Super neat location right by the water with amazing views. Our host was very kind upon arrival, asked if we were celebrating a special occasion (which we were) and she sat us at the best table in the lounge. Our server Andre was amazing, he even read us my zodiac since it was my birthday. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. Shout out to the chef who allowed us to order from brunch and happy hour menu since we arrived right in between the times. The food and drinks were fantastic and great portions! They offer brunch Saturday & Sunday & even have happy hour on the weekends! We will definitely be coming back to Hook & Cleaver.

New York steak was perfection. We had the lamb shank as well. The server was top notch and so friendly.

We have the Cajun Prawns again and the New Seasonal Lamb shank this time around! I couldn't decide what I wanted so I said screw it all get both! Thank you very much Amy for taking care of me. Very friendly service! I got to try the Reaper, Temptation, and Original BBQ sauce tonight. For spice lovers the Reaper is perfect heat that still includes taste not just spice Temptation is good for people that like light spice, very good in its own right. And you cant go wrong with Original, everyone back at home loves when I bring some back from traveling. I look forward to returning, ya'll have a good time to look forward to if you come here.

Came for HH and sat in the lounge bar since the patio was not opened that day. I was surprised with how long the list is for happy hour for both drinks and food. The lounge was not crowded at all. There were only two other tables while I was there. We ordered some drinks to start and got some appetizers to share, we ordered the wicked ribs, halibut croquettes, crab and shrimp cakes, and the ahi poke to share. The ribs and the ahi poke were ok. The ani poke was drenched in the vinaigrette and was too sour for me. The croquettes and the crab cakes were good. Came out hot and fresh, also had alot of seafood filling which is nice! We also ordered the steak bites on crostini's and that was really good. Wasn't expecting a crostini bite but the presentation was good too. Would definitely come back for HH again. They have great deals!

This was a great little find for my partner and me. We were looking for a nice, relaxing dinner spot on a Friday and stumbled upon Hook & Cleaver. The views of the water were amazing, and the service was even better. Our waiter was very attentive and answered every question we had. The food was also excellent. My only nitpick was that our drinks took quite a while to come out after we ordered them, though it seemed like it may have just been an off night. Overall, everything else was absolutely wonderful. It was a pleasure watching the staff interact with guests in such a professional and friendly way.

Very welcoming when we came in. Sat by the window on a clear day the view was great. Our server Walker greeted us and was friendly and great to talk with. Knew the specials, food & drink menu. Our group ordered the rib eye which they say was cooked perfect, 2 rack of lambs which were tasty but could use a little extra crispness on the outside for my order it was not a surprise me but have been trying clams at places. The clams were flavored perfect. Though the bread was soft and perfect crisp on the outside. Want to say thank you to Walker for a great night from 4 guys who were visiting from Las Vegas.

Made reservations for a 1215p girls brunch on a Sunday, and they weren't needed. Staff still delivered as if it were peak season. Ourselves, Sebastian, was prompt, kind, and anticipated needs beforehand. We all ended up getting a half order of their prime rib dip and there was no plate with even a crumb left. (I was hoping for some kind of either fresh crab Benedict or a cali Benny on the breakfast menu, they did have a crab cake Benny though) Views are to die for! We got super lucky with a perfect day for breathtaking sights coupled with delightful bites!

It was 11am on a quiet Saturday in Mukilteo, and we were seated right away. The hostess was very friendly as was our server Lea. We ordered biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and their "very popular" Crab Cake Benedict. We sipped on a couple mimosas while we enjoyed the view and waited for our breakfast. Biscuits and gravy was good the scrambled eggs had lots on brown areas suggesting they were in a pan a bit long. The hollandaise was definitely made in house and tasted pretty good, unfortunately my Benedict did not come with poached eggs. The crab cakes tasted ok, but were a bit salty.. Would have said something to our server if she had returned before we were ready for our check. Will we try this spot again?... Probably not. Buyer beware!

Wedge salad & steak skewers!

Our server, Amy was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming! The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were magnificent!

On a Friday night at it was not that busy and we were sat at a table quickly In Phil's section. We saw Phil racing around when we were at the host station checking in.... Phil was never near our seating and usually either gone or going away if not chatting with other diners. Another server Pete checked in with us then immediately realized he was in the wrong section which turned into a very long uncomfortable effort of his to hold things over. Eventually it got ridiculous and he kept up with us and realizing we were about to leave offered us service. Kudos to Pete but I could see the ivars fish and chips bar right there and we just wanted a nice dinner before catching a ferry. Wish I'd just left. But after this the fish and chips I got was good, expensive, and didn't have any Cole slaw??? My wife enjoyed her meal and a simple glass of wine. The service here has always been goofy and doesn't make us yearn to go back. The food is generally pretty good but high priced for what food you receive. The only servers we saw were like trying to put out a fire while serving dinner. Bus and runner staff pretty low key and getting things done casually. After a bad service experience and Pete's uncomfortable yet energetic attempt to please us my wife made sure to tell me to tip well. Which I had no problem with. Then there was a service charge in the bill. Sorry Pete for all your effort your 20 percent tip got altered over the service charge by your employer that obviously can't staff the dining room properly. I'm not sure we will continue stopping in Friday's when going to the island

Excellent food and service by Phil! had the wagyu steak sirloin and Brussels sprouts. steak was very tender and perfectly cooked. Brussels sprouts were amazing as well. Will definitely be back.

