eating his plátanos fritos, he found a hard piece of plastic in the food. Thankfully, he noticed it and was able to pull it out before swallowing it or getting hurt. I called the restaurant directly and also reported the issue to Uber Eats. I'm not writing this because I'm looking for free food or because I want to hurt a family-owned restaurant. I spent over $90 between the food, fees, and tip, and I ordered again because I genuinely enjoyed the food the first time. But finding hard plastic in someone's food crosses a line from an order mistake to a serious safety concern. Promotions and busy days happen, but food safety and basic quality control still have to come first. Unfortunately, after this experience, I would say eat here at your own risk. We were lucky enough to notice the plastic before someone was seriously hurt.

This place is a hidden gem in Whittier! Slow down when you're driving down Main Street, because you might miss one of the best spots in town. The service was amazing, the staff greeted me with friendly smiles, and the atmosphere made me feel genuinely welcome. Honestly, if I had known about this place sooner, I would have skipped those boring Starbucks runs . Trust me, I know what good coffee tastes like, and this place missed the mark entirely. I was so disappointed to spend over $14 on a coffee that I ended up tossing after just 2-3 sips. The butter toffee coffee didn't taste like coffee, or even like the syrup it was supposed to have. It was overly hot and completely lacked flavor. As for the Spanish latte, it was sweet, but there's a proper way to make it, and this wasn't it. On the bright side, the customer service was excellent, and the coffee shop was clean and well-organized. Unfortunately, the coffee itself just didn't live up to expectations. read more

Recently I noticed a review mentioning that the younger employees sometimes struggle to keep up during busy periods and occasionally mess up orders. Unfortunately, I've had a similar experience more than once. To be fair, everyone makes mistakes, and working in customer service isn't easy. But after enough incorrect drinks, forgotten modifications, and inconsistent quality, I finally reached my breaking point. Ironically, I should probably thank Bark Coffee. The repeated order issues were the final push I needed to buy my own espresso machine. After spending some time dialing in my grinder settings, shot times, and technique, I'm now making coffee at home with a level of consistency and quality that honestly exceeds what I was getting during many of my visits. So thank you, Bark. You inadvertently inspired me to learn a new skill and save a little money in the process. Will I ever come back? Probably. If I run out of beans, need caffeine while already on the road, or don't feel like making coffee myself, I'll stop by. But for the foreseeable future, I'll be enjoying LARP Coffee from my own kitchen, where the barista never gets my order wrong. Wishing the team the best and hoping they can improve consistency moving forward.

I was having a weird day so the positive encounter helped alleviate some of my anxiety. Thank you ladies! Ambience: the store is spacious, clean, has AC blasting & also has tables with umbrellas outside. Parking: there's ample free parking available I'll be visiting again when I'm in the area! Sometimes you just want to wash life away with a boba slush and thanks to being in Whittier a few…read moreweeks back, I found myself at Chami Tea Bar next to my favourite shop the Toy Depot. My wife and I strolled into this shop in the middle of the afternoon and were in and out in just a couple of minutes. I ordered a mango slush with boba and before I knew it I was on my way. The drink tasted great and quenched every bit of thirst I had. What else can someone need out of a boba shop? Overall, Chami Tea Bar gets a big thumbs up from me and I'll definitely be a returning customer in the future. As long as the Toy Depot stays open, I'll be coming back for more!
