My order I was ripped off on

I ordered food thru the yelp app only for the young lady that worked there tell me that they don't use yelp and I never received my order nor my money back

Lunch special Fried chicken and Fish with french fries.
Sabina M.

The restaurant was recommended for fast takeout but definitely place your order ahead of time. The online ordering process is SUPER simple. I ordered several individual lunches and everything came out as ordered. The fried fish was enjoyable while everything else was just okay.

2 pcPerch Lunch Special Side order of mushrooms

The fish tasted odd. Not sure if it's a cleaning agent for the fish before it breaded. The French fries are crispy and warm. The mushroom are good. Service was friendly and quick. The drive thru pavement was bumpy. I didn't receive any napkins. Over all I'm not impressed.

Love the food, hate no move deliveries. I am a senior citizen and it helps sometime to have delivery.

I don't write reviews often, but Southern Grace absolutely deserves one…read more The food here is already well known for being amazing, so that part isn't a secret. Everything is seasoned perfectly, cooked right, and served hot. The fried fish was crispy and flavorful, the mac and cheese was rich and comforting, the greens tasted like they came straight out of someone's family kitchen, and the candied yams were sweet and done just right. It's the kind of plate that reminds you why Southern cooking is so special. But what really stood out to me wasn't just the food. It was the customer service. In most places, you either get incredible food with average service, or great service with food that's just okay. Southern Grace somehow manages to deliver both at a very high level. From the moment you walk in, you're treated with genuine kindness and respect. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and you can tell they actually care about the experience they're giving their customers. I have to make a special mention to one of the team members LaDon for his exceptional professionalism. That kind of consistency between food quality and customer service is rare. It makes the entire experience feel personal rather than transactional. If you're looking for authentic Southern food paired with top-tier hospitality, Southern Grace is absolutely worth the visit. Places like this remind you what real customer service is supposed to feel like.

Fried Chicken? Libby's gots the goods!…read more I've been here a few times now. A lover of fried chicken who is always on the hunt for the good stuff, Libby's does not disappoint. Located just over the river in Covington, KY, Libby's is only a few blocks walk from some of the happenings in Covington, like the Madison Theatre and Madison Live. There's a decent pay parking lot right at the intersection just across the street from Libby's. I went for the fried chicken and that's what I got.... both times. Libby's is nowhere near me so it was worth the 40 minute drive to get there the first time and an easy go-to for the second time around when I was going out for the night in Covington. The fried chicken is super crispy, full of flavor and moist and delicious. Libby's crushes it when it comes to the fried chicken. Here's the thing - I got sides both times. The chicken, being the feature of the meal, was so good that I don't even remember the sides that I got. I can say though that they were good. Libby's is popular. So, plan on a wait or, if available, to take a seat at the bar. Libby's isn't huge but they have space to take on a larger table of people to small high-tops for two or, again, for one or a few to grab a seat at the bar. The staff is friendly and helpful. We never wanted for anything. They were on top of it without bothering you. Would I go back? Cluck yeah, I'd go back. Remember when I said "Libby's gots the goods"? I wasn't kidding. Go find out for yourself and get you some and then come back and tell me how right I was.

Wobbly table, several groups were there. (I guess service guest service is a dying profession) ? I don't understand why a restaurant resorts to plastic cups from Pepsi or paper napkins? Prices don't reflect that. Sorry I digress Service was slow and she forgot our order, eh? No suggestions for menu options or anything. We chose fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs. Oil for fgtom tastes old. Not delicious eggs with ok. Service is sloppy slow. ( do I keep the fork I used for tomatoes for my entree? I'm at a wobbly table, service is slow and you had to ask for drinks silver ware. I had the 2 piece dark chicken. Good but really spicy and I like spice but this is extremely intense. The Charlie Brown entre was a lot of melted cheese and burnt bacon.our guests had the shrimp and the salmon. It was so loud, screaming across the table loud and there were all of 8 people besides us. My chicken would have been good if it weren't so overbred and over spicy. I had to ask for more beverages. I just don't understand how a restaurant that charges these prices and is mediocre. Paper napkins tv everywhere and not on LOUD, outdoor tables and no cloth. Service that connects with the patrons. This is not greyhound or tousey house. . WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS. Overpriced and cut the attitude with a machete. Many restaurants do exactly the same menu and well. Purple Poulet is one

We read about how good the fried chicken is, so we called to make reservations for a Saturday night…read more(you must call). The place is small and had a very weird vibe between fine dining and kitschy. White tablecloths, but then lots of purple and pictures of roosters everywhere (I realize the name, but hmmm). Our server was lovely but would disappear for too long between times when she should have been present. We ordered our drinks at 745pm, and I watched them sit at the end of the bar. Finally, at 805pm, I went to the bartender and said, "those are our drinks that have been sitting there for a while". Our server brought them over like we ordered them 5 minutes prior. But the lovely owner/manager came over and said the "drinks are on me" because we waited so long. We appreciated that! The fried chicken was good, but the breading was very salty. The green beans were almost inedible because they were so salty. The mashed potatoes were average. The biscuits were fantastic. The fried deviled eggs were okay. A regular deviled egg is better. The shrimp and grits had a lot going on. The shrimp was lightly battered and fried (?) and the flavor of the dish was bold. I think sauteed shrimp and a little less gravy would make it perfect.

I do realize it is a chain but so far they have nailed all the prerequisites of what they need to be a successful chain in my opinion. Definitely recommended to get reservations the day before as I don't believe they take reservations the day of. Ambiance is friendly and warm and service has always been really good! The food is the big highlight though. The food here is just plain amazing. The main course of chicken to all of the side dishes they have. The spoon bread to the sweet potatoes to the mac and cheese, it's all good. It is definitely one of the big reasons we go there. Looking forward to coming back again soon! Bring a big appetite.

I ordered immediately as I was late at 9 PM for dinner. I got the three piece dark with sides of Mac and cheese which came with biscuit, and green beans. As oft said, "I put that sh*t on everything -- so I tried it with the Mac and cheese and it was noticeably better. All in all, pretty good experience here and will rate it 3.5/5 overall.

Every visit feels like a treat, but lately they've taken things up a notch with a lineup of signature cocktails. I tried the espresso martini, and it was outstanding--smooth, balanced, and the perfect complement to the bold, smoky flavors coming out of the kitchen. As for the food, it's consistently excellent. The dry rub wings are my go-to: perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and flavor, and even better when paired with their bama white sauce. If you're leaning sandwich, you can't go wrong with a pulled pork or pulled chicken sammy topped with their Carolina gold sauce--it's tangy, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. And the fries? Thick-cut, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside--exactly what great fries should be. Beyond the food and drinks, Lucius Q really shines as a place to gather. They have a fantastic event space that comfortably holds around 50 people--perfect for parties or private events. It's also one of the rare downtown spots with plenty of TVs, making it a great place to catch a game. Add in live music most Fridays and a great outdoor patio for those perfect Cincinnati weather days, and it's easy to see why this place is always buzzing. Lucius Q is one of those spots I simply can't walk past without slowing down and breathing it in. Whether you're a Pendleton regular or just passing through downtown Cincinnati, it's a must-visit that delivers every single time.