Looking to celebrate any special occasion without feeling out of place? Enjoy your time at Hook and Cleaver. The experience offered great service, very attentive staff, and excellent suggestions for food and drink pairings. You're not going to be disappointed with this family-friendly, casual, or even fancy spot. Whatever the occasion, the experience at Hook and Cleaver is something you'll definitely remember.

Great new spot! There is a bunch of highlights. But my top picks! - The Clam Chowder is giving Ivars a run for its money (and for being within eye sight we might have a surf and turf war coming) - Crab and shrimp cake eggs Benedict is great! - The caper aioli tartar that came with the halibut fish and chips is my new favorite - Rosemary Parmesan potatoes that came with eggs Benedict are top notch - also got the spicy chicken sandwich, salmon panino, homemade cinnamon roll and crawfish dip (And P.S. get the bacon washed old fashion for good measure)

Yay! We are trying everyone's clam chowder and fish and chips. The clam chowder was deliciously adequate. Maybe with some sourdough? Alas... The fish n chips were breaded and not battered. I don't care how long you've been a restaurant, once a better prep comes along you shift and elevate. The chips didn't come with malt vinegar --although I did see it when we left :/ I shouldn't have to ask. The on tap beer definitely needed an upgrade. Waiter wasn't very educated on beers. View 100! Service 85. Food 84.

And what we get from Safeway actually tastes better than what we were served. Then I got an oyster shooter - absolutely disgusting, it was mushy and tasteless. Best part of this restaurant are the servers, and sitting over the clear water on a beautiful day. Our server actually felt so badly for us that he brought a complementary slice of carrot cake. This was incredible - it had caramel syrup drizzled on top. Seriously, the highlight of our meal. We are sitting at SeaTac Airport and my husband ordered fish and chips. Sooooo much better than at Ivar's. It is insane that airport food is better than a well know, established restaurant. A lesson here - do not eat at a tourist trap.

And their house-made fish dips are amazing. In long It's a little strip mall by the Speedway that would be kinda sleepy except for the drive-through coffee line constantly forming around the whole building. E&O have the end unit. You walk in to a shelf full of solid-value wines, mostly local, aimed to pair with whatever you might take home with you to cook. The ceilings are high, and the walls and floors are all spotless white. No decorations, very little merchandising, if any. There's a long butcher case on the left full of all kinds of crazy treats. Prawns the size of bratwursts. Steaks, roasts, different fish. They skip most of the stuff that supermarkets carry and focus only on more-specialty stuff. Their stock is either a nicer version or it's something that's unavailable elsewhere. You do pay for quality like this on some of the stuff, but if you're cooking a meal you're really looking forward to, the value makes it reasonable. Not everything is expensive, either. They had fresh lemons on the case for 40% less than the supermarket up the street. They had reds, whites, bubblies, and pinks in the wine section with every bottle under $20. And those fish dips, man. I'm surprised they don't sell out by afternoon every day. We had wild salmon and black cod dips before dinner last night, and both were fantastic. They're very well balanced, so maybe you could add hot sauce or fresh herbs to taste, but we've had them several times and never felt compelled to tune them up. The dudes behind the butcher case have decades of industry experience, and they couldn't be nicer, more patient, or more helpful. I love shopping here.

We ordered the crab dinner and fish and chips, and I'm here to sing the praises of the fish and chips. This is such an iconic PNW dish, and so many places half-ass it. Anthony's truly made it shine ; crunchy panko breading, fish that was actually seasoned and flaky. The coleslaw was good but a bit dry and lackluster. The crab dinner was solid too. My wife is particular about her Dungeness . If it's good, she'll make it known and this was fresh, seasoned, and delicious. I also love that the seating is staggered so almost everyone gets a view of the water and marina. We also had the Hot Tea, which made for a nice, comforting palate cleanser throughout the meal. For small plates and appetizers, the Steak & Cheese Lumpia was a definitive highlight--crispy, savory, and something you should not miss. The Spicy Won Ton delivered great heat and incredible depth of flavor, while the Jalapeño Dumplings were solid on their own, but truly came alive with an extra splash of chili sauce. Moving on to the main courses, the Szechuan Sea Bass was another undeniable star of the night--vibrant, wonderfully prepared, and highly recommended.
